It's very gud place for car lover. It's a place we can see most off the vintage cars. We can see the collection of cars from 1880 from Benz to Morris. Entry fee is 10₹ per person It's in Dharmasthala, close to temple (500mts from temple) Photography is prohibited inside the museum. Even kids too enjoy seeing those cars. And also we can see the cars from different countries from USA to Germany.

Museum with great collection that you cannot miss if you're an enthusiast who would enjoy history and finer things in life! Everything in this museum has a story and history behind it and is maintained very well! Love the way Everything is displayed and portrayed. However photography is not allowed inside and in a way good thing, you can spend good time to observe things. One would need anywhere between 30mins to 4 hours to go through all the items displayed here which totally depends on one's way of viewing. But highly recommend a visit here next time you're in dharmastala. Fee - 20rs per person Distance - 5min walk from the temple

Marvelous experience visiting the museum.. Mind blowing collection of all the categories.. You will find some of the statues of Indian God's and goddess carved in the stone. Then you will also find a statue of god Natraj carved in the Metal. Collection of conch and shell will give you a glimpse of a beautiful nature.. They also displayed jewelry of ancient Mohinjodado sanskriti.. Then you will go on first floor.. Where you will find Scriptorium written on various topics. All the scripts are from ancient era.. It will blow up your mind.. On the same floor there is a armory section.. In that they displayed wooden guns, lot of beautiful swords, you will definitely fall in live with them.. If you continue to the other side you will find musical instruments section... All the beautiful instruments are displayed here.. Then they displayed the projectors, cameras type writers from many years ago... They also displayed Rath... Must plan a visit here.. And it will take more than 3 hour to see and enjoy the beauty of the museum.. I more than happy visiting here... Visit once and took the sweet memories for the life...

A must visit place for car lovers. There are cars from almost all ages Available here. Place is extremely well maintained and the entry fee is just 5rs. Out of all the cars available, 50 cars are running and they are turned on every 15 days. Photography is not allowed inside. As photos are not allowed to be taken inside the premises, it is best to visit the museum to see the cars physically. The collection of cars are maintained wonderfully and a treat for the eyes. One can also couple of horse drawn carriages used by folks for long journeys. Do go with kids to see the smile on their faces, when they see the car's collection.

Rs10/- entry said a board as I reached there.. so thought let's check out this small place... specially after driving 150kms . On entry is a nice Morris Morgan vintage on display just After a sign board that says camera and mobile phones prohibited. Such a shame.. to cheer up I continued the walk and entered in .. a massive layout like a maze.. in and around I walked. . An interesting collection of artifacts on display. (Sea fossils, stoned age material, idol's of worship , manuscripts, musical instruments, paintings, ancient weapons, vintage video cameras/camera/typewriter/calculator/telephones,etc there is alot and beautifully displayed. On exit I picked up a book as a memory.

Manjusha Museum - Dharmasthala D.k ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Manjusha car museum perhaps may be unique in country . There are over fifty, vintage cars here . It appears that they are well maintained and kept in good running condition . Really an appreciating work carried out by them . Besides you can see bullock cart bicycles tangas and even airoplane . The museum is really attractive and you feel overjoyed by moving around and looking several vintage cars like Ford chevrolet mercedes plymouth studbeaker and more . I was overwhelmed seeing this vintage cars. Well painted and a fabulous collection of vintage car antiques. Great to see cars as old from 1850's. Collection also has some toy cars which will be exciting for kids too. Never the less to mention seeing age old Java and yiezde bikes. The effort spend in maintaining such a collection, great work. Manjusha Museum is situated in the holy town of Dharmasthala in Karnataka state, India. It houses a good collection of objects, antiques, paintings, artifacts, temple chariots, vintage and classic cars. These were collected from temples across Karnataka. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, privately owns this heritage museum and houses his collection from over 35 years. P.R.Thippeswamy, a renowned artist and folklorist from Mysore was instrumental in the development of this museum. Some of late Thippeswamy's paintings are prominently displayed in the museum as an honour to him. It was due to the combined effort of these two people that led to the establishment of the museum. Entry fee 5/- and it takes less than half hour to complete the visit. Photography not allowed inside the museum. We will get glimpse of how the motor vehicle transformation was crafted earlier...Starting from Porsche, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and u can name all other makers as well.... One of the best museum. It is renovated and presented beautifully. You can find fossil to scripts and typewriter to musical instruments, swords to household items. Presentation of ornaments are neat and clean. Regular dusting happens for all the items preserved. (Photos are taken unknowingly. Pardon me) There is a entry ticket of Rs. 10.

Very beautiful museum. Limited parking space available. The museum is very big and has large collection of the ancient items. Starting from utensils for cooking, weapons, projectors, furnitures, coins it has even chariots. One can easily spend a day or two if he has to see each and every showcase. But if one has to see each and every items then maybe a month is less. The entrance charge is 10inr and which is very reasonable to pay for this huge collection. However I suggest to make a space outside the museum to leave the footwear and walk-in. The place is maintained very well. When people wear slippers everything gets dirty. Photography is not allowed inside the museum. There are almost 3floors and huge area having the collection of items. I was really surprised and didn't expect the Museum to be that way. Because I had visited this long back at that time it was not that great. But now after renovation things have changed drastically and very beautiful. Kudos to the management for maintenance and collection_/\_

Must visit place of you are in Dharmasthala. Note that this museum is not as small as it looks from outside. After every turn something new opens up and be ready to spend 2-3 hours easily. They have lot of historical items inside to watch and study. I loved the old gen type writers, cameras, guns and swords. It's maintained extremely well and am very happy to see such a place maintained in International standards over there. Camera/ mobile photography is not allowed inside and we can see security constantly reminding visitors to put their phones inside.

I was blown away by what was on display. Antique artefacts from all walks of life and culture that tells a compelling story of the past and how this region of India was a witness to and an integral part of the History. We could only spare 90 minutes. This Museum itself needs more time to take it all in. Was only wondering how much time, effort, and money it must have taken to curate so many pieces of history to create this Museum! Definitely recommend for spending few hours here.

Wasn't expecting this gem of a place in the temple town.. they've an amazing collection of vintage automobiles and beyond: Cars, trucks, chariots, carts etc etc.. all well maintained from aesthetic point of view. You'll find those classic Fords, Fiats, VWs, Chevys, Rolls Royces, Plymouths, Cadillacs, Studebakers, Pontiac (phew!) n more.. Every car has a tale to tell from it's glory past, beyond whatever is written on the labels in front of them and u'll lose the sense of time listening to each. Couldn't take my eyes off the heavy metallic blue Chevy Impala. (Source of all excitement: Never been to a car museum before) Must visit place for the motorheads! Will definitely put that smile 😈 on ur face.
