    "Bandra Talao" is a small lake located in Bandra West Mumbai. It is very close to Bandra station just walking distance away.It is locally referred as Swami Vivekanand Talao. It was formerly known as Lotus tank. It is just opposite Jari Mari mandir. Very poorly maintained. Water is polluted by plastic bags and bottles. It require proper cleaning and maintenance to keep talao hygienic.

    The area is not well maintained. The complete physical evidence of the place can be improved ...still can spend your evening here with friends or loved ones. There are people who visit this place for fishing as well. If fishing is your hobby and then you want to spend some time with your loved ones by the lakeside in evenings and weekends it's quite good.

    Bandra Talav locally referred to as Swami Vivekanand Talav is a small lake located in Bandra, Mumbai. The lake was formerly known as Lotus Tank and is a Grade II heritage structure. The lake was also called "Motha Sarovar" and was constructed by a rich Konkani Muslim of Navpada, an adjoining village.

    Very pleasant to place in the heart of Bandra. The water is never dry even thought , it seems dirty but there are many fishes and you can see a lot of pegion around. You can come and hang out with your friends and sit there for some time for refreshment.

    It's nice but the water up there is extremely dirty people throw alot of garbage up there. And apart from that there is no place to sit sometimes people occupy benches that's the main problem you can't sit there sometimes. It's nice place I usually go there to listen music..

    Lovely place. Calm public place to sit down and relax amidst hustle and bustle of the City. Fresh water lake so close to the ocean is indeed a miracle.

    This place is called Bandra talao, It is clean and good place to visit once. There you can feed pigeons and click good photos of yourself. This is near SV road.

    Bandra Talao or small lake is one if the oldest landmark of Bandra west and Mumbai. On ocassions it provides boating and such water sports. Its actually very small and it is a wonder it has not been taken over for making residential/ commercial buildings. Nice simple place a stone's throw from Bandra railway station on the west side.

    One of the dirtiest lake i have seen. It stinks with greenish and blackish water. I myself have seen many people peeing into it. It is very very dirty and needs to be cleaned. A lot of outside renovation work has been done but the water also needs to be cleaned and maintained.
