The place is closed. It's become run down due to neglect and no maintenance. One can see that this place must have been quite a happening place in its good days. Lost glory. Probably could not sustain the Covid lock down.

A decent place to stay. A microwave and cutlery and crockery already part of the room are intelligent and practical additions. The hotel provides a cloth drying stand on request. Hotel staff is excellent. We found the Executive Chef assisting the Front Office staff during peak check in/out time. That was amazing synchronisation within the staff. Kudos to the one lady handling the Front Office through out the day.

The Hotel is more of a 3 star Resort. The Room offered was very spacious & tidy, With clean bathroom & a huge Balcony. There was a massive choice of Breakfast with tasty dishes. The Dinner Buffet could have been with beter choices & a better taste. Swimming pool is quite big & was clean too. All the staff were very polite & helpful. Miss Aleta at the front desk was helpful lady. The Chef was also quite kind enough. The Breakfast staff were very efficient.

Hi,Don't be a fool what shows in a picture it's a poor resort no problem maintenance ,no proper service .the food they cook in a kitchen is not gud @ all .want to say only a thing this resord l is justa poor .they call its a 3star but it's not even a 1 star

Stayed here during recent visit to Goa. Overall property looks nice but rooms seriously need maintenance.  It is a peaceful resort near verca beach in South Goa. Room telephone was not working. Handspray in bathroom was damaged and was extremely difficult to use. Room was spacious and decent sized. Staff was courteous and ready to help. Breakfast was ok and needs lot of improvement. Food service is very slow. Breakfast at the buffet was pathetic every morning. I will specially mention about sambhar which was totally sweet everyday. Very small space in restaurant and limited options in breakfast. Only plus point is overall ambiance of resort which is beautifully romantic and rooms are luxurious.  Their services are slow and they really need to work upon their service. Breakfast was very average, nothing much or special. You have fantastic restaurant Pele just 10 min walk from the resort which had awesome food and drinks and very reasonable prices

Shower is a bit basic but other than that nice room. Staff are so attentive and friendly. A bit off the beaten track, which we like, but cycles, cars and scooters are available to hire and there is a taxi rank opposite who can take you wherever. Nice pool and children's pool. Recommend the spa, great massage.

A well designed, peaceful resort away from traffic pollution and noise. Situated in South Goa, very close to Varca beach, makes the resort adorable. In house, swimming, dining, bar, table tennis, and other play amenities, makes children and adults chill together. Taxi service available to go around Goa and nearby places. Courteous staff, be it front desk, dining, house keeping, room service and likewise makes guests enjoy the comfortable stay.

Booked 5 rooms as a group for 3N on 3rd Nov 2018.Got allotted in 5 different blocks some as far as either side of the pool. We asked for rooms in a single block but were denied. Our check in day- checked in by noon, but on arrival we came to know check in time was 2pm. We got 2 rooms (out of 5, after a laborious process in which all except our kids had to produce our id cards. We got freshed up and went to the hotel's restaurant. It took more than 90 minutes for food to arrive. So horrible food, that we had to give biscuits for the kids for lunch. We never had food again from there. Pool- was under maintenance and was not noted in our check in docs. Was supposed to be ready on our second day but work was lagging even at checkout. ROOMS- Neat- but very small, crammed rooms unlike their ad pics. The bathroom was bigger i feel. Glass partition separating wet and dry areas was missing in 2 bathrooms. So we had an all wet bathroom. Hot water mixer was not working. Hot water- was cut off in 2 rooms by second day and never restored in our stay even after repeated requests to room service. Wi-Fi- range is available in few rooms close to reception area. The others are strictly out of range! Mob network range too is horribly weak. Have to come near pool to make calls. Intercom was missing in one room. One of the managers had an ugly expression on his face as though he wasn't pleased with our checking in. The other one was OK but all seemed helpless. Overall experience- Very horrible and worst experience. Ad I had selected and booked the rooms, I lost my face before the other families. I am sore dissatisfied that I won't be visiting Goa in the near future. Requests- if you are not ready for the season, please have the courtesy to refund the money and ask the guests to find a better hotel instead of imparting poor service out of greed. I would suggest tourists to call up the hotel before booking. Ask in detail about the rooms, your demands and all.

I enjoyed our stay. Overall a good experience. Good amenities, decent food. Excellent spa. Transport is a big problem. If you plan any excursion to North Goa or a drop to Airport is a problem . Staff does not like that you order Taxi from apps. They want you to take a taxi from a local taxi stand, which charges exorbitant rates. I had to argue with them for my rights to use any service I like !

