Dr.
CHIRAG
SHAH.
HE
removed
the
toenail
(which
I
was
fooled
into
and
was
unnecessary
as
I
got
to
know
much
later
on)
with
a
promise
of
getting
new
one
naturally
that's
flat
and
won't
hurt.

months
later,
the
new
nail
looks
wayy
worse
and
hurts
even
more.

the
reply

Dr.
on
my
review:
The
issue
was
not
critical
or
persistent
that
needed
an
operation
to
remove
a
complete
toe
nail
ALONG
WITH
THE
NAIL
BED.
Yes,
the
whole
nail
bed
as
was
also
removed
for
a
mere
in-cut
of
growing
nail.
Yes,
it
was
hurting
but
it
definitely
didn't
need
the
operation
(verified
by
another
experienced
doctor
as
I
have
consulted
afterwards).
In
case
of
any
operation,
a
learned
doctor
puts
out
all
the
consequences
of
the
operation
along
with
benefits/significance.
None
was
provided.
The
only
promise
that
was
made
was
that
you'll
get
a
fresh
flat
nail
which
won't
hurt
and
would
be
completely
normal.
When
reminded
of
this,
Doctor
turned
180°
on
his
own
statement
and
said
he
never
said
it
and
took
no
responsibility.
The
current
situation
is
that
the
nail
has
disproportionately
grown
upwards
(curved
up
when
you
look
down
from
the
top)
and
it
is
not
just
a
cosmetic
issue,
it
has
started
hurting
more
when
wearing
any
footwear.
Worst
part
it,
cutting
it
is
not
helping
the
situation.
When
asked
for
the
solution,
Doctor
said
he
would
re-operate
and
remove
this
nail
along
with
nail
bed
as
well
but
will
not
assure
of
a
better
nail
this
time.
In
short,
I
lost
the
natural
nail
along
with
the
nail
bed
that
was
completely
fine
and
now
have
a
bigger
problem
caused
from
the
operation.
Doctor's
argument
of
-
growth
of
new
nail
depends
on
nature
of
body
and
so
on
-
is
totally
illogical
and
baseless
because
if
that
was
the
case,
my
body
should
have
had
deformities
(deformed
toenail)
since
the
birth
or
anytime
in
adulthood,
which
is
not
the
case.
Moral
of
the
story,
surgeons
are
only
gonna
do
what
they
know.
SURGERY.
So
please
get
yourself
well
informed
as
no
one
else
has
the
best
interest
of
your
health
except
you.
I
wish
that
Doctor
had
taken
at
least
the
responsibility
and
offered
a
solution
that
works
rather
than
showing
this
behavior.
There
might
be
many
other
who
might
have
benefitted
from
surgery
for
acute
problems
by
this
Doctor.
But
I
am
certainly
not
one
of
them.
And
being
an
educated
and
sensible
person,
I
stand
by
my
review
based
on
this
experience
at
Arham
hospital.
