Not an ideal beach. Full of rocks with spikes. Brackish water. Black sand. Horse ride, motorcycle ride and water sports available. Only advantage is that it is less crowded.

The beach was quite nice. We visited in the evening so tides were on rising side, the water was slowly rising up. To get to the water had to cross the rocks which were about 100m from where the beach officially starts, and then going there it was pure scenic, the sunset was so mesmerizing as you can sit with your loved ones sipping that coconut water and slowly seeing the sun fade away at the far distant shoreline.

Very nice, clean and tidy beach. You can enjoy this beach with family and friends. You can stay near the beach side as many homestay, hotels and villas are available on rental basis. The best part of this beach is population and food joints are guest and pocket friendly. Nonveg lovers must try the sea food here. It is a little spicy but yummy

One of the fine beach of Mandva. Located 15KM from Mandva Jetty port. Beach is very peaceful and less crowded as compared to Alibaug beaches. Many water rides services such as Banana, bumpy, jet ski,etc are available at affordable cost with duration of 3-5 mins. Rented cycles and ATv is special attraction on beach. Lots of Rooms and Hotels are available for accommodation over night near to beach. One can reach by private or public vehicle to the beach. One can take auto to beach at ₹.300 from Mandva Jetty.

Very beautiful and serene beach . Very good with parking services . Washrooms are not there it’s built but are locked major inconvenience for ladies if one has to go might be operational soon . Other items and snacks are ample and economical. Beach is very rocky so please be careful while swimming or playing in water. Overall very clean and less crowded beach for a weekend getaway.

Versoli beach offers an alternative to the highly visited alibag beach. It has long stretch of clean shore. Watersports activities are highly recommended here as there are no coral rocks like those at kihim beach. Plenty of food stalls offering snacks to non veg thalis, paid parking space available, plenty of options for homestays and resorts.

Nice beach. Mostly crowded on weekends. Have small shops outside . Evenings here are very relaxed and refreshing. One of the places to visit in Alibaug. Parking and toilets are also available. Quad bike, horse riding, etc are available on the beach.

Been to few beaches in Alibag.. varsoli..kihim..nagaon.. ek se badhkar ek vaahyaaad beaches. The people posting positive reviews here have never been to clean beaches till date. All the alibaug beaches are horribly dirty...its a dumping ground..from clothes to plastic bottles to used furniture.. Stray dogs and pups near kihim and nagaon beaches are starving to death and beaten by localites. When i asked localite why are they behaving such towards dog.. he replied arrogantly.. ae tum tourist log jao apna ghumo.. idhar dhyan dene ki zarurat nahi hai.. aur saath me inn kutton ko bhi leke jao..idhar hume kutte nai chaiye isliye hm log kuch bhi karega. It was horrible trip. Its sad that localites are not even concerned about what impression they put on tourists.. no wonder Alibaug se aya hai kya..is still considered downgraded and backward.. If you are nature lover and/or animal lover ...dont spend your precious money by going to alibaug

Great gateway to Re- energize 😍. Alternate option to Alibaug beach(as it less crowded). Various small shops are there for snack. Newly waterbsports such as banana ride, paragliding, etc are started. Parking are available. Also there is facility for freshen up after beach visit or u can rent a room for stay.

Main kihim beach is much polluted now.. it was much disappointing experience... Earlier it was good clean beach but lots of garbage is getting accumulated everywhere ... So taking a dip in ocean think twice before you do... Parking for four wheeler is not available ...If you book a resort nearby then you can just walk by the beach...

Quiet beach and perfect rocky edges for catching the gold of the sunset. It was a full moon too, so caught a bit of the glowing full moon peeping between the coconut trees. The perfect end to the evening was dinner of local seafood cooking at Prasanna Cottage n restaurant. For me, a veggie thali delight accompanied by yummy kokam sole kadi. It's a long beach with some shops selling local eats on d way to beach. Very few people,Rocky in some strech, trees in the background. We enjoyed the sunset here.

2.5 🌟. If you're planning to swim then this is not the beach to recommend. Sports activity available, food and parking facility available. Rooms to stay are available but little bit costly. Not so clean you can walk around the shore. In morning the climate is cool a little 😍. Less street lights

It is the best place near Mumbai and pune to vist from Mumbai by road it takes maximum 3 hours whereas from pune it takes 4 hours to reach it is the best place to visit to get out from busy schedule and rest for some time the beach is clean and locals are also very friendly and most important thing the beach is not crowded, I have visited the beach many time and i have not experienced any kind of crowd on beach but do plan on weekdays for better deals and atmosphere 🤗

(Translated by Google) 12 km from Alibag. Kihim's picturesque beach is captivating the minds of nature lovers with the gift of nature just like any other beach in the distance. After ascending the Alibag-Rewas road at Kihim fork, the westbound road leads to the beach from Kihim village. You will find many natural beauty sites on this beach for photography. Dense forests of coconut palms and cypress trees adorning the sky beautify the coast. That is why this beach is very crowded with tourists. The clean and smooth Athang Sagar, which adds to the beauty of nature here, invites tourists to visit in any season. Tents have been set up by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation for this beach. It is only in summer or winter that you can experience the pleasure of living in the midst of the sea, surrounded by nature. It is not fun to stay in a tent in the rain. However, during the twelve months of the year, Kihim village has many places to stay and have meals. At a distance of 11.5 km from Alibaug and 13 km from Mandwa Beach, Kihim Beach is a beautiful beach situated at Kihim village on Mandwa - Alibag road in Raigad district of Maharashtra. Kihim Beach is one of the popular beaches on the Konkan coastline and also one of the top places to visit in Alibaug. Kihim beach is one amongst the most popular Alibaug Beachs with a long stretch of clean sandy beach intermittent by rocky stretches. The beach has soft fine sand and is black in colour. The northern part of the beach is rocky and the southern part has a long stretch of sand.  The waters at Kihim are as inviting but those venturing to swim have to take caution of the rocks strewn across the beach. The Khanderi and Underi forts loom over the horizon from the Kihim shores and along with the rocky stretches offers one of the most beautiful views of the setting sun in this part of the Konkan beaches. Kihim also offers a rustic lifestyle along with a variety of seafood and typically Konkani cuisine.

Less crowded beach close to Alibag. It has a lot of activities to keep everyone busy, horse cart Atv for kids Water scooter Banana boat and more for elders. Also, small eating joints bee up at the entrance serving various snack items for the evening hunger. The beach wasn't very clean on the days we visited the place. Also, it's rocky at some parts hence not ideal for kids to get in when high tide, we ended up having cuts on feet and toes :(

    1. Beach is comparatively clean and quite (may be my timing was right). 2. Good food joints. Less sports activity compared to Varsoli, Alibag. 3. Sand is good and ample hence fort/castle can be done. 4. Length of beach is good. 5. You will Shells alot and some are turned into stone ONLY request to visitors: Keep it clean for others to experience the same.

A place to pause and contemplate! Really lovely people in and around the stalls, very friendly and sweet to talk to. There are lots of dogs there so love and playfulness is always around. I have visited this beach multiple times of the year, but always found this beach untidy & less maintained. There are few food stalls at the entrance which serve you basic snacks & tea. Water was not clean & water sports were not available. Only sand trucks & horse carts are available here

Its full of rocks and blackish sand. Especially during low tides the water regresses more than 100m inside uncovering numerous rocks. Water sports is available but only during high tide. Better to time your visit according to tide..but don't expect an exotic outing.
