The beach and view is lovely by itself, however the other parts takes away the charm. Used to frequent this beach in weekdays during my school years, but this time decided to take my family on weekend. Bad choice!!!!! The road is narrow and there was slow moving traffic as bikers and even small cars were not respecting their lane. So our plan of sunset was canned. The beach entrance has a police station and parking lot. Believe my surprise when I see the narrow lane completely blocked with cars and bike to the extent that people cannot walk. Cops were trying there best but the situation seemed uncontrollable. Anyway, we make it the beach in the twilight and it seems half of Mumbai is out only on this beach. The beach itself is beautiful but dangerous. So a fair warning to newcomers. There are sudden drops in the beach, which has resulted in fatal cases in the past. The beach is more or less clean. There are many stalls selling sandwich, corns, tea, and other stuff. By 8 o'clock, cops drive in their ATV and push the crowd out of the beach. Not sure if this is due to Covid situation or it is a latest trend. Now, let me talk about transportation. There are buses from malad station to Aksa beach. You can catch 271 bus. But a far warning, these buses are also used by locals and on weekends, they are bursting at the seams. Auto rickshaw have their own nexus and will charge you a high amount. Radio cabs like Uber and Ola usually do not respond. So enjoy the beach on weekdays and preferably go by your own vehicle.

Relax Zone Everyone knows about sea and sea shores. But this is the place where you'll definitely feel relax and pleasant once you reach. It's less crowded beach with large seashore. Waves are even not much heighted one but love to meet you always. Don't go too much further as sudden deep and slippery sand cause your life in danger. Best time to visit here between 4pm to 7pm so you can play along side seashore and even with waves. Once you done with enjoyment go for tea break along with bhajiya, maggie with flavour, pakode, corn, vada paav available at beach with unique taste. All again pocket friendly budget. It's treat for you to enjoy this while looking at beautiful sunset. It's just 30 min away from malad station. Buses are available at regular intervals. Apart from that you can carry your own vehicle four wheelers, two wheeler. Parking facility available right over there exactly beside beach. Go for it guys it's wonderful place to make your days. After all we're living here to enjoy every moment of life n this is perfect place to make your memories

One of the better and cleaner beaches of Mumbai and slightly away from the City. Now it has all the 'essentials' of Mumbai beach like Vada pav, coconut water and some kids activity stuff etc. No water sports though. Earlier parking was a major pain point but now paid parking is started by MCGM and therefore it is not a hassle anymore. As this is a sandy beach good for running training also.

Located a little on the outskirts of the city in Malad, Aksa Beach is an unparalleled oasis for a rejuvenating retreat from the hustle bustle of the city traffic. The beach, no doubt, owes most of its fame to the song β€˜Tujhe Aksa Beach ghuma du’ from the hot shot Bollywood movie but is lately becoming a choicest pick among tourists seeking tranquility and peace from the mainstream chowpattis in Bombay. The mesmerising coastline is one of the longest in the city and offers an extremely vivid and surreal panorama of the merging horizon ahead. The beach is still untouched by the city crowds and hence maintains its natural charm apart from being immaculately clean. Known for its pristine and unblemished beauty, the beach is frequented by families and couples alike. The strong tides and currents keep shifting and hence, it is prohibited to go too far in the waters for a swim. However, the tiny eateries make up for that, and you don’t miss out on a lot. You can munch on a helping of chana jhol garam and enjoy a quiet evening saunter on the enchanting seashore Dotted with quaint little cottages and luxury resorts, this place makes for an ideal getaway from the everyday monotonous lifestyle. Best Time To Visit Aksa Beach :- September to March is considered the best time to visit Aksa beach. The other months can get unbearable due to the heat and humidity. Also, due to the strong tides, it is also not recommended to visit during monsoons. How To Reach Aksa Beach The nearest station to Aksa Beach is Malad of the western terminus. You can get down at the station and hire an auto-rickshaw or choose to travel in one of the state-run buses. Alternatively, you can book taxi cabs from your accommodation for a more comfortable journey. But the buses will be the most cost efficient!

