This review is descriptive. The only advantage that all alibaug beaches have is they are the nearest ones from Mumbai-Pune. 1. The Beach and water condition: The beach is clean from litter but the water is brownish and contaminated. Sand is black/brown 2. Water sports : Banana ride, Water scoter, horse ferry available (no paragliding) when we visited (Jan 2021) 3. Washrooms/Changing Room : This is the BIGGEST let down of Akshi beach. The facility is dirty and with NO freshwater supply for bathing. You can find homestays nearby for washrooms. 4. The Trees : We noticed that almost all Suru trees were chopped may be for development purposes and this was not at all good as it was harming the serenity of this beach 5. Food : Its an observation after tasting multiple places at Alibaug beaches including Akshi, Nagaon, Alibaug that fish served here are stale/cold stored and substandard in terms of freshness. Hense the food is also a big letdown as compared to Anjarle, Karde, Shrivardhan where you will get more authentic and fresh food. Overall, Alibaug is a full blown tourist attraction place and it has lost its charm due to development and locals not so keen to maintain the feel.

This beach is 7.2 km from Alibaug bus stand. Beautiful scenery and calm place. Water level is very down so you have to walk to go to water. Cleaned and water sports also available there. Parasailing (1500) for two. Jetski( 200 each/ 500 for double) and Banana ride at same price of jetski. Horse Cart also there. Sand Motor also there. Overall is good. You can go with family and friends. Bathroom also available there to clean salty water on charge basis (Rs 30).

The beach is picturesque but not clean. Calm as not many people visit here. We stayed at small wonder resort near akshi stambh. Beautiful place to stay.

You will hardly find any crowd there. Water level has gone really down due to which you will need to walk from parking to the sea. Clean water, clean beach, very calming, loved it. Visit at any time of the day, you will love it.

A gap of 10 months of lockdown I went to first place during new year 2021 to Akshi beach Alibag. Beautiful and relaxed beach ,not much people crowded and clean and tidy beach ,weather was perfect

Akshi beach very Clean and Calm beach. This beach is situated on Alibag Murud raod , and this beach is 5 km far from Alibag city. Akshi beach is less crowded beach and very beautiful beach because of Suru Tree and there a one Sai Baba Tempale also to near beach. weekend time there is some food stall also available Monring and evening time. u need peace and realness so u decently go Akshi beach and enjoy peace.

One of the most cleanest, serene, less crowded beach in proximity to Alibaug. We went there in the evening when it was drizzling and had an amazing time. If you are travelling with your pet and want to let them enjoy the beach in peace this is the one to go!

The Arabian Sea encircles the beach town of Alibaug in the Raigad District. It's well-known for its gorgeous beaches, historic forts, and exhilarating water sports. It is the ideal setting for a respite from your demanding life. It is easily accessible by ferry, rail, and road and is only 100 km from Mumbai. Nearby to this beach is Alibag beach and Colaba Fort. The months of November through February are the ideal times to visit here.

It's a nice beach..less crowded..no cheap public.. Watersports also available..(1 star less due to unavailability of para sailing here, for which we needed to go to Nagaon beach😊) We stayed at Omkardeep Holiday Resort over there. It was a wonderful experience at that place. Mr. Omkar, the very owner, is such a well spoken & humble host. He had managed all the hospitality very well for the stay. Even in absence of manpower, he himself brought us the food & required eatables. He attended us in best way possible in our two days stay. The resort is well equipped with delicious food, nice large AC rooms, geyser for hot water, swimming pool, lot of greenery, coconut trees, play area. Even the beach is just 100m walking from the backside of resort. You can go there with friends, family or anybody. I'm sure you'll enjoy.

This is a very clean beach with not Much crowd. Clear water and not so wavy too. You can just walk in the water and relax. Best part is that, we could walk a long way into the sea, like 150mtrs, and the water was still below the knee. You could feel being the centre of the sea at such a distance from the coast. No shops/shacks on the beach but you can find few small shops for tea, maggie, dry fishes, cocunut water etc near the parking area. Washroom is also present at the same parking area. Nagaon beach is also nearby, there you can find many shops on the way to the beach. Veg/Nv thali is mostly served in most of the small eateries. However, you'll easily find small restaurants serving a-la-carte menu as well.

Average place there is some unclean area

Sea was very quite and atmosphere though it was afternoon quite pleasant. The cleanest beach I have ever seen with white sand, great water sports the most attractive is paragliding. This beach is situated about 6km away from Alibaug. One can see the Kulaba fort from this beach. This beach is very clean, very few people visits this beach

An amazingly secluded spot

This beach was the highlight of our weekend getaway in alibuag. We randomly stumbled across this stretch, when we arrived there were may be a handful of people at the shore but soon enough we had the entire beach to ourselves. Witnessed a beautiful sunset. Had some fresh coconut water. There are also some water sports activities at the beach, the water is not exactly clean and the changing rooms / shower areas are absolutely filthy.

Its developing yet. No sports. Water is also polluted. But since public is lesser you may feel relaxed and have fun over the free space. Snacks and meals are available at the beach side.

Akshi beach is one of the best beaches of Alibaug. Water is comparatively better then other beaches. Not much of rush as other beaches. They dont have any sports activity on the beach, all such activities are available at Nagaon beach which is hardly 2 kms. from Akshi, hence you get a good silent feeling. Need to carry your own water bottle and snacks as it dont have any stall nearby.

The place is very neat nad clean. Best becah to visit in alibaug If you want less crowd and xlean beach this beach is best. There are many water sports available in this beach also.

Nice n peaceful place. Not commercialised. No water sports. No food. One can sit hours n hours watching the blue water. I preferred home stay which is cheaper option & also gave opportunity to blend with locals. Nagaon n Alibaug are closer by beaches, where water sports n little shopping market is available.
