Good but nowadays drainage water is discharged in this flamingo hot spot, too smelly and dirty.

It is very good place for birders around Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Panvel. Both species of Flamingos as well as other waders can be easily seen and photographed here

This place is a very good place to do some bird watching and click pictures. We went here during flamingo season and the entire area was covered in pink feathers. Such a mesmerizing view but a bit away from the main road. It is also a bit secluded and hardly you will find anyone around. Not a great picnic spot but just a great flamingo spotting or clicking place.

It's beautiful and mesmerizing. Thousands and thousands of Fleming's landing and getting ready for the act. It's pleasing to see these bird's coming in such a large bunch and then start performing as a group

For some reason this year the flamingos skipped this location. They can now be found in plenty in the DPS school lake

Such natural beauty . Flamingos in natural environment. Water level adjusting with high tide and low tide preventing flooding .

The refuge is home to a variety of other birds, including pelicans, cormorants, egrets, and herons. There are also a number of mangrove trees in the area, which provide shelter and food for the birds.
