Back in Skewen for a visit from Singapore and really wanted a proper breakfast, Rarebit was suggested so we gave it a go and I was not disappointed. It was really busy and we were advised that there may be a wait, when the breakfast came you could tell each is made to order. I had the big breakfast and it lives up to it's name!! The hash browns were the highlight of an excellent breakfast. The staff are very attentive and really friendly, taking time to explain to everyone who came in that there was going to be a wait as they were busy, I really wish that more establishments would manage expectations in this way. Highly recommended and I will be returning again before I head back to Singapore.

A great welcome for Sunday dinner. (But I will go mid week next) They fitted myself and son in without booking. Great food and atmosphere. Many orders were coming in for takeaway but we were still served promptly and politely. A special place in the heart of Skewen. Highly recommended 👍😊

First time visiting this morning for a breakfast after reading their reviews online, wow 👏 it was the best cafe breakfast I've ever had, they are very welcoming and friendly, will definitely recommend rarebit cafe 😀

Love this place, 4th time going now. Usually get vegan cake as a veggie and allergic to eggs. The roast dinner is incredible (help yourself kind of thing) and the veggie breakfast is amazing portions. Tasty & recommend it!! The guys running this place really care about food & their customers and it shows!!

Lovely little cafe it's bigger than you think. Food was piping hot & very tasty. Reasonably priced too

Great place with delicious vegan options, I’ll definitely be back! They offer a choice of oat/soy/almond milk for coffees, and the menu has a range of meals to choose from making it a fab place for breakfast/lunch, clearly they’ve put a lot of thought into it. Fast free wifi too. Owners are just the friendliest (and so is their lovely dog!)

My Wife and I are from West Yorkshire and have been visiting family in Skewen. Yesterday, on their recommendation, we popped into Rarebit for a spot of lunch and we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was first class and the owner, and the young man who served us, were both charming and so welcoming. Many thanks for such a pleasant experience and we will certainly be back on our next visit.

Had our friends baby shower today. Afternoon tea was fantastic. Staff are lovely and nothing is a problem for them. Very accommodating for gluten free and vegetarian options. They had decorated the area lovely for us. Couldn't have asked for better. Thank you so much 💓

Lovely little cafe. The lady who runs this is such a nice person. The food is very nice. I love the coffee here. It’s dog friendly. The dog is always made a fuss of and made to feel as welcome as me.

Love this cafe! So welcoming and friendly. I always have the veggie breakfast - the homemade hash browns are a nice touch.
