An excellent place for a short or longer walk, with very well signposted routes and information signs around. Mountain biking routes marked for different levels of experience and a scenic view from the coffee shop.

Great place to come and ride your bike or walk amongst the trees. Be warned, it can be pretty steep!

My partner and I visited for a walk (hike). There are routes marked out for walks but it wasn't as clear as I had expected. It feels as though the area has been mapped out more for mountain biking than walkers, which was a real shame, from our point of view. Ultimately we completed the trail that we had intended to do, just took a little time to figure out.

Fantastic forest park with the range of bike trails from beginners to experts riders. Visitors centre with plenty of parking spaces, toilets and even camping area near by. If you love riding a bike, hiking or just taking family for a long walk tjis place is for you. Definitely worth checking it out.

Beautiful views! Walks from the visitor centre are different lengths. The longest one is very long and hard, but worth it. Other walks are quite short. Many mountain bikers like this place and come here.

We really loved walking at Afan forest park. Me my mum and dog did the red trail. It was described as strenuous but if you are a walker you'll find it pretty easy. Fantastic views all round the park. It seemed most people go to ride rather than walk so we didn't see many other walkers. The walking trails are mostly away from riding trails so quite safe for the dog. The waterfall is fantastic. We sat and had our lunch there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was quite shocked that a can of Coke was £1.60 in the cafe. Yikes! Good facilities. I can't wait to go back but on the mtb next time!

This place is beautiful to ride around or walk. Dogs are welcome too. Lots of different trails depending on your stamina and fitness. It also gave a lovely little welcome centre with cafe.

Such a gorgeous place for walking cycling or mountain biking. And we were so lucky to be staying right next to it at Llareggub in Pontrhydyfen.

Too many paths for us to walk were closed. Ended up on bike tracks to get to certain areas. Not the best. But it was a nice day and we managed to get a couple of miles in. 🐾

This place is an extension of our garden so we love it, cherish it & highly recommend it! Long rides out along the bike paths, picnics on the peaks & river walking with the family.
