Nice place for breakfast or brunch. Great choices between salty or sweety food. Good prices + deals. You have the option to read a newspaper or magazine while eating. Comfortable place, nice service.

Back the days I was dining here quite often; today I just gave up. Instead of visiting on a weekly basis, I now start to question how it was possible to delay a Penne Pesto by more than an hour EACH TIME when I used to dine here. In most cases the staff needed to phone the kitchen several times before they even started to prepare the dish. Since 'the kitchen' is basically Grana Restaurant next door, it seems that they prioritize on their own guests and keep any other orders pending until they get at it. The fact that this is a returning scenario brought me to the decision to have my dinner elsewhere now. You can pick any random café or restaurant in Sliema and you will get better service for sure. Highly recommended not to dine here.

Nice place for a coffee.

The place was well located and the staff friendly. It is not a full coffee shop but also like a bookstore that also works somehow like a select mini market. The food was good and worth the price. I had the strawberry smoothie, the ham and cheese toast, and a latte and all was good. The chocolate croissant was good but the chocolate tasted like mixed With berries.

Cocktails are ok but I have had better. Waiter was lovely. Person behind the bar was not. I asked a question she was very curt and gave off a hostile attitude. I was with my aunt and we asked if they had a certain food item (from the menu) she said I have to check with the chef. Fast forward to drinks coming out, she didn't tell us that the food was obviously not available as I would have ordered something else. This is my second time visiting and there won't be a third. My last experience was just as bad if not worse. They gave us a menu and then ran off for half an hour so I couldn't order and then this yellow haired lady came out and started telling everyone they are closed and need to leave whilst slamming chairs. Some of the staff have been lovely but I will not be returning to get attitude when I haven't done anything to merit it. Male waiter yesterday was lovely in the late evening.

I Was at book bites cafe last week with my husband ,while being on a weekend break in Waterfront hotel we stopped there in afternoon.we bought 2 bitterlemon.which they came in plastic bottles. I didnt finish my drink as I usual do in other places I wanted to take it with me ,I asked for the bill ,the waitress told me 2 bitterlemon 4 euro but bottle you cant take it with you otherwise I charge you 20 cents more. Me it's not for the 20 cents I don't have a problem ,I'm aleaus here and there eating out in restaurant and hotels but this thing is not right.if I didnt finish my drink I expect to take it with me not be told by waitress or cashier that I cant otherwise I have to pay 10 c more. This thing never happened to me whenever I go.2 euro each bottle is enough I pay I not expect to be charged 10 cents more for taking the bottle with me. Doesn't make sense. The waitress said a not my fault rules. But this is not right.

Nice place to have a coffee Coffee and books is usually a good combination. This coffee shop has a nice terrace close to the sea from where you can enjoy a coffee and read a book you've bought in the store.

Great place, pretty desserts, fresh salads and large range of sandwiches, toasties and wraps. Perfect for lunch or light dinner.

A small book shop located on the sea front at sliema. The book selection is minimal, however, the book shop hosts a delightful bakery. The pastries there are very good. The arancini is probably the best I've ever eating and at a very low cost. The cafe makes a perfect breakfast or lunch stop, whilst on the seafront.

Surprisingly the coffee was really one of the best in Malta. Everywhere else they burn their coffee, here it tasted how it should!

Excellent prices for smoothies, coffees & salads. We went to get the €21 7 day bus card so had a drink while we were there. Gr8 place for magazines & any reading material too!
