The Great Indian Khichdi Festival, Good Punjabi food! Hello @Neel We absolutely loved this place as the food taste and quality is standard . I love the Mahalaxmi outlet for its beautiful decor and being by the racecourse . The Powai outlet is more like an all day place with modern ambience and gives you best of both worlds - Indigo Deli and Neel. You can order from what you like. We were craving for good punjabi food . Cost would be β‚Ή2000 for two. What did we order ? For starters , we ordered : Nadru Ki Shami Kebab β‚Ή415 Lotus stem and Bengal gram patty, cooked on an iron giddle Absolutely succulent and delicious . We loved their Khichdi . It is absolutely a Bowlful of soul ! Rediscover regional khichdi and what not. There was more than our imagination. There was from Kathiyawadi Khichdi to Maharastrian khichdi to Bisi Belle Bhaath to Kolumbichi Khichdi to Karnataka to Bajre ki Khichdi . We tried Pahadi Khichdi β‚Ή400 Unpolished short grain rice cooked with red kidney beans Served with roasted papad, onion curd, red pumpkin raita, butter milk, mustard chutney . We found it really wholesome and devoured on it. Bihari Khichdi β‚Ή400 Kolam rice with yellow moong lentil cooked with cumin seed, ginger and garlic paste Served with aloo bhujiya, aloo ka chokha, black lentil papad and lauki ka raita . This was again a different taste . I liked the way there were all elements present and was wholesome . Let’s come to the main course : For vegetables we called for : Khade Masale Ka Paneer 525 Grilled cottage cheese with coarsely crushed Lahori spices . It was on the spicier side yet yummy . Dal Tadkewali Dal β‚Ή245 Toor Dal tempered with onions . The DAL WAS OUTSTANDING. (It needed that emphasis) Roti β‚Ή60 Now let’s come to our favourite bit : DESSERTS Rasmalai- β‚Ή165 We loved the creaminess. It was so smooth and delectable. The subtle taste of saffron went perfectly. Jalebi - β‚Ή145 Jalebi was an absolute worth. Try it with rabdi. It is so good. Have it hot! Chef vijay has done a good job. Coming to the staff: The staff was not around much. Overall we had a fabulous meal over some good Khichdi and Indian food

Very nice open dining area restaurant. Large selection of Western and Indian dishes all of which (the party I was with) enjoyed. Onion rings, chicken wings, pizza, seafood platter, curry, fish, chicken, lamb and desert. Don't pass up on the whiskey ice cream!

Quite a quaint restaurant with lovely tasting food. The pizza is the thinnest crust ever seen - which is what Indigo is famous for but that thin pizza is deceptively filling. Hence one tends to over order. Will return again to explore the Neel menu

Part of the chain of Indigo Deli and the Indian counterpart restaurant. Some decent good - some Indian with a twist but not necessarily too spectacular. Good place to visit if some of the folks want Indian and some continental.

Great service and mains (black dal deserves a shout out). The starters we tried, both tikkis, were a little bland. They had a great selection of breads, some of them like the khamiri roti leavened with yoghurt.

Extremely Expensive. Not worth the money. Had a bad stomach next day. I had the below items, 1. Samosa curry 2. Khadey masale ka paneer 3. Butter Roti Rs. 225 ka Rice?? Aur Rs. 235 ka dal tadka?? Bhai 500 rupye me pura 5 kilo dal rice ek mahina chalega usme ghee dal k. Not so impressed. Also this is my opinion this may not be in agreement with the others.

For a biryani fan like me I was disappointed. Their packaging is very good and fancy but more than the look taste matters which went missing. I wasn't clear whether it was a chicken biryani or a pulao because it didn't taste like a biryani to me.

I tried Afghani murg biryani half which costed 195 rupees. Packing of food was nice and delivery reached on time. Biryani was little dry which is not the way how I like it. Could have more masala and taste too.

This is a restaurant which has common seating area for Neel and Indigo Deli and the menu is common with different sections for each restaurant. This is not clear when looking up the place online. I had food from Neel section which is Indian cuisine. I had Lucknowi galauti kebab, chicken tikka in the starters ; the starters were very well made and a must have. In the main course, the rawas curry was very good. Belgian chocolate ice cream was a superb end to the meal.

Was here for a team lunch. Service is not prompt. Food was just okay, nothing special. We ordered thin crust pizzas, and ALL were soggy. Management and kitchen staff were not even ready to acknowledge the issue with the food.

A great place! The ambience is nice and peaceful, they serve good food which is really appealing to the eyes :p , they have a wide range of wine collection as well (for wine lovers) and they also serve a wide range of cocktails and mocktails. A perfect place for a family outing. They also offer reservations for parties.

Super nice and cosy place for a meal out. The food was amazing and the service exceptional. Not sure if that (service) was because it was not too crowded being a working Monday nevertheless the staff was very courteous and ready to help you. We had a wide variety of food over three courses from dal khichdi to roganjosh and some chef's special biryani. The standout items for me were the prawns starter (don't remember the name) but it was made in a white sauce and was by far the best prawns dish that I have had. The mutton roganjosh was good as well and being a kashmiri would say this is the closest to the real roganjosh that I have had in a restaurant though still not 100% of a Kashmiri house cooked roganjosh but would say was 80% there (all comparisons for restaurants outside of Kashmir as I have never been there). The image is of the chicken Biryani which was good for 4 people