Akshe BeachΒ is a popularΒ beachΒ and a vacation spot in Aksa village inΒ Malad,Β Mumbai,Β India. It is situated close toΒ MarvΓ© Beach. It is a popular weekend destination. It is dotted with many private cottages and hotels, some of which are rented out to tourists and visitors.Β Aksa beach also happens to be one of the cleanest beaches in the city ofΒ Mumbai is accessible from Malad (West) station by select BEST buses from Borivali railway station, en route to Madh Island, and also by private transport and auto rickshaws. Cabs services like Ola and Uber are also available. The beach is approximately 9 km from Malad station and 12 km from Borivali. It can also be reached from Andheri (West) railway station. Buses from Andheri Station go to Versova Village. From there a boat takes passengers across the sea to Madh Island. On Madh Island bus numbers 269 and 271 go to Aksa Beach. Visitors often complain about the rush and crowds due to less availability of the BEST busses in the evenings.

The beach is very clean in comparison to the overrated Juhu beach. If you go for the sunset, expect a lot of traffic, but it's fine for odd hours. For the food, there are quite a few stalls offering everything from maggi to all the Indian snacks you would want. One stop I personally won't recommend is ice gola, which looked and tasted great but gave me really bad food posissoning the next day. In addition, the parking ticket is β‚Ή70.

I have visited here many times with friends, having amazing experience. Aksha beach is better than other nearest but not available any entertaining things like boating services etc. Just you can go there and naturally enjoy by yourself. Apart from this you can enjoy amazing sunset view over sea waves.

The cleanest beach amongst all other beaches in City. Has a parking place for 4 wheelers and two wheelers. Many small snacks, coconut water and other eatable item sellers available to feed you with very reasonable price. White sands on beach and Rocky area at left end of beach. You can find local coast guards alerting people and guiding them for safe experience. Many zoomba dancers groups will be seen in weekends.. you may also find some models doing professional photoshoot on rocks.. Nice place.. must visit..πŸ‘

Aksa Beach in Mumbai, touted as one of the city's natural gems, offers a serene escape from the urban hustle. The expansive shoreline and the rhythmic sound of the waves create a picturesque setting for those seeking a brief respite. The natural beauty of Aksa Beach is undeniable. The vast stretch of golden sand against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea provides a tranquil environment for a leisurely stroll or a quiet moment of reflection. The beach's unspoiled charm is a testament to its appeal as a haven for nature enthusiasts and those looking to unwind. However, it's important to note that the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the beach could be improved. While the natural beauty is awe-inspiring, the presence of litter in certain areas detracts from the pristine experience that one would hope for in such a location. Enhancing efforts in waste management would undoubtedly contribute to preserving the beach's charm. Accessibility to Aksa Beach is relatively convenient, allowing both locals and tourists to enjoy its beauty. It serves as a popular destination for families, couples, and solo visitors alike. Additionally, the beach offers a variety of beachside shacks and vendors, providing an opportunity to savor local snacks and refreshments. In conclusion, Aksa Beach stands as a natural oasis in the bustling city of Mumbai, offering a serene retreat for those seeking a break from the urban grind. While the natural beauty is captivating, there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance to fully optimize the experience. A visit to Aksa Beach is a reminder of Mumbai's diverse offerings, where nature's beauty meets the city's dynamic spirit.

A beautiful beach stretch and is cleaner then most Mumbai beach. The easiest way to reach is BEST bus towards Madh or take Auto. The best visiting hours are early morning or evenings. Lot of activities can be seen. There are multiple food stalls. Swim within limits and based on beach warnings.

Quite photogenic yet lacks maintenance due to degrading civic sense. And whatever humans give to nature it returns in exponential terms. Oceans returns heaps of plastic, POP, etc and beach is a witness to that.

Best time to enjoy this place is in the morning, when the water is fresh and clean. It’s the best time to visit the beach, and as soon as the tide start reducing get out of the beach and prefer clicking pics as the water turns out to be very salty and leaves lots of traces on one’s body.

