Wow this place is really good. I really liked it. It's my second visit to this place and food here is excellent and tastes so good. It's ambience and artistic walls are lovely. You can get good beer here.and I have tried pasta and chicken burger which are fine.and service is also good but the place is bit congested and its 1931 café that's good to know but its ambience makes it modern cafe

Always love to come here. It's always buzzing with guest anytime you visit. The ambience is so old school and classy, a perfect set up of an Irani cafe. The typical menu lying on the table inside the glass top. They have a jukebox as well. We had Chinese food, the taste was good, portion size was good as well. You can expect quick and courteous service always. As usual this trip to Cafe Mondegar was as satisfying as it was always. Thanks will keep visiting again

I really miss you a lot.. since so many people had already added many good pictures of this cafe I'm not adding anything.. it's a perfect shop at a perfect place.. since it was raining too much was not able to shop much.. but had good food here and satisfied.. there are a few shops there to eat shop, shop eat.. but this one is really good as we don't feel like eating heavy Indian cuisine when we want to shop around and want some lite food

This is an iconic place with a lovely ambience and trendy crowd. It's like a no frills cafe for beer and wine lovers. They don't serve hard drinks. The food is not something to die for. It's better to reach this place early to get a table. This is strictly for beer and wine lovers at a reasonable price.

Maybe I got the wrong dish, because I thought the food was pretty bland and only OK (I got the “A.T.M.,” or All Time Meal, which is just a bunch of veggies smothered in cream sauce over white basmati rice). But the ambiance was terrific, and I was able to get a seat (party of one) immediately despite arriving at what would otherwise be peak dinner time, around 7pm/8pm (on a Friday night). The restaurant is *very* international-friendly and draws a tourist crowd because of its history. Lesson: Do your research on the best dishes beforehand and you’ll likely have a great time!

Some places are legendary... And they leave a mark on you. Cafe Mondegar is one such place and I was lucky enough to be able to dine here on a hot summer afternoon As always the place was packed and we had to wait for 20 min but the food was so worthwhile that the time did not matter. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara twice .. let me say that "twice " so u can imagine how good it was along with which we also ordered the chicken strogonoff and the fish steak all accompanied with multiple orders of fresh watermelon juices and beer. The atmosphere this place has is bewildering, how to people manage to wait out in the hot sun just to be able to get to eat here .. it's all in the generous and courteous staff .. they make it happen and make you feel extremely welcome.

A great place with great ambience. Had a Veg Hakka Noodles, Beef Steak Burger, Beef Supremo and Fillet fish Mexicana and a beer pitcher and it was amazing. The only reason for 4 star is the place is a bit cramped for my taste. Added bonus for me was there was an adorable cat near the entrance.

It is one of the must go places in Mumbai and we thought of giving it a try. The place is mostly crowded, we have to make reservations and wait for the given time. A place with beautiful art work on the walls as well as on the cutlery.They serve alcohol too. Food here is amazing and delicious and above its inexpensive which makes it a great deal the service here is average and okay with a cozy sitting, we ordered Amalfi, Brochette de legumes, Fungi con cream (pasta), Vegetarian cheese burger and Mixed veg corn cheese pizza which was scrumptious. They also serveIn all -A must visit place.

Cafe Mondegar is like an institution in Colaba. It serves up pretty decent Indian, Chinese and Continental food. It's always full and sometimes hard to get a table. Seating is like an old Irani cafe and quite packed. It can get quote noisy so if you are looking for a quiet dinner this is not the place for you. The food is good but I think if you want Continental food there are far better options now.

One of the well known places from Mumbai, this place is definitely worth the hype. Staff is a delight and their food is fabulous. . We had the spaghetti carbonara with bacon, it was outstanding. Next we had their steak, which again was absolutely beautiful. Their fish was about okay but pair that up with a beer and everything is fine😋. . Taste-4.5/5 VFM- 4/5 Staff-4/5 . Great place you have to be lucky to get a seat...there ...Drinks were awesome so was the price keeping in view the location and the crowd. Food price and taste was awesome. A very nice relaxing and quaint place in middle of the city humdrum. Loved the cartoon theme on the wall, ambience is great and so is the food. They serve wine and alcohol as well, and has a very well kept washroom.

It is one of the oldest place in Mumbai. A small cozy place in the heart of the city and it was full to its brim. But everyone was happy talking to each other having their drinks and food. What I found unique here was the happiness and happy faces inside the cafe. The food was just okay but the staffs were good. Music was on demand and had to be bought if it was to be played. Overall a must visit place according to me.
