This is the Perfect place for vegetarians. There is no doubt about taste and quality. You will surely visit again and again, must visit with family, friend and so on. 1) There is always 15-20 minutes waiting. 2) There is no specific parking spot but they offer valet parking. 3) Very nice ambience and seating arrangement. 4) Food taste is great. you have to wait for some time to get your order and service is bit slow now days. Which should be improve. 5) This is bit expensive so per person costing is around 500 to 600 rupees for full meal. 6) Must try Shev bhaji, Butter Chapati and Chans 7) Must try place.

Had visited HoBT last month for a team lunch. On entering through the big doors, there's a cafe style outdoor section and beyond that is an air-conditioned indoor section. Being a large group we had no choice but to be seated indoors. They have taken great care to provide ample lighting which complements the decor. Definitely a 5/5 for ambience. We had ordered a lot of which I cannot recollect now. Some of the orders that I remember are, Papad Churi - a basic at any BT. Tastes great anytime. Chaas - Full marks for presentation. Buttermilk in a beer bottle. Who'd have imagined the versatility a bottle of KF holds. 😂 Manchow soup - The usual. Nothing great to say about it. Cream of mushroom soup - I didn't try it. But my colleagues who did had mentioned that there was a lot of cream. And that it tasted different. Not the likeable kind. Paneer chilly dry - Oh yes. This was made to perfection. Would definitely recommend. Cheese corn tikki - Two of my favorites in one combo. I loved it. Fresh lime soda ( sweet ) - Was made according to my instructions ( to keep it on the sweeter side ). They obliged. I like that. Veg. Kolhapuri and Paneer makhanwala - One on the spicier side and another on the mild/sweet side. Made well. We polished this off with roti/butter roti/butter naan. As I mentioned earlier, I have missed out some of our orders. I can't seem to recollect. Having said that, we were full and skipped out on dessert. Prices are on the steeper side but the experience comes at a cost. And I'd be happy to pay for it. Cheers!

Its a different ambience compared to other Bhagat Tarachand outlets, upscale and modern. It has 2 sections, outdoor which is cozy and inside which is more formal. Food (Veg) was great. Have been here thrice and not disappointed. Parking will be taken care of by valet

This is my Second visit here. And the hotel didnt fail to amaze me. Even though there is a full course A-la-carte option provided, my choice is fixed when it comes to this place: Special Thali This place provides by far the best thali for as affordable as 370 INR. The dishes include: 3 super soft, super tasty chapathis (cooked in ghee), one paneer sabji, one veg sabji, dal tadka with fried onion garnish (adds to the awesome taste), one small bowl of white rice or pulav, one pappad, one vegetable raita and gulab jamun for dessert. The sabji options include Chana Masala, Aloo Methi, Aloo Mutter, Baingan Bharta etc. I have tried it all (We went in groups and each of us ordered a different sabji). You will not have any complaints on any of them. You can also try their Chaas. It is a must-order item here. That will complete the awesome meal you just had.. Definitely visiting this place again. Hope they remain the same forever Edit 2022 April: Wanted to visit this restaurant again. Unfortunately, this location is closed now

Most of us are familiar with the Bhagat Tarachand outlets in food courts of all major malls but to have a stand alone full fledged restaurant was a good news indeed for all those who love their food. The restaurant opened last year in the Panchpakhadi area which is one of the main food hubs of the City and has a sizable all veg eating populace. The place is quite big with an inner and outer area both of which have AC and good seating arrangements. The interiors n ambiance of the inner area is especially lively n colorful. The menu is comprehensive with all the pure veg items one can imagine especially from the Gujarat and Rajasthan states and other Northern delicacies. Starters: Khicha: this is a fun thing to start with and should be tried at least once. Its has a crunchy dry Bajra/Jowar base topped with namkeens, onions, tomatoes and chaat masala. Veg Seekh Kebabs: a must have dish ! Finely minced mixed veggies with tandoori masala slow roasted in the clay oven. Served with green mint Chutney and salad , it was very delicious. Paneer Rolls: easily the weakest dish that we had ! Soft cottage cheese cubes rolled in fine flour wraps layered with some masala. This one can be avoided. Mix Veg Lollipop: this has a minced mix Veggies finger to which is attached a fried bread stick. The lollipop has a nice blend of Chinese sauces, good taste n crunchy texture. Mains: Normal Thali: this has options of two sabzi, Dal, fresh yogurt, papad, wheat roti, steamed rice and roshogulla. Very satisfying in terms of quality n taste. Special Thali: this has options of three variety sabzi and a Paneer dish, Dal tadka, mix raita, papad, ghee roti, veg pulav and Gulab jamun. This is definitely better than the normal thali as some of the items like Paneer, Dal and the warm juicy gulab jamun were mind blowing ! Aloo Paratha: this has four cut pieces of a nice soft fat paratha ! Served with butter and fresh yogurt. The portion size is quite big. Ask for the Chaas or butter milk along with the meal. The rest of the menu also has some interesting items which are worth trying. The service is strictly ok, can get very slow especially on weekends or holidays but hopefully they will improve on that aspect. Overall it’s good to have a Bhagat Tarachand Restaurant in the City which makes the competition even tougher for the already crowded food scene especially in the pure veg segment.

Awesome food. One of the oldest name in serving tasty food since many years, originally from south Bombay market. Serves punjabi dishes with a sindhi taste. Must have buttermilk ( Kutchi beer) and Sev Tameta.

So Bhagat Tarachand happened to finally come up in Thane - Panchpakhadi. Had visited its other outlets in CST and vashi so expectations were huge, but sadly it could not match up to that level. Main course was tasty, but when you order a paratha remember to tell him to prepare it in tawa and not tandoor. In starters were limited choices and so had to try a kebab which were okay. Not that great. At Weekends its very crowded and hence table reservation is recommended.

3rd December around 10:30pm had been here for dinner with my parents. The restaurant is usually busy so please reserve a table before you walk in. The place is newly made up and the ambience is amazing. I had very high expectation with theor hospitality and food with disappointed me a little. The manchow soup was not upto the mark. Fried Noodles were soggy and the khichiya papad had gone stale as it was smelling. The main course was good but nothing great, their portion size is just good for 2. Place is good but not value for money.

Best vegetarian thali in Mumbai. The place is really good and has an excellent ambience. Food served it really full of taste. If anyone craving for a pure veg restaurant then do try Bhagat Tarachand. Veg Biryani, Special Thali and Sweets are a must here.