I was surprised to see how clean the beach was and not so crowded. Secondly the water is clean which makes u feel like taking a dip in the waters. There are lifeguards around and are alert all the time. I would just like to make a humble request: We know that drinks are always fun at the beach.. but please lets not leave empty glass bottles around the beach as it may cause cuts and injury to ppl playing and children having their time building a beautiful castle of sand. Car parking is available 1hr: 70rs 3hr: 80 rs Mats and chairs are available for a nice relaxing time at the beach however, on crowded days you need to find your luck. Lunch or dinner can be had at a restaurant jus 1km ahead. BOLLYWOOD STARS amazing food and rates are moderate. Have a nice time.

This is a beautiful beach with rocks on either sides. When clean it's absolutely gorgeous. I have been a part of many beach clean ups at this location. It looks absolutely beautiful early in the morning. The sad part is that even after all the cleaning, people litter it so much. It's heart breaking. The water is cleaner than most beaches in the city. Swimming is not recommended because currents are too strong.

The pic is taken on 18/10/2020(sunday). There are many small fruits, beach toys, fast food stall so you can plan a day for this beach. In the morning many cyclist ride to the beach as the road to aksa is covered with trees. Beach is crowded on weekends. Dana pani is very close to aksa Some part of aksa has sand which leaves black colour marks on the body.

Aksa is one of the cleanest beaches in mumbai, best for gorgeous sunsets over the sea. The roads leading to the beach are a bit congested, so expect heavy traffic during weekends and holidays. As far as food is concerned, you can find stalls selling local street food, however there are no decent places to eat immediately near the beach. Personal vehicle is preferable mode to reach here.

Enjoy pakode and corn. Be aware of there high/low tide cases. Safety should be your first priority. Rest as much early you came before the sun come on your top you can enjoy more.

It's feels really awesome going there. The beach is clean, there are very few people which makes it peaceful. There are some stalls of food as it is usually at beaches. While walking on the stones, just be careful, wear your footwear otherwise the stones can cut the leg ,the corals on the stones are really sharp.

Absolutely amazing place to get out of the city. Has a very nice beach-front with lot of food options. The place opens early morning with several joggers and walkers taking a stroll. You get good breakfast options as well early in the morning. Best part is, there is an imli-wala at the beach selling all kinds of khatta imli, awla, kacha keri amd derivatives there of.

Best at night time... Its peaceful at that time you and the waves and no one as. Other time its quite crowded i don't recommend you to go but if you like sunset its a perfect place for it. You guys will love it

One if the better beaches to visit on this side of Mumbai. Visitors to this beach must be careful of the rip tides and soft sands just off the beach. The beach is fairly clean and seldom crowded. During the day. Mornings and weekends are a hotspot for locals and visitors alike for long walks on the cool sand. There are many stalls, restaurants and hotels around the beach so lots of places to stop and eat. Parking for vehicles is only possible at the entry road leading to the beach. I would advise you to enjoy the readily available coconut water and 'Tadgolas' which are local favourites to cool off.

After Juhu beach, this is the second good beach in mumbai. But poorly maintained, and quite vacant most of the time. The sandy beach is wide spread for a large area until you reach the sea. Not much options of food available, you get maggi, bhelpuri and pakoras. And coconut water for drinks. Place almost empties out by 9 at night.

Though i must warn you this place gets Overcrowded on Weekends, because guess what, it's Mumbai. I also will insist that you visit this place atleast once whenever you are in Mumbai, especially in the evenings. Watching the sunset here is a treat for the eyes. Families come here for picnic and couples for some good time.People enjoy the water. No one feels regret. You will find plenty of stalls serving snacks such as Bhelpuri, Kaanda Bhajia, Corn and Vada Pav. I have been there multiple times. But also remember to book your Cab in advance for returning as Most Cab rides are not available after 6 pm. Enjoy.

It is finally open, the beach was cleaner than ever, yet dirty, but it is very plesant before 7.30 am and after 5 pm, go cycling, almost all good roads, and elevations. Do not forget to pick your waste! And try some half fry chai and pakoda, or just coconuts.

