Harish Book Store is one of the iconic stores of Vashi. I believe they have been around for 40 or more years. Back in my student days, I used to frequent Harish book store for science and mathematics books published by Mir Publishers, Moscow, as well as other foreign publishers. I also used to go around to them for subsidized copies of India Today, Readers Digest, Science Today, and also foreign magazines such as Time. I guess I might have bought at least 1000 books and magazines from Harish. Today, I see that even my son picks up and reads the books that I bought from them more than 30 years back! Harish book store's reach is across generations! I wish Harish Book Stores the very best for the future. I wish that they will progress from here to 100 years and even beyond that! They may not be very flashy or jazzy or glittery, but they are serving the purpose very well! I wish I could give 10 stars!

I am among those students who brought second hand books from Harish, studied my course and returned them next year. They have all sort of new and second hand books. One of the worst book store i have ever visted, they don't pick up the call, even when they pick up the phone and tell you the store is open, when you actually visit the store they tell you that their owner is not there and tell you to come back another day. Service is poor.
