Very unprofessional and unhygienic. This kitchen is operated by a single family and all of them are not friendly, None of them has any realization that they are doing anything wrong, All the owners start treating every customer as if they are eating for free. Their mindset can be clearly seen that they are favoring their customers and society by doing this business. While cooking, the old lady frequently itches her hair and cleans her runny nose, She cooks with the same hand without washing it, and sometimes the old lady's hair is found in the paratha (non of them use a cap as well). If there is no customer, the old lady and the old man start eating together, and suddenly if any customer comes, the lady starts cooking with the false hand (without washing it). They serve in a small size cheap disposal plate, where there is no place to put the chutney, and it is very inconvenient to eat on it, They do not provide even a separate paper cup for chutney, and some of their customers start eating from the main chutney bowl and take the spoon (provided to pour the chutney) inside the mouth, as the hotel doesn't provide any separate spoon, all the customer coming later have to take from the false bowl of chutney and false spoon. Their chutney is stale and its bowl is very dirty (can be seen clearly) They do not provide a spoon if you don't buy curd from them, the curd is not complementary and they charge separately for it. Here paratha cutter is common for all which lies down on a dirty mate, sometimes it falls down to the ground and you have to cut your paratha with the same cutter, you have to use the used one only, dirt can be clearly seen on it. Neither do they clean nor do they make their waiter clean the table or table mate (On which to eat food, you have to eat at the unhygienic, dirty table and table mate), nor do they make their waiter put away plates, they all start instructing customers simultaneously, where to place the plate and how it to segregate from a spoon. Not only the old couple but their son and daughter-in-law are running the hotel and they feel shame about putting away the plates and cleaning the table or table mate, they are comfortable with people eating in a dirty and unhygienic place. They should have some arrangements for it. They have not made any arrangements for drinking water, one is bound to buy a water bottle. my observation: It is a student predominant area and it is a compulsion for veg. students to buy food from this family, as the other two vegs. food joints in this area are surrounded by non-veg hotels only, customer should mention their review, as customer reviews are helpful for new customers and open the eyes of the owners as well. I pray FSSAI, to have a check on their workplace.

Had Aloo methi paratha and paneer paratha but I was surprised to see that curd( dahi) was not complementary and they charged separately for it. Stuffing was good and taste of paneer paretha was better than methi ! Also, Owner should learn how to behave with senior chef at least in front of customers. Shouting doesn't help!!!

Kharghar is a place full of delicacies and we were lucky enough to locate the yummiest parathas in the town. Located close to Utsav Chowk this place has been serving its customers since last 6 years and been popular amongst the students living in nearby hostels. The place is run by a 70 year old couple and family. Salute to Daadi has got great skills to cook amazing parathas at great speed. She is great in multi tasking, cooking 3 parathas at a time. They do charge extra for butter curd but the complimentary green chutney also tastes amazing, might be spicy for some. Small place with limited seating but great on taste. We went for 2 parathas and ended up eating 4 which was completely worth. Try Methi Paneer and the evergreen Aloo Paratha. Highly recommended if you are craving for homemade parathas at less price, giving you a homely feel. Food: 5/5 Location: 4/5 Staff: 5/5 Ambience: 3/5 Price: 5/5

Food served with love is the best in the world. This small Dhaba or simply Paratha House, has one of the best parathas which one can find in the vicinity. The business is run by an old Uncle and Aunt. This place is always crowded with the students of near by PGs and Hostels. Waiting time is quite high. Which itself indicates the popularity of the Paratha House. Parathas were good and remembered me orignal Paratha taste which I had first in Delhi. Menu is limited to Alloo, Gobhi, Paneer etc. Must get a try on their parathas.

Love the homely Parathas served here. The place is run by an elderly punjabi couple in a modest setup. The elderly aunty toils away in an open tava while the patrons hog on hot parathas seated on plastic chairs and tables at the entrance. The place is always full thanks to the pocket friendly delicious meals served here. The simplicity of the place cannot take away anything from the food prepared with heart and soul by the elderly couple. Whenever you are craving for authentic Punjabi parathas in Navi Mumbai do visit this wonderful dhaba. No specific recommendations, all the parathas I have tried here are delicious.

Family run place.. The son & wife manage customers, the mother is the cook & the father helps around as much as he can..Typical college student restaurant.. Don't expect anything fancy except a yummy & hearty meal at dirt cheap prices. And to top it off you can't help but leave inspired after you see how the family runs the place. Must visit & it's now a favourite of my family.

Used to visit HK Paratha house a lot back in the day when they were located at Kopar khairane sometime from 2007 to 2012. I remember it to be extremely pocket friendly & a popular place for students. Now they've shifted to Kharghar, catering to their main TG - students yet again. Same old aunty makes very tasty parathas to this day. 2-3 parathas are usually sufficient to fill your belly and won't burn your pockets - typically the bill would be under ₹200 for 1 person. Though this place is usually jam-packed in the evenings, there are a few shortcomings - longer wait times, poor hygiene at the tables and a very relaxed service. But all that can be overlooked/forgotten to an extent once you get your parathas on the paper plate. The only food related change that I would like to see implemented is that I hope they serve Amul butter cubes again instead of margarine. And lastly, please remember to dispose the plates yourself. A little self-service at the end never hurt anyone. You would (& should) do the same at home too :-)

" Grandma's Paratha " they should have named it this way. What an amazing, soulful parathas I had in my life. Wherever I eat Paratha, I'm going to get reminded of the HK parathas only. I don't think I can get better parathas anywhere else in this world. Thank you grandma and grandpa. Wishing you both a long, happy and healthy life together. Would love to eat more parathas from here.

Ajji's paratha are the best paratha i have had till date. I'm very picky with food, and more picky with the food reviews, but the paratha she make are the tastiest of a lot. I have been eating there from past two years. All through the covid period, the taste and make never changed. Feels like having more and more.

"Parathas served with love and chutney" It's fabulous. The shop is run by old age Punjabi couple with one helper. One will get Authentic Punjabi taste in every bite of Paratha. Auntyji has introduced Chinese flavour of parathas as well along with regular aloo, muli, Gobi, pyaj paratha. One needs to order additional butter/dahi/Chass with the Paratha. However, complimentary chutney is given with all partha. The shop is popular among student community staying near by. Parathas are served hot so going there in a big group may not be advisable since serving will be bit slow due to constraints. The adjoining road too is small so not suitable for 4 wheeler parking. One need to park car bit away depending upon visiting hours. To conclude food is homely yet tastes delicious and is budget friendly.