Aksa Beach is an exquisite, idyllic and popular destination and a vacation spot in Aksa village in Malad, Mumbai,It is situated close to MarvΓ© Beach. It is accessible from Malad (West) railway station by select BEST buses and also by private transport and auto rickshaws. The beach is approximately 9 km from Malad station, From here one can easily reach Aksa Beach by auto, BEST buses or taxi. Aksa beach is not safe to swim as the currents are strong and the sands of the beach keep shifting. Warning signs of swimming prohibition have been put on the beach and lifeguards have been appointed, Any one can come here at any time of the day, but morning and evening are very pleasant. If anyone liked less crowded and want a beautiful view for photography then early morning time is the best time to Γ§ome here. There is a lot of crowd like children, youth and elders came here for fun, games and enjoy quality time with their friends & Family. There are many local vendors for food and drink, where you can find good taste with acceptable quality at Reasonable Price. There is small garden on name of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam situated just outside of beach,in garden area there is a pay & use toilet facility also available. Overall, It is a popular weekend destination & one of the cleanest and beautiful beaches in the city.

Aksa beach is located in Malad West. 45 minutes from Malad station. 30 minutes from Malad link Road. Start moving towards Malad Marve Road. Take left from INS Hamla. It is a Navy base. Keep moving for 10 minutes until you see Aksa Beach board on the right side. Busy beach usually on weekends. Parking is a issue for 2 and 4 wheeler both. This is a rocky beach. So be careful while you go deep in the sea. This Left of the beach side is Madh Island and right is of the beach is Manori Island. There are many resorts developed in recent times here. You can spend time with your family and enjoy you r weekends.

Always a five rating for the beach, but the three ratings are for the authorities who are lazy to open it post the 5 AM guideline, and have kept it closed even at 9 am. Mumbai has beaches closed guideline from 5 PM to 5 AM till 15th Jan 2022 due to covid.

One of most beautiful beach near Mumbai, comparatively much clean than any other near Mumbai. It's 11-12 km from Malad station. Prefer taking own vehicle to visit this place. Buses are available from Malad station but ver crowded on weekends. Autowalas charges anything they want doesn't run on meter.

Okay okay beach. There is too much crowd here too. Didn’t expect that much. Since this beach is very isolated. From malad too it is very inside. It takes arnd 200 to 250 in auto to arrive at the beach. This beach is after marve. Very small road which makes the traffic double to arrive here and while returning too. But a good place to chill. Like the cool breeze of air and that kind of stuff. I purchased a bottle of water here. The taste of water was a bit different. Like it felt like the water has been refilled. So dont purchase bottle of water from here. Bring hour own bottle or at least purchase one before arriving here.

  • 5/5 Proyasee T. 1 year ago on Google
Most cleanest as compared to the other beaches. Love to visit during sunset, lot of food options are available mostly street food. The drive to the beach is very peaceful.

  • 5/5 sharan b. 1 year ago on Google
One of the cleanest beaches in Mumbai, in weekends it will be crowded and lots of eateries will be available. For peace and quiet time can go on weekdays. You can play in water and the amazing thing is water shallow for a quiet long distance which means kids can also play without any worries though the life guards are available at the beach. Travel to Malad station and board a bus from there with the help of google map. Best sunset view in the Summers.

it is clean and less crowded if compared to other beaches in mumbai , if you are using a public transport then it can be hectic to travel

Aksa Beach, a coastal gem near Mumbai, offers a serene escape from the urban bustle. The expansive shoreline and golden sands create a picturesque setting for relaxation and leisurely strolls. The rhythmic sound of the waves provides a calming soundtrack, enhancing the overall experience. While the beach itself is clean and well-maintained, amenities are limited, so it's advisable to carry essentials. Aksa Beach is perfect for those seeking a tranquil retreat, away from the city chaos. However, visitors should be mindful of the strong currents for a safe seaside experience. Overall, Aksa Beach provides a refreshing coastal getaway.