I had a terrible experience at Sterling. I was given a voucher by my company for 2 days in March. On day 1, my wife and I unpacked everything and went out. When we came back in, our room was serviced. We were shocked to see it because we didn't order room service. And, we left all our valuables there in the room. I immediately called the reception and asked for an explanation. The receptionist told me that it was their routine to do room service. I was again baffled by the answer. I went down to reception and then a person tried to tell me that the the employee who did our room service was new and he didn't know. I understood what happened. Eventhough it was a genuine mistake, we couldn't stay any longer. We ended our stay after day 1 and checked out. The buffet was good and the location was also nice. But this incident turned our opinions upside down. I would recommend the management to be extra cautious in such matters of privacy.

Had a good time with my family at Sterling, the pool was clean, they are 2 of them, kid related activities was something I was looking forward for, while most of them were included with the package, some additional ones like battery operated cars and bike for my 3 yr old was a paid one, but reasonably charged. It also included access to Trampoline, automated machine cricket for adults. We had a rented car, and Sterling had ample parking space for their guests. Plenty of small time restaurants around, which were walkable, Beach was pretty close, like a few kms walk. The rooms are spacious and clean, we were happy with their service.

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and the thing that makes it great, are the people. Everyone is fantastically friendly, happy, welcoming. Its like being with a group of friends and family you haven't seen in ages.......every day. We have made many great friends. Also, ask for Euzemio. A local taxi driver. A total legend. Honest and loyal. Thank you to all the team at Sterling Goa Varca.

Spacious rooms, very clean, great breakfast, good facilities if you are with family and kids. Courteous staff. The prices are high for everything. Also please have your own vehicle because (1) they do not have a drop to beach at fixed timings which is 15 mins of walk and is pretty dark lanes after sunset. (2) Day tours as the Sterling hotel's vehicles are damn expensive.

Located right by the side of Varca beach, this resort is for those who aspire for a quaint vacation. As it is, South Goa is more clean, quiet and peaceful than north. The resort is within 5 mins walk from the beach, so one can easily be party to both the sunrise and the beautiful sunset. Coming to the resort amenities, the resort is well maintained, the rooms are great. The breakfast is great. There are two Scooty rentals very nearby. Overall, it is a great place to get a feel of this beautiful place with family and/or friends

The stay at the resort is memorable one. The staffs in the reception, restaurant (naming few Mr.Avijit, Ms.Swizel) have extended their wonderful service. Food items are delicious. Kudos to the chef and team. very neatly maintained pool. Things that we felt should have been better are, 1. The wash rooms are placed bit far from the restaurant / dining area. 2. The children play area / holiday activity was not attended by any staffs.

Had a wonderful stay at the resort. Food was good. Rooms were clean. Outside guests were not allowed to the swimming pool. Staff were really helpful. Specially, Daoh who helped me get in the room when my brother was sound asleep inside the room.

We had a great time with the family and was a memorable tour.. Breakfast was awesome.... Dinner buffet was OK... Ur staff Ajay was very co-operative n helpful with his ever smiling face.... Rooms were clean n spacious... Our family enjoyed a lot!!

I was doing the activities and one of the people making the station for the air shorting only gave me 7 shots instead of the ten. The zorbing activity was horrible the person told me to come out after six minutes even though I wanted to do more. The location is placed close to a beach but the Varca beach doesn’t allow you to swim make it useless. The rooms service feature to clean your room is useless, I went out for 8 hours and the room was not clean despite putting the switch to clean my room.

Beautiful stay! Hotel Arthur is a perfect place to stay in. It is close to the barca beach. The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was good.The full hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.They have holiday outdoor activities for kids and Adults which was amazing enjoyed lot.The staff i met during check inn and whole my staying specially Front office and Recreation Activities holding were very helpful, patient and friendly. No matter what time of day or night, you could turn to them with all your concerns. On my next stays, I will definitely check into Hotel Arthur again and also recommend this hostel for vacation to my family, friends

If you want a quaint, refreshing getaway... Go for this. South Goa is astonishing... But only go, if you want peace of mind... If you love crowds, head north. Most welcome.

If you are visiting South Goa , then Sterling resorts is one of the preferred stay location. Though it's on the higher side on the pricing , but the amenities ,service is definitely worthy. Beautful white sand Verca beach is just 1 km away from resort .

Very good resort with clean rooms and good food. The swimming pool, indoor games and sit out areas are very well maintained.All the staffs were polite and very friendly, Special mention to dhiraj and pradeep in restaurant area, Kisan and Ajay in play area.

