Urumi Waterfalls in Thiruvambady, Kozhikode, Kerala Tourism, New Destination It is a famous tourist spot in punnakkal , which is located at a distance of 8 km from Thiruvambadi. Urumi dam situated in this urumi river. The clear water from most of the waterfalls are believed to have medicinal power.

Very calm and beautiful hill area. Good place to visit on weekends to enjoy the waterfall with family and friends. Prefer to go on your bike or car. Carm an quiet place were you will get piece of mind . The water was cristal clear before but recently we have visited on april last week the water were not much good as before. Privacy for family and can enjoy the beauty of nature without any limitations or timing. Also there is no entry fee.

This is a small and beautiful waterfall situated in urumi. 11 minutes travel from koodaranji. This is one of the beautiful place for spending oru leisure time. The place is so calm. Along with this waterfall there is a dam for hydroelectric power. This is a great place for taking photos and videos. I went to this place with my friends. We were not aware of this place. When we reached there we could only see the dam. When we moved some more forward we saw this awesome place. The colour of the water and the surrounding atmosphere was mind blowing. Please don't try to enter the water for those who don't know how to swim. Because some places are so deep. Do try not to go to this place when there is heavy rain. Go with people who know to swim well and don't try to go alone.

A small but beautiful waterfall in urumi river... There is a small hydroelectric power plant called urumi dam... A peaceful place to enjoy your holiday... And please avoid this waterfall in heavy rainy seasons...
