Quite a nice resort. Food and drinks are expensive (especially for locals) and no alternative options nearby. A chance of seeing a 🐍 snake there.

Located at 215 miles marker on Yangon-Mandalay express way. On the edge of the Nga laik dam, it can relief a person from a stressful city life. With a beautiful scenery, peaceful environment, cozy and clean rooms, this resort is superb for people who want to relax in quiet place. Friendly and professional staffs is a plus. Recommended.

Hidden rest stop on expressway. Better if toilets could be improved.

Perfect place for relaxation. Our group stayed at Chalet which cost 35$ per room. Room is very clean and tidy. Bed and linens are clean and comfortable. Fully equipped and even microwave provided.Love the wooden bathtub though a bit small but quite different from usual bathtub. Breakfast is delicious and tasty also you can get special meat like wild boar, rabbit, bear etc depends on availability. Can hire boat to cross the lake to visit elephant camp which kids will be very happy.Highly recommended for short stay.

It is an amazing place in the middle of nowhere. I spent 2 nights for vacation with friends in November 2018. The hotel is located on the bank of the Nga Like Dam, just 20_30 minutes drive from Nay Pyi Daw. The hotel setting is perfect for sunset! It offers full-size bar with local and imported drinks. THE FOOD IS PERFECT!!! I recommends to try local Burmese dishes. I have tried almost all the dishes in the menu with my 2 nights / 3days stay@_@ The rooms are clean. Service is super. Smiling staffs are lovely. It offers boat ride in the dam and camping trip to the elephant camp located on the other side of the dam. I love this place and WILL RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE want to have just a break from this busy, noisy world....Love <3

Best time to visit would be in rainy season, and the winter. Summer time can be hot (but breezy) and water level quite low in the dam. Restaurant has nice alfresco dining with the lake view, right beside. Prices are on a bit high side but not exorbitant. Taste used to be good, but recent try, was disappointing. Rooms are nice and spacious with wooden decor, wooden cabins. Tastefully decorated as well, but sound insulation is "transparent". Good for walks, and boat trips as well if u like nature. Superb for bird watching, bird photography, nature photography, macro as well. If u like nature, u should have no problems with snakes which is a frequent sightings :) Worth checking it out since it is right beside the express way, so its convenient for a stopover when u traveling.

The staff are friendly and there is a nice view. But if you want to have dinner or lunch there, I suggest you order with your phone first . So that they will serve the dishes before you're hungry 😉

Very quiet resort. Ideal for a short getaway from city life. The place is quite remote. You do get ample privacy and the staff are very kind. Room service and cleanliness is 'good'. N.b., about the food, it's not great... If you can tell staff what you want exactly, and how to cook it exactly, you're in for a good stay; for a day food can be as much as the rooms. On breakfast, stick to local food, since oily uncooked egg on toast, oily streaky bacon, chicken sausages, and sweet toast, is what you will get... the most important meal of the day ends before 9AM. Bring a good book! Limited Internet. A perk is that you can ask nicely to pick your own fresh lemons etc.

A relaxing place to take a break from daily life. There is also an elephant camp nearby to have fun with your children. You can go soft trekking around the camp.

Awesome view of the dam. The place is well kept and has high quality service for their guest. You can have boat ride and also can have your meal on boat if you want.

Old middle east style bunglows at the bank of Nga Laik Dam. Scenic views and fresh air. Elephant camp is around the corner. Boat ride dinner is a must.
