Had chicken biryani . It was amazing! Perfect taste, perfect moist and good portion size for 1 person. Also the sweet dish "zafrani pudding" was also awesome taste! Nice clean place. Lot of place for parking. Place recommended for family dinners.

Serving delicacies since 1942 having variety of Mughlai and Chinese dishes. Had our dawat with a beautiful royal ambiance. The upper floor is designed for huge parties and events. They also accept wedding and birthday party orders. The food served is totally worth it and a must try place 😍 We had :- Abbro kebab Chicken cheesy roast (heaven for cheese and chicken lovers 🤤) Greek kebab Pesto prawns Mutton turki chaap (felt a bit uncooked) Chicken Dum Biryani (tastiest Biryani this restaurant traditionally used to serve) Ended the night with some gulabjamun custard and mango pudding 😋

Food is good ambience is also good. They should have electricity backup because it was really difficult to Sit and eat I had a very bad experience. I want the owner Mr rajish to hear and kindly work on it..

Biryani still taste awesome…they serves oldest briyani in Taloja. Their Raita taste as awesome…with mint and curd. New renovated ambience is really good. Quantity is limit to one person. Starter you can try garlic chicken one hard to beat. They are still famous taloja biryani…

I visited this place because I heard it's very popular for biryani. The restaurant has changed a lot and the menu was a bit pricey but the food was worth it. Quantity was also good. The taste and service was really good. Biryani was awesome. It's a must visit place if you are a biryani fan.

Its well known and oldest place for its biryani.. ita exactly at Taloja highway have good amount of parking.. ambience is good.. have huge sitting area at ground and first floor. We order chicken kalimiri kabab, chicken Dum biryani and carmel custard... After long search found perfect dum biryani in navi mumbai.. it was so flavourful. Onion was perfectly caramelized, we could see saffron, cashew, rasin in it.. Chicken was soft and tendor.. not to spicy and not bland.. perfect masala too... Kabab was good. Caramel custard is good.. but it was lil dry... Worth trying this place for Biryani.

Chicken dum biryani is a must try as that’s what made this hotel so popular . Probably one of the best I ever had. Rest of the dishes including sweet dishes are pretty different then what you would find in other places. A visit was surely worth the hype my father created as he has been visiting here since ages when it was just a hut as shown in the picture.

I always enjoy eating at a restaurant, probably because it means I do not have to cook! My mother always told me that it is much more healthier for me to have a meal at home. I actually like cooking, but sometimes it wastes a lot of time, because of my busy study. When the wonderful time comes to go , my first favorite place is the National Restaurant. It is undeniable that National is the best restaurant. I am so happy to introduce it. It is located near Taloja Gaon , I visit this restaurant 5 to 6 times per month. The first time when I visited, I instantly felt the great welcome and smelled the delicious food. It has beautiful decor and looks very fashionable. It has a whole wall made by glass so that sunlight could stream in the room. In addition, sofas replaced chairs so that we can sit very comfortable. To our satisfaction, they have a lot kinds of food supplied to us. Everyone can find the favorite food here. It also provides good services and waiters are kind hearted, they always keep smiling and ask me whether everything is ok when I am eating. Each time when I go to this restaurant, I would like to take pictures of the food, It looks silly, but I just love how the food looks like. As an added bonus, it provides carryout service,and the order always arrive in a short time. I do like this restaurant,Do you want to have a try?

One of the best restaurants near Taloja and it's on the highway only. The restaurant serves veg. and non veg food with varieties of Biryani, Chinese/Tandoor starters and Punjabi/Mughlai food. We tried Chicken Tikka Biryani, Veg. Biryani and Paneer Chilli as starters. Food was delicious. Also, the quantity was good. You must try various biryani and non veg starters. Here the staff is also very friendly and they will suggest the right dishes based on your choice. Overall : must recommend

We ended up at National Restaurant unplanned. This place has been visited by my parents for celebrating certain occasions almost some 30yrs back. I have to say that the food here in terms of quality, quantity and price is splendid !! The staff is courteous & friendly. We went on a weekday around 10.30/11pm & had a really quick service. Unfortunately they were out of Fish that day, so we couldn't order fish fingers. They were also out of Mango mojito. *Prawns koliwada - 5/5 * Prawns thai butter garlic 5/5 * Paneer Chilli 5/5 * Chicken Angara 5/5 * Ajwain naan with butter 5/5 * Wheat tandoori plaine 3.5/5 * Rumali roti 5/5 * Virgin mojito 5/5 * Sweet lime soda 5/5 * Mutton dum biryani 5+/5 * Shahi zaffrani Pudding 5+/5 They were out of mango muhlabia and all other desserts & luckily we ended up having the shahi zaffrani Pudding becz it ws huge and super delicious !! Rich ye not to sweet or heavy !! We really wanted to try more dishes but saving those for future visits !! Mutton dum biryani was soo good - minimal masala, the rice for soft & fluffy & the mutton was melt in mouth. I am not exaggerating,the food here is actually delicious and way better than all the other typical hotels serving similar menu. The seating is very spacious, ambience the lighting everything is great. The washrooms were also very clean. You could go with family, friends or couple. It's a nice place to celebrate with a bunch friends or family if you are looking for top notch food. Do try it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed !!!!

The place has a good ambience. There is a wait for the ac area, but one can get seats available for non ac seating without waiting. The food is really good. The taste was great and very unique. I would rate it as the best restaurant in the area for taste. Must try chicken irani boti and chicken abro kebab. It is famous for its biryani. One must really try out their boti and kebab section, which is delicious. The quantity is good. The food seems to be a bit pricey but worth the taste. Must visit! One can make reservations to skip waiting.

The place is quite good, I got parking easily, location wise very good. The ambience is very nice. Non veg Starters I tried and found very delicious. The price of starters and soup are a little bit higher. In main course I ordered Chiken dum biryani, it was just ok ok. Overall a good experience.

People have different tastes and I like my biryani non-sweet and non- overloaded with dry fruits which the shahi dum biryani wasn't. The dal khichdi was better at the restaurant famous for biryanis. The starters were really nice though

It's an 70 plus year old hotel. Total make over 4 years ago. It was famous for its Biryani, but now they serve everything. Very good taste, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ample parking space. Surely visit many times.

this restaurant has been up and running since 1942, it's been here for so long and loved for so long because of the genuinely good food they serve. every single thing we've ever had there has had such an incredibly rich taste to it, absolutely delicious. the quality is the best, you can not ask for better. there's nothing there i wouldn't recommend. the restaurant too has a great vibe and looks immaculate. 10/10 would recommend. :))))

Having visited the place after almost 30 years, it would be unfair to say that the taste was same what I had back then. What pleasantly surprised me is that not only the whole of Talojaa area in Navi Mumbai has grown but also famous biryani center which at one point in time had a roof of cement sheets, was now a proper two-story structure and had air conditioned interiors with a new nonsense service. As expected, the biryani was served in the shortest possible time. It was decent. The portions were huge and amazing value for money. Did not have the hunger to try desserts as their forbidden for me else would have reviewed that as well. I would still say instead of eating at any of other highway joints Taloja biryani is still a good stop to have when you're on your way to Pune, especially from Kalyan or Dombivli

The food is really amazing. Other Dhabas and restaurants just have hype because of the ambience. But the food of National is really good. Butter Garlic Naan is just filled with Garlic, biryani and Chinese too are delicious. Must try restaurant for Biryani and other food. On my weekend list.
