Update
January
2022:
Blue
Tokai
is
doing
something
special
with
them
bringing
Indian
coffee
to
the
forefront.
Online,
they're
doing
the
job
really
well.
The
coffee
is
well
roasted,
and
is
delivered
even
abroad
with
relative
ease.
Howeer,
I
have
not
seen
that
perfection
in
their
coffee
shops.
Today,
the
computer
system
was
down,
and
we
waited
for
an
extremely
long
time
to
get
our
orders.
The
special
'batch
brew'
listed
in
the
menu
was
not
available
that
day.
The
servers
were
frazzled
and
were
trying
their
best.
I
can't
blame
them
but
it
did
ruin
my
experience.
To
make
things
worse,
the
music
was
absolutely
atrocious!
It
was
very
loud
dance
music-
I
couldn't
ead
or
write
in
peace.
The
baristas
did
lower
volume
but
were
unable
to
change
the
music
because
it
was
central.
Blue
Tokai
really
needs
to
change
the
music
they
play
at
coffee
shops.
The
coffee,
though,
is
still
wonderfully
made.
I
ordered
the
pour
over,
and
the
coffee
was
from
Attikan
estate.
It
was
just
perfect.
I
wonder
how
many
times
I'll
keep
coming
back
just
for
the
coffee
and
tolerate
everything
else
until
I
decide
to
just
make
the
switch
to
another
coffee
shop.
I've
started
looking
for
other
coffee
roasters
in
the
area
already.
I
hope
the
owners
take
note
and
play
better
music
and
improve
on
the
general
ambience
in
addition
to
improving
their
service.

Though
Blue
Tokai
makes
a
perfect
pour
over,
they
don't
serve
French
Press.
I
think
it's
weak
for
a
coffee
shop
that
prides
itself
on
its
coffees
and
coffee
making
techniques
not
serve
something
as
basic
as
a
French
Press.
Multiple
charging
ports
and
free
dependable
wifi
available
which
are
positives.
I
would
want
to
try
some
of
Blue
Tokai's
coffees
that
they
sell
in
their
coffee
shop.
It
will
help
guide
what
I
buy
online.
Also,
there
is
literally
no
social
distancing
at
this
cafe.
They
could
have
easily
seated
people
on
every
other
table
giving
us
enough
space
between
us.

Update
November
2022:
I’ve
been
here
several
times
this
trip
and
the
pour
over
is
consistently
delicious,
well
extracted,
and
balanced.
However,
the
first
time
I
came,
they
took
thirty
minutes
for
my
coffee,
and
it
was
completely
cold
when
it
came
out.
I
sent
it
back
and
they
made
another
one.
They
consistently
take
forever
to
make
a
pour
over.
They
seem
to
be
understaffed.
This
morning,
the
cashier,
who
was
also
stocking
the
bakery
items,
and
was
also
the
only
barista,
didn’t
stop
to
ask
me
what
I
wanted,
and
when
I
did
give
my
order,
he
continued
to
stock
the
bakery
items
until
he
was
done
instead
of
making
my
coffee.
The
music
was
also
too
loud
(at
least
it
was
not
crazy
club
music
this
time)
It
is
such
a
frustrating
experience
here
because
the
coffee
is
good,
but
everything
else
needs
work.
I
have
half
a
mind
of
going
to
the
infinity
mall
Starbucks
which
consistently
delivers
terrible,
burnt
coffee,
but
has
a
great
ambience
and
quick
service.
Blue
Tokai,
get
your
act
together.
It’ll
all
be
over
once
Subko
opens
up
in
the
neighborhood.
