Hot idli has a very neat and clean kitchen where hygiene loves to stay. Had a very good experience in this place . May it be early morning or late evening everytime there is good and quality food available at reasonable rates. Awesome food with equally cordial staff . Everything at this place is excellent only flaws that I discovered was the spelling mistake in cheese for which they had written it as ' chees' that was quite humourous. Would highly recommend this place if you are in search of good and hygienic food. Food that we ordered was medu wada which was very crispy on the outside and moist n soft on the inside . The chutney accompanied by it was very scrumptious . The only restaurant or stall to have thick and vegetable filled sambar that contained thick dal and a load of vegetables in it.. it's a definately a worth try.

We had a mix plate of dal vada maidu vada idli and onion maidu vada... The food was tasty. You can expect home cooked flavors, only discomfort was "no sitting place"

Shree Balaji Hot Idly, Nerul is an authentic South Indian restaurant. They have concept of fast food, sit and dine and a juice shop. The Sambar is a proper authentic Tamilnadu style. I love their food. They also sell the Idly and Dosa batter. One of the favourite food joints in Navi Mumbai. It's just behind the Nerul Ayyappa Mandir.

Hot Idli as it is popularly known , it is place which is crammed from 7Am to 10PM . This place gives the best Idli ,Vada in this area. You'll have people of age groups here . This food house offers quality south indian stuff. Perfect place to go quick bite post your morning workout though it is open at other times of the day as well. If you are here, do give onion medu vada a try, you will not regret. Taking away 1 star for unavailability of chairs to sit and eat at peace. This place has got standing desks kind of limited arrangement and gets really challenging to find a space during rush hour. But then again, if you are serving food this yummy, how can you blame people for crowding this joint !!!!

Small joint to enjoy south Indian cuisine esp Idli, Medu Vada, Dosa, Upma and of course filter coffee. It's take away and not a place to dine out. Price and quantity are very reasonable or rather cheap I would say. The whole set up is well organised, food cooked in clean and hygienic manner.

The filter coffee is to die for!! Dark, smooth and fulfilling. A perfect place for genuinely affordable and good food. Specially recommend the vada and coffee. (Just a little spicy some times)

Great taste, reasonable price, good quality, service is also good, but if there is rush you have to wait for atleast 15-20 mins. Limited options to dine in their, mostly choose to take away. Highly recommended!

The best place to have a south Indian breakfast, Idli and meduwada is the best n once u taste it I'm sure u will keep visiting it for it... addictive and delicious Idli n meduwada with filter coffee.. Sitting arrangements are not there and these guys have to work on it.. Neat and hygienic food.. There will always be a huge queue and have to wait for ur turn..

Great tasty food. But no sitting or even proper standing arrangement. Place had Pongal, perfectly authentic the way i tasted back in Chennai. Loved to have it here in Mumbai. Very few south indian places serve Pongal.

Got to be the favourite South Indian breakfast spot for every Nerulkar. The sambar and coconut 🥥 chutney served here is one of the best i have eaten in my entire life. Must tries- Sheera, Masala Dosa Pongal (If you are a true south food fan) crunchy Medu Vada and filter coffee ☕ of course. The only con is that the service on sat and Sunday is too slow due to the large number of crowds pulling up. Do takeaways and parcels only if you have the capacity to wait for an hour on sat and Sun,either wise weekdays are easy and smooth. Prices are affordable and justifiable according to the quantity and quality. The place is great if you have a four-wheeler as there is enough and ample space for parking. ✅🤝
