This is one of place to expirence sunset.. One can also see lots and lots of flamingos here.. People say its seasonal but when I visited this place had uncountable flamingos enjoying.. I visited this place in the 1st week of June... If we move front from another side we get a bridge which is surrounded with watr and mangrove Its a opem area so parking space is there..

Great place to see Flamingos. During seasons, one can get to see plenty of Flamingos and other water birds at this location. If you are adventurous, park your vehicle st the spot and walk along the passage to reach the opposite side to see Flamingos much more closer (within 2-3 meters). If you are a bird lover, you can't miss this spot.

Too good place for watching Flamingos and many other lovely birds like kingfisher painted stork spoon bill mangoes kites etc. Car can be parked there. Easy access no charges. Near to Palm Beach road

If you are interested in bird watching this is the best place in Navi Mumbai. We visited this place at morning with BNHS team. Good place for watching flamingoes and other birds. You can spot many variety of wetland birds too. Kingfisher, The great egret, munia, Grey Heron, Shikra, Strawberry Finches , Bhardwaj , pPond Heron, Black Drongos and many more birds you can spot. This place is nearby Palm Beach road, parking is available.

Very convenient point to watch the flamingos. Finally after long, long wait the flamingoes have arrived at #nerul behind T. S. Chanakya Institute. There were around 100 odd flamingos much lesser then used to come earlier behind the NRI Complex Seawoods. Currently there are only the lesser flamingos which are being spotted and are coming from the last 4 days.

Nice place to visit for watching flamingoes during Oct--March Period

One needs to come during low tide and everything depends on luck. I had to come 4 times to get lucky enough to be able to witness the beautiful flamingos. Also, the plase has been ruined by building concrete pathway. Other birds have also started to go far now.

You can spot variety of species of birds. Its nearby palm beach road. Behind TS Chanakya Marine institute.

It was truly a memorable encounter with nature. As I observed through the lens of information available, the serene beauty of the wetlands surrounding the institute was evident. The tranquil environment provided a perfect backdrop for spotting various avian species. The highlight, of course, was witnessing the majestic flamingos in their vibrant pink plumage, creating a picturesque scene against the backdrop of the sea. The birding point's thoughtful design and the chance to witness such diverse birdlife made it a fascinating and immersive experience.

One can see good number of flamingos and other waders here... flamingos can literally be seen in 1000s during low tide. Tide timings are important hence note the same before coming. We also saw Indian grey mongoose near the mangrove during low tide which was a bonus.

One of the best place to visit in Navi Mumbai... Best time to visit- Early in the morning or Evening... So calm and green... You can spot many bird species... And best sunset view I have ever seen in Nerul. No entry fees,Less crowded,easy to reach by local transport. Need to maintain the cleanliness more. Overall great experience. Must visit place.

A water body with lots of open space, no tall trees around, so get to see a vast expance. Has small paths, sufficient for single person to walk, around the water body so one can get different angles to the habitat. One can get to see painted storks, cormorants, pond herons, gray herons and flemingoes in and around the water body. Good place for birding

Fantastic place for birding !!! Off Palm Beach Road, just behind T. S. Chanakya. One can go around small water bodies and also walk towards the jetty to see Flamingos. Wide variety of birds around like egrets, pied starling, chestnut tailed starling, black drongo, prinia, red whiskered and white eared bulbuls, black headed ibis, painted stork and many more. Check timing of tide to see flamingos.

When in doubt I visit this place. It's so secluded that you can enjoy bird watching peacefully.

Very diverse nature on the backside of campus you can have a vision of flamingos and it is well connected to sea a lot of mangroves near by

The place is still wild, not a formal tourist attraction but a great place to spot Flamingos, Cormorant, King Fisher, Coppersmith barbette, grey herons, painted storks etc. Approach road is a dirt road with limited space for parking.

For all those who like bird watching and photography, this place is a must for flamingos from December to april when they migrate and take shelter in India. A further few meters of walk will lead to a bridge into the sea for those who like to stand by the peacefulness of the nature!
