I
recently
had
the
experience
of
undergoing
a
C-section
and
spending
time
at
a
hospital,
where
unfortunately,
my
overall
satisfaction
was
overshadowed
by
a
number
of
concerning
issues.
However,
I
also
had
the
privilege
of
receiving
exceptional
care
from
a
dedicated
and
highly
skilled
physical
therapist.
Here
is
a
detailed
account
of
my
contrasting
experiences:
During
my
stay
at
the
hospital,
several
aspects
of
my
care
left
me
dissatisfied.
Firstly,
I
was
taken
aback
when
I
was
expected
to
bathe
my
newborn
baby
with
strangers
using
pregnancy
bathwater.
This
not
only
compromised
hygiene
but
also
made
me
uncomfortable
and
concerned
for
my
baby's
well-being.
Additionally,
I
found
it
disheartening
that
the
hospital
prioritized
the
stacking
of
purchased
items
in
the
room
over
ensuring
fresh
sheets.
It
seemed
as
though
their
focus
was
on
logistics
rather
than
on
providing
a
clean
and
comfortable
environment
for
patients.
Moreover,
I
was
deeply
disappointed
by
the
disrespectful
treatment
my
husband
received
from
the
hospital
staff.
As
an
important
source
of
emotional
support,
his
inclusion
and
respect
should
have
been
a
priority,
but
instead,
he
was
met
with
disregard
and
dismissiveness.
Furthermore,
the
incessant
nightclub
music
playing
in
the
vicinity
caused
significant
distress
as
it
constantly
shook
my
newborn
baby
throughout
the
night.
This
lack
of
consideration
for
the
peaceful
and
conducive
environment
required
for
recovery
and
bonding
with
my
child
was
truly
disheartening.
Adding
to
my
dissatisfaction,
the
hospital
seemed
determined
to
force
a
four-night
stay
based
solely
on
their
ability
to
process
paperwork,
rather
than
considering
the
well-being
and
progress
of
the
patient.
This
approach
undermined
my
trust
in
their
judgment
and
commitment
to
personalized
care.
However,
I
must
emphasize
that
my
rating
reflects
the
care
provided
by
the
physical
therapist,
which
was
nothing
short
of
exceptional.
Her
high
level
of
skill
and
education
was
evident
in
the
care
she
provided
and
the
knowledge
she
imparted.
She
demonstrated
a
genuine
concern
for
my
recovery
and
went
above
and
beyond
to
ensure
I
received
the
best
possible
treatment.
In
conclusion,
while
my
experience
at
the
hospital
fell
short
of
my
expectations
and
left
me
dissatisfied,
I
am
grateful
for
the
exceptional
care
I
received
from
the
physical
therapist.
I
believe
it
is
crucial
for
the
hospital
administration
to
address
the
shortcomings
I
have
outlined
and
work
towards
providing
a
more
comprehensive
and
patient-centric
approach
to
care.
