Village We have heard of this place for the ambience, the way the place manifest the idea of a village - soul of India in a City life. Loved the whole concept of pulling of little elements of village in a such a small place. Coming to the food as we attend a family event we had buffet system. We had - Hara Bhara Kebab - Basic Indian starter served with mint chutney. It was crunchy and flavorful. Pav Bhaji - The seasoning, zest of bhaji was nice but on the other hand we didn't like the pav served it was not fresh and hard to bend into piece. Disappointed with Pav alot. Dal Batti - One of the famous Rajasthani cuisine was also served. I really wanted to taste as I never tasted one before. But somehow I didn't like it. The flavors, aroma etc were not accepted by my taste buds as I don't eat it that often. People might like it. It was my personal opinion. Plus had some soda and salad. __ Follow @we.eat.everything.delicious on *Instagram* and Follow We Eat Everything Delicious on *Zomato* for more yum content.

Overall i rate this place three star. Food was below average. Unlike restaurants in this place kids can play and family can have family time. Large area with space to move around and music for parties, dance etc is main attractions of place. Before today I had visited this place more than 10 years back and good to know it is still surviving. Music played will depend upon groups present but you can ask to play your play list. I think they should add more varieties of food and have more live counters. As we had kids less than 5 years and group of 12+ it was fun filled evening. Food they serve is combination of Rajasthani - Gujarati, South Indian and Mumbai Street food. Dal bati, Guajarti Kadi, starters, aalo bhaji, paneer vegetable, Farshan, Salad, Papad, Chole, Pav Bhaji, Dosa, Sambhar, Pani Puri, Chat, Khichia Papad, Goti Soda, Jalebi, Gulam Jamun, Icecream, Softy, Moong Halwa, Til Laddu etc.

I visited here with my family for lunch and we were mesmerized by the ambience of this place !! It will give you a feeling of actually a village with a big banyan tree in the centre of the restaurant. The set up of the restaurant is at par with village theme. Food was awesome. It is veg restaurant and serves scrumptious food !! Definately visit this place to explore veg delicacies with awesome ambience!!❤️

As the name suggests, it's a village themed restaurant. There are different setting of seats. You can choose any place, if it is not already reserved. There is an entry fee. Adults have to take full tickets, kids half ticket and then very small ones are free. Once you enter, everything is free except a few things: (1) Pan (2) Photo booth. Here, you have to pay for each item you pick to click picture. Camera will be yours with their props. Wigs, caps and glasses are available. A good place to hangout with family and friends. It starts from 7 pm and ends at 11 pm. You have four hours to sit, relax and eat. Timing is not fixed to enter or leave, you can join later and/or leave early. There is a wide variety of food available. South Indian, Chinese, Rajasthani, Punjabi, Street Food, Deserts... Some things are really good but otherwise it's average food. It's a self service but the helpers take utmost care of you and bring food at your table. Entertainment wise, it is good. Kids love it here. There is horse dancing. First, they do it themselves and then they asks guest to volunteer. They have dandiya sticks for guest to enjoy rounds of dandiya..Puppet show is there for kids. All in all it's a good place.