Good place,there is a swimming instructor called Ajay, he taught swimming to my kid.but they need to improve their computer system bcz they were saying you didn't pay for breakfast but we payed well advance and after seeing invoice print which we had they agreed. So if you really want to enjoy this place make sure you have all tickets n invoice very much handy

Very nice rooms, interior. Good service. Very kind and caring staff. Activities available for kids. Very nice place for family vacation.

Beach is about a km... few decent restaurants nearby in walkable distance... new year night dinner could be mandatory if you choose Dec 31, but lots of buffet menu for the price and some fun activities too..

About Varca resort would like to place my appreciation of the property with the beautiful ambience, great rooms and hospitality shown by all the staff at the resort. Have dedicated courteous and polite staff at the resort. Overall a very satisfying and delightful experiance.

Very convenient place. We are members from 30 years. We always plan our holidays where there is a Sterling resort. The staff are all very helpful. The food is good. My kids had a great experience at the Sterling Varca spa this time.

I found property beautiful and further long palm trees around it made it scenic, Rooms are commodious and have a beautiful view of pool and the greenery on the other side. Activities like cricket net, shooting and pool for adults and for kids battery operated bike and car options were also available to keep them engaged. Varca beach is 5 minutes drive while Cavollism beach takes only 10 minutes. Staff was very cooperative and supportive. Wide range of options were provided in the breakfast 🥞. So on the whole, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Rooms are decent and clean with ample amenities. Staffs are courteous and polite. We had fun roaming around South Goa and quiet environments around here. It was good to experience the buffet options and breakfast.

The hospitality and rooms are good. We were a little disappointed with the food though. Some of the dishes were prepared really well but some were not upto the mark. It's just 10mins walk away from the beach and the location is really nice and peaceful

This place is pathetic. I visited Goa recently and was told by my travel agent that this is a 'gold crown' resort and I trusted that advice based on Google images of the place. When I arrived to the resort early in the morning I was charged pro rata for the early arrival and gladly paid an exorbitant fee. When I got to my room it was disgraceful and filthy. The toilet was black with dirt and the bed sheets were stained. When I pulled off the sheets the mattress was full of all types of human stains I would rather not speak of. I slept for the night on my own sheets because I was too tired and when I woke up I promptly left the property and demanded for a refund which I received. The senior management were apologetic for this disgusting room. I would never recommend this place to anyone in my life. It is a 3 star at best. Location is terrible too.

We enjoyed the nice, cozy place. We stayed for a week. The location is awesome. Food and amenities are great. Resturant, front desk and house keeping services was very good all through. Mr Shaikh Abdul in the restaurant has been very helpful during our stay.

Service is very pathetic,non sense staff,room service is very poor.i request them to clean room but whole day passed,nobody came to clean room,then next day i went to reception area and talk about room cleaning then the receptionist told me with rude behavior that "you can see so many guest is arrived,we are so busy,will clean the room when staff is free".i think they only have that job to do,but they don't know that it's their duty.we pay lots of money for vacation,for our comfort but such type of resort or hotel will surely spoiled your vacation.

A nice and a pleasant place to stay at in south Goa. The beach is literally 5 minutes from the resort. The rooms are as shown in their website and very clean with swimming pool and bar facilities. The food is amazing. Can have dinner at the shack on the beach or Lido's which is about a 20 minute walk from the resort.

Cheaters in the name of hospitality ,the service department is the wast ppl . manager and the staff not have knowledge how to take care off guest .the room r so durty and bad Wi-Fi . The food is expensive and food is too bad . This is not 3 star resort this must be 1 start resort

The best part of the hotel was its hospitality. Recommended for family stay. I loved this hotel. It was like "home" to all of us. They have very polite and friendly drivers who really take care of their guests. The staff members are extremely sweet and polite. Their smiling faces can make any guest's day. I also took a cycle on rent during my stay at this hotel. The people out there were so good that I never wanted to come back. And, yes, the location of the hotel is simply awesome. It is located near a peaceful and calm beach named Varca, where we used to go every morning and evening. Unlike other beaches, one can experience the real beauty of the sea at Varca as it is hardly crowded. The buffet system is awesome...I would recommend guests to try that.

Totally disappointed with the hotel :- 1. Staff are clueless when you ask them something forget about greeting customers they try to avoid customers. 2. Rooms are shabby and we got a room that has a broken lock. 3. No transparency as when we checked in the check out time was 12 midday and all of the sudden we are asked to leave at 10:00 am Kindly request the hotel to train its staff and improve its room or people have better options nearby……. TBH

Beautiful arrangements n hospitality by sterling resorts. We have enjoyed during 3 days stay in Sterling.

