A relaxing place to walk or just rest a while. Lots of benches and little paths. Access is up a steep narrow road and many paths have steep slopes but, if you park in the Top Carpark, you have access to the "Dram Road" which is has only a very slight incline and mostly a fine gravel surface.

Lovely place to wander around, even in winter. Beautiful views and walks, although didn't manage to see all of it while I was there. Paths down aren't well signposted so best to go while it's light.

I love it here, its a perfect little slice of nature tucked away at the back of Cadoxton. The woodland is all the more charming with the addition of 'fairy doors' made by local children stuck on trees. My son loves exploring and following the many streams that wind down the hill. Ample parking, though plan ahead as there are no facilities. Keep an eye on the younger kiddos as there are crags and drops. You are on a mountainside after all! Little waterfalls and industrial ruins add interest and make a great backdrop for adventures. If you are looking to immerse yourself in nature for a while - this is a good shout.

Great walk! very scenic, plenty of picnic benches and numerous bins to discard your rubbish which I find lacking with most country parks these days.

Well kept secret near to the old Penscynor Wildlife park. Lovely walk with shaded areas, picnic areas and a few surprises along the way.

Craig Gwladys is right on our doorstep. Free parking with Lots of area to explore. Lots of fresh water streams, which is ideal for dogs.. I'd recommend packing a picnic bag and enjoy exploring the vast area.

Beautiful woodland park, perfect for dog walking and exploring with the kids. Fairy doors throughout the entire place. So many trails to explore as well. Free parking and a quiet place we passed maybe 5 people/families the whole time we were there

Beautiful area for walks with the family and dogs, good parking, but a single track road to get there. Lots of lovely fairy doors on the trees to look out for

Lovely little park with a few different wooded walking routes. All involve some uphill but not too strenuous for most reasonably fit people. Would be difficult for child buggies and probably not possible to go far in a wheelchair. Very dog friendly and there's even a couple of streams for then to drink from. Lots of tadpoles and other water life. Plenty of car parking space on different levels. Road surfaces not maintained so watch out for pot holes. Small picnic area in 2nd level car park.

This is such a beautiful area to spend with your family and dogs but if you're alone, please be careful of a lone walker there with a brown and white Spaniel dog, who's always off lead. The man has a scruffy beard (might be shaved off now) and is easily triggered by phones with a paranoia of being filmed. He will violently threaten you if you have a phone in your hand. He has attacked several people already, myself included and has been reported. Hopefully, you'll enjoy your walk, but please stay clear if you see him!
