A huge beach....but not at all clean.Lot of dirt and filth is strewn all over the beach. There are horse carts for joyrides to ferry people on the beach....but the horses are in a sorry state....total cruelty shown towards the horses....The local authorities seem totally disinterested in maintaining the beach and its surrounding areas....

There are many Accomodation’s near this beach and I think it’s one of the famous beaches too. It’s not secluded but quite. You have go through a village to visit here. There are water sports available too however no shacks or seating area to enjoy the view. You have few shops for shopping and few restaurants near the parking area for this beach. I felt this was clean beach as compared to Alibaugh beach if u just want to sit, play and observe the waves it’s a great deal here. No much disturbance and Crowd around. I went in the morning and the water level was too low so don’t feel like to play in water however it has good surroundings to click photos

One of the best beaches in Alibaug for a dip in the waters which is safe and the waves are not tricky or harsh nor does it pull you in. It is huge, clean and has water activities, boat rides etc and has great places to stay around close to the beach. A bit further from city but the way too is pleasant to reach there.

This from the beach front near Nagaon beach where the Nakhawa beach resort is located. This was far less crowded than Alibag or Nagaon beaches while offering the the same breathtaking view of the vast Arabian sea. This beach does have its share of camels and horse cart wallahs pestering you for a ride, along with a host of other water sports including jet ski, banana ride as well as parasailing. There is a paid washroom where you can take a bath with hot or cold water (of course at a price) Post a dip in the sea. There are a few tea stalls around, but what takes the cake, is viewing the sunset with your loved one. There is ample parking just off the beach.

Very good place. Beqch is clean but very busy!! Has all water sport available. There are a lot of fish places around but not classy. Else badami Beach which is extension of nagaon Beach is far cleaner and family friendly.