I felt that i was transported to the breath taking place in an instant and felt greater sense of connect with the food. The comfort played a vital role during my visit. The hospitality of the restaurant was impeccable. Walking into a restaurant full of space makes you feel good. The sitting arrangement was contented, perfectly adjusted lights created a certain mood. It is truly the soul of India. It is an inimitable buffet experience with a spread of enjoyable traditional Indian dishes. The dishes are encouraged by different provinces of Indian states, the mood changes for every section they have. It serves Rajasthani, Punjabi, Gujarathi, South Indian and Chinese. They have number of live counters, you cannot miss the Bombay chaat, pav bhaji, dosa, etc. And here comes the best part – They have got dhol, bhangra, garba, puppet shows, games and loads of fun for your group of friends or your entire family. We were thrilled with the experience; my brother enjoyed it a lot. This place is not for the people who are looking for a fine dine experience. It’s a party place but with vegetarian food and no alcohol but trust me I enjoyed it alot. Kudos to the lovely and smiling staff. They made sure to give a comfortable experience by their sense of humour and great hospitality. Below are the different counters we experienced: 1) Theka – Served famous bottled soda’s also known as goti soda (kala khatta, orange, masala), Buttermilk, Nimu pani. 2) Rasoi ki shaan – Served Paneer Laziz, Jodhpuri Aloo, Veg handi biryani, dal tadka, khumbh do pyaza. 3) Papad, salad and shorba counter – Loved this section, inclusions were khichiyan papad, udad papadkhakra, different maharashtrian papads too, papad churi, makkai sweet and sour, sabz ka shorba, moong ankur chaat, chana aloo, crispy makkai hakk style, tandoori soya chaap 4) Chinese – Fried rice, Manchurian, hakka noddles. 5) Anna ka tawa – Dosa (Sada/Masala/Cheese), Sambhar, Mulga pudi daliya 6) Bachpan ki yadein – Pop corn, candy floss. 7) Mai ka pasta – Butter paneer pasta, Malay curry. 8) Roti – Tandoori, missi, Paratha – lacha, naan – garlic. 9) Meetha – Halwa, Rasgulla, Kulfi, brownie. My favourites from the place – Honey chilli potatoes, makkai sweet and sour, Mirchi, Biryani, Dal Tadka, Naan, Rasgulla, Masala Raita, Buttermilk, Paneer laziz. A must visit. Happy eating : )

The staff was really well trained and friendly. They assisted well. This place is poket friendly as it consist of unlimited food under ₹650per person with a vast menu to try. I had been to Village-The soul of India on a lazy afternoon with my bunch of people. Being located quite close to the vashi station on the top floor of raghuleela mall, visiting this place is very convenient. As soon as you enter the place, there's a lady who applies 'tika'. The staff over here are very well dressed and the place gives you a rural feeling in town. There are various instruments available near the tree which is situated in the middle of this place and also hanging on the walls. There is an attractive white coloured cycle hanging on the ceiling. It also had various counters associated with unique names serving different dishes. The ambiance is done very well to convert this place to something that actually feels like a village! Theka- It had My Favourite Goti soda. It was available in orange and jaljeera. Theka also served chas. Rasoi Ki Shaan- It included various indian main course items like jodhpuri aloo, khumbh do pyaza, meethi mutter malai, paneer laziz and biryani. All of them had amazing spices in them! Anna ka tawa- It served variety of dosas like sada dosa, cheese dosa and masala dosa. Coconut chutney, tomato chutney, sambhar, murabba, mulga pudi, mirchi went very well with all the dosas. Besides theka there was a counter names 'bachpan ki yadeen' which served 'buddhi ke baal' (candy floss) and popcorns which brought back all the childhood memories! Also there's very gentle person serving around makkai sweet and sour, honey chilli potatoes with great enthusiasm! In the mean while there was a dance performance by the staff and they also insisted us to dance alongside. Their choice of music was damn good! There were various items in the desserts menu as well. The menu was long enough to fill your dish even if you took one piece each. It included balu shahi tukda, phirni, phinni, sheer khurma, kandi malai kulfi, kandi rose kulfi,Rasgulla , jalebi♥️ This place is a must visit especially for vegetarians! I'm coming back here very soon.

Visited this place second time this time on a Friday for dinner. Last time we visited this place there were serving both Veg and non veg . Now it serves only a vegetarian food . The interior has changed a lot . But that's the only thing decent about it . Food tast was below par , none of the items we're good. Starters ,main course , Sweets all of them were equally bar. Staff were busy in engaging the customers in the group dance and other activities like musical chairs , Dandiya and Garba. decent ambiance and other engaging features can't hide the short comings of food. It's bad and I am not planning to revisit this place anytime soon.

Nice place to plan a farewell/freshers party for school and colleges. Environment is good. Food is average. Ambience is good and music is average unless you provide your own play list! (You can ask them to play your own playlist). The food served is so authentic and delicious that you would not even like to take it in the plate and if you have taken it then it is the challenge that you don't dump it in the dustbin a very honest review they should shut it right now such a bad and rude staff and discover something new in the food good luck guys.