It was last minute decision to go to Regenta. Overall reviews were average but we had good reviews by recent travelers which gave us confidence. For us price came around 4K for 2 nights including taxes. It was pool facing room with decent size and nice balcony. Not sure if swimming pool has temperature regulator but it wasn't cold in morning and kind of really nice. Only request to management to keep it open little late. People like me who are away during day do not get time to spend in pool. I am happy that house keeping staff did change water bottles regularly and it's really appreciated in such hot weather. Just a suggestion, don't sell 10 RS. Amul ice cream for over 200 RS. The cost of the food was little higher, specially like the ice cream, you could have shown a little creativity or given sufficient quantity which doesn't hurt the price. Thanks for the complementary and tasty breakfast by the way. I do recommend other travelers to stay here undoubtedly.

Got good spacious room with a pool view balcony. Check-in to out was nice, good staff but I asked for a lighter/match box at night & they refused to serve it. It’s better to rent a bike/scooter from nearby and roam around Varcca. Beach shacks are in walkable distance, hotel breakfast was yummy.

Nice property with good amenities. Varca Beach is just walking distance away. Great place for family and solo traveller's alike. Children have place area and activity centre. However, they have a ball time in the pool. Location is in Southern Goa, which is very calm and serene, unlike the hustle bustle filled North Goa.

Secluded, nicely located resort in South Goa. Easy accessibility to nearby beach that is less crowded & has privacy. Good food with varieties. Helpful staff. Good accommodation. Nice amenities

Hotel is nice and clean and ofcourse serene. Varca Beach is almost 10 minutes walking distance. Colva local market is nearby. You may take scooty and near hotel you will get everything. Private swimming pool for kids and adults. We went during Christmas so there was Gala dinner organised on 24th Dec night. Little feedback they don't provide sleepers and mat for room. When I asked for sleeper they told they will charge 100 for 1 pair. This was something which gave negative impact on my mind.

Comfortable rooms, delicious food prepared by both chefs, but restaurant shuts by 1030pm which is bit early. Good service by housekeeping staff & Irfan at reception.

The best place to stay at Varca . Notable hospitality round the clock . Rooms & house keeping upto mark . Reasonable breakfast menu . Menace of Taxi stand & those taxi mafia’s but it’s all over south Goa . COVID protocols were followed with immense care .

Don’t judge a book by its cover, goes perfect with this property. Leaving the reception and the restaurant everything else was useless. The rooms and the corridors gives you a dharamshala vibes. The only good thing was the food. They staff at the reception needs to be trained big time.

Nice location. We had a good stay and food was tasty too. Welcome drink was very good and the Varca Beach is extremely closer. Taxi stand is closeby and it is a very good place for relaxation.

Location was very Amazing ... Rooms are nice with lots of facilities... Spacious room with Beautiful view from the windows.. but was missing one thing there was bathing tub ;).. beds were very comfortable. Ambience environment.. services were nice... happy with it. Had a good experience.Staff was very cooperative and helpful and I wanted thank to Mr Saumick Saha, Debanjan.We wanted to stay more but in future I will stay this beautiful resort .And Mr. Surijit kundu GM was attentive and amazing too. Thank you to Regenta Resort to made my stay very comfortable.

Nice and clean rooms, spacious with balcony. Just 1km walkable from the varca beach makes it a great choice at very affordable price. The pool was clean. Recommended for a romantic getaway not for noisy party place for groups. Breakfast spread and dinner was average but good quality food.

Beautiful, clean and spacious rooms with great view. Huge swimming pool surrounded by tall coconut trees. Food is great too but a bit expensive. Breakfast was awesome. Very few pure veg hotels nearby. Staff is great and helpful. Gym and spa services are also available.

Nice comfortable rooms, big and clean swimming pool. Daily evening activities to keep guests engaged. Attentive staff. Elaborate buffet spread with live counter for eggs and Dosa. Varca beach is a 7 minute walk. Overall a very pleasant stay. The only missing thing was the 'wow' factor, if the resort could do something to bring the feel of Goa into the entire experience, it will give it a huge uplift.

The resort was quite clean. Room was very spacious. The staffs were awesome and very courteous. They tried their best to make my stay comfortable. My kids loved to play in the pool. Special thanks to Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Ajay. The food taste could have been better. Overall it was an excellent stay. Will definitely recommend Sterling Varca.
