Peacefull place for a sunset view with hills in the background. I parked my vehicle in an open space and took a small walk to get closer to the lakeside. Next time I might book a camp for overnight stay. Lot of options available for camping.

It's a beautiful lake genuinely.. It is a clean and clear blue lake. It feels so good to see it is not polluted. There are activities like jetski, motorboat and boat riding. The view is just tooo beautiful. The water feels so fresh, it's impossible to resist going in the water. The breeze is so soothing. Sit on the stones and just play music and enjoy the view is also worth. I can imagine it's beauty during monsoons. There is a well made garden too near it. You can sit there also and enjoy the lovely lake with lush greenery around it..

Awesome place to enjoy the new year, year end celebration with family, friends, kids, elders and colleagues. The camping, bonfires, tents, food arrangements everything are organised by the organisers. The lake views, sunset and sunrise views are so good and so fulfilling. Best time with love ones and togetherness.

    > I really had no clue that Pawna would be so nice to have a look at. > This was my first time visiting Pawna and I am stunned at how clear and blue the water is. 😍 > We saw it while our way to and fro to our campsite and the water looks more like the water in Malvan (I said what I said) 🀭 > We weren't allowed to swim and all in the water, which I understand but there was a floating thing kept on which we could walk and get close to the water. > I couldn't take much pictures it but this is what I have at the moment. #Iamlocalguide #vxibhxvi #lifeandleisuredotcom

Nice peaceful place close to nature. You can go to the private property land by paying 200 rs. (bargain) to the security. It's totally worth your time. Don't stay after dark. It is risky as it is jungle.

We visited Lonawala and stayed on a camping resort located on the shores of this lake. The lake is very beautiful and is a source of drinking water supply to Pune and nearby areas. Many hotels have come up in the vicinity and in the morning when you take a stroll you can hear lots of birds chirping around. there is lots of photo opportunity around this picturesque lake.

One of the best lakes I have seen in my life. Bigger like a sea and blue like the sky. Endowed with lots and lots of camping resorts all along its perimeter. Lies few kilometers ahead of Lonavla. Must watch place near Mumbai and Pune. Its beauty doubles during the monsoons, the best time to visit.

Worst place to visit in Lonavala. There's nothing to see or enjoy. If you're living in a nearby area then you can come here for timepass. They will charge 50 for parking at a distance and 100 for near the lake. If you want to take photos just view the photos I have posted. Not recommended at all.

The views at the lake were serene and spectacular. The hills, water and greenery make it a very scenic destination and a perfect background to get your pictures clicked. We tried boating here as well. They charged 200 rupees per person but the duration on the boat was just around 45 seconds which was very less.

Maybe good for night visit but not so good for day visit (especially post covid lockdown). Very few food options. Around the lake the area is not leveled or cleaned. Very few places for photography. If going with family, then finding rest room is a pain. Overall boring place.

The pawna lake area is located slightly outside the central Lonavala region and can be reached by using a car or hiring a cab. One important point to note is some people around the lake region would try taking money from you by giving a receipt stating the road you would be walking is a private road. Do not put in your money and ask them for the public road. Coming to the lake area itself, it is splendid. The views from the place we were standing were breathtaking, and we could see the entire expanse of the lake as well as the periphery of the Dam. The Dam also has an interior road to reach the dam wall but is now out of reach of ordinary tourists being closed due to safety precautions. The lake water, even during the monsoon, was cool and calm. The clouds had descended over the lake, and you could see the mist-covered peaks at a distance. There are also quite a few camping sites around the lake; thus, if you are looking to camp, you can contact one. In terms of snacks, there are one or two restaurants that serve some basic food. But the most important is the area around the lake is fantastic. This is a must-visit place if you are looking for a place that shows you nature at its best.

Wao wat a beautiful lake. Didn’t expect that near to pune and and such clean and serene place. It is a reservoir created artificial lake overviewing β€œtikona” pahad (mountain) There are many camp sites available in this location and boating also(saw one hoarding for boating, though was closed at our time) You can start you day by doing lohagarh fort and reach by 4 pm at your campsite. Go for overnight stay. On the way till lake u can see ghat, dam and rainbow(if lucky) and lush green area nearby.

I had always heard a lot of good things about Pawna Lake and the main attraction it's famous for is camping. A few of my friends have gone camping during Rainy and Winters as it’s the best time and you to explore the beauty of the Lake. There were several camping sites, but it's best to book it online and make a reservation beforehand to avoid booking issues. I would plan a trip with my friends for camping and I am sure it will be great.

My visit to Pawna Lake near Lonavala, Maharashtra, was truly captivating. Surrounded by the majestic Sahyadri mountain ranges, the lake offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The picturesque views were nothing short of breathtaking, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking tranquility. However, it's worth noting that the lake has gained popularity over the years, leading to a noticeable influx of tourists during peak seasons. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty of Pawna Lake remained undeniably mesmerizing, leaving a lasting impression on me as a nature enthusiast. Roads could have been better Cafes are much expensive. Overall My experience at Pawna Lake was nothing short of exceptional, primarily due to its pristine waters that exuded purity. Unlike many other lakes that often show signs of pollution or debris, Pawna stood out with its crystal-clear waters that reflected the surrounding natural beauty flawlessly. This purity not only added to the aesthetic appeal but also emitted a positive vibe and feeling. There's an innate sense of calmness and rejuvenation that one feels when surrounded by such untouched beauty. The absence of dirt or pollutants heightened the overall experience, allowing visitors like me to immerse ourselves fully in the serenity of the surroundings.

The interior roads are horrible and not maintained at all. There's nothing special about the place unless you have a private bunglow around there or you opt for night camping. There are no specific boards which tell you about the lake. The view is amazing but if you are planning for a breakfast ride you we'll be disappointed with roads . There's not a single public place provided by the government p where you can sit and relax.

Pawna Lake is near Lonavala and is a beautiful one. There is a dam as well which is a tourist spot. The lake is serene, clean with cool breeze around. Surrounded by his, it gives an amazing view. There are boating activities and you can ride on a speed boat, motor boat and even the fast scooter boat. There is a very nice restaurant as well and is decently priced as per the location. One can come with friends and family to simply be at this place for hours admiring the nature.
