One of four waterfalls along a 3-4 hr walk. We stopped here and cooked lunch and brew a coffee whilst surrounded in nature. Incredibly beautiful place to walk around. The walk is incredibly challenging but worth it for all the views. Wear proper footwear and be prepared for steps. @momentsofiutdoors for more photos of what we did.

Fantastic place to visit. Has changed a lot since I was last there, things like toilets and a very decent burger van with very helpful staff who refilled our water bottle. The walks can be over challenging terrain, so ensure you have good boots, and I would recommend a walking pole. It was a hot, sunny day and was quite busy. Parking is £5 for the day.

The 2nd of the four main waterfalls in this walk. 🤩 Not a very difficult walk, you will need to get the map and follow the green walk. It takes some time. Ideal for individuals or even families. Avoid going on a very rainy day or get the proper boots as the area can get really wet. Get some water and food with you. Would highly recommend to do the whole walk (four falls walk), takes between 3-4 hours. The path is in good condition, there are benches around or even wood 🪵 you can sit and have a great picnic.

The Four Waterfalls Walk was a great experience, not too challenging and we got wonderful weather (can’t imagine it’d be too much fun in the rain!). I’d subtract one star with the confusion around the car parks. If you are taking a car, I’d recommend going earlier than 10am; there’s a couple of car parks spaced about and do remember that they can spin off new car parks taking cash payment on private fields - which is what they did for us! Advise going towards the Cwm Porth car park - this is a great start to the trail and there’s potential other car parks onwards from here in the occasion it is full. It was £5 for the day so make sure you are not duped to paying more! Toilets - there’s portaloos in one of the Car Parks which you need to use before you embark on the walk as you’ll find no toilets during the approx 3 to 4 hour walk! Crowd - the various waterfalls all get fairly crowded with people even attempting to swim and go in the falls. The actual walking trails were not too bad and we were not held up or delayed in any way on our walk. Paths - there’s green paths and red paths which are very clearly signposted - it’s difficult to get lost there. Green paths are slightly more challenging but suitable for even kids - this will take you closer to the falls. Take a swimsuit, take a camera, wear hiking boots for sure and enjoy yourselves!

My recent adventure to SGWD Y PANNWR left me in absolute awe of the beauty that nature can create. This hidden gem nestled in Wales is a testament to the captivating power of waterfalls and the serenity of untouched landscapes. Indeed, this was the last waterfall we visited after visiting Clun-Gwyn and Eira. The journey to SGWD Y PANNWR was an experience in itself. As I followed the well-marked trails through the enchanting woods, I could feel myself getting closer to something truly special. The anticipation grew with every step. What's more, the accessibility of different viewpoints allowed me to fully immerse myself in the experience. I found myself lost in the beauty of the falls from multiple angles, each offering a unique perspective that added to the enchantment. For fellow adventurers planning to visit, I recommend wearing comfortable hiking shoes and bringing a camera to capture the magic. The hike can be a bit challenging, but the reward of witnessing SGWD Y PANNWR is beyond worth it. If you are starting your journey from Cwm Porth Car Park, then it will be a total of 9.4 Km of Walk (From Cwm Port to all the 4 waterfalls and back to the CWM Porth). If you follow the directions and having a map, then journey can be a cake walk else you will be lost. If you're yearning for a getaway that rejuvenates your soul and ignites a sense of wonder, SGWD Y PANNWR is the destination you've been searching for. Embrace the experience, let the waterfall's melody speak to your heart, and create memories that will stay with you for a lifetime. Happy exploring!

This waterfall is wide and offers plenty of space to sit and enjoy the fresh water. We had our snacks here and sat near the waterfall. There is a lot of room nearby to sit, and some people even enjoy swimming here. We visited on a sunny weekend in August 2023. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely spectacular and the water is clear and clean. Not easy to get to as the walk is steep and rocky, but it is totally worth it. Give yourself a good few hours to really appreciate it all. Make sure you have decent shoes and enough water and food with you for a nice picnic.

Dramatic waterfall on the 4 waterfall trail, this is on a spur path from the main route and worth doing, also continue on to Isaf Clun Gwyn whilst you're there. Boots recommended. If you love lacing up your walking boots for a waterfall hike you might love our YouTube Channel - Pack Lunch and Travel, where we look for waterfalls round the world

Fantastic waterfall and so big. There were a lot of people at the falls but we were able to get about. It was slippery on the steps down to the fall and back up and some steps were very steep, but wouldn't have missed it for the world

Fantastic experience, the waterfalls are just visually stunning and are surrounded by a beautifull dense forest..its a good 30 minute walk all downhill before you get to the first waterfalls and then another steep climb down across rocks..its a pretty hard walk back up again but well worth it...I do think you need to be a little bit physically fit for these walks imo!!!

Had a lovely visit whilst hiking the 4 falls waterfall. Took a few hours and the elevation gain was a bit of a surprise- bring snacks and water! boggy in places so if the weather has been wet- make sure you've got the right footwear. Carpark is very busy, i'd recommend arriving first thing in the morning around 9AM or 1PM when everyone who got up early will be leaving.

Another one of the four waterfalls of the waterfall county. Quite a challenging walk this one, plenty of muddy slopes and difficult paths before reaching this waterfall. I was definitely unprepared for this trip, so I would HIGHLY recommend bringing some hiking shoes, wellies, and perhaps a walking stick too as you can slip very easily. Though, it’s absolutely worth a visit. Exploring the woods and waterfalls just looks incredible. We saw plenty of people bringing there own food and drink as there are no nearby food facilities so I would recommend bringing some lunch if you’re bringing the kids. Regardless, what a perfect little day trip - really quite tranquil.

The area is very pretty - would highly recommend going. The whole walk takes 3-4 hours to do, there is quite a lot of going up and down, would recommend supportive shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. According to my watch I climbed 66 floors.

Very steep steps down to this waterfall it's quoted about 8 minutes to go down and 15 back up but it is beautiful, quite busy down at this one as it was a sunny day but there are three other waterfalls on the four waterfalls walk that are equally beautiful. All in all a good day out and a decent range of walk lengths surrounding the waterfalls.

Fantastic stroll up to the first waterfall, route well marked out with sign posts with numbers to help alert emergency services to your location quicker if there was ever an accident, wasn't much of a descent up to the waterfall, places to swim, water looks lovely and clear overall a lovely stunning walk

I have to say we did the four waterfalls and was a really challenging walk due to the terrain, but definitely worth the effort. There were some families with children and I don't know how they managed it tbh. It's so beautiful and relaxing but very busy on a fine weather day which it was when we went. My older daughter and I enjoyed so much. Parked in a lovely farmers field as the main car park was full. Would highly recommend.

Waterfalls Walk 5 miles (8 km). A waterfall walk In the Vale of Neath, approximately 20 miles from here is there is a place that takes you along a series of beautiful waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons. It's an amazing walk through lovely woodland gorges with rushing water and interesting rock formations. The route is full of river walking on well cared for flat paths. However, though there are couple of slightly awkward spots to negotiate and some climbing above the path if desired. Takes about one hour. Highly recommended.

Very steep uneven, slippery pathways to walk down to the waterfalls and back up again. Stoney/gravel paths. Be prepared with plenty of drinks and snacks. Beautiful place to visit

Lovely place to go and have a look at the water falls. Nice walk down to them and the dog loved the swimming. The only thing I dislike was the people dropping there rubbish in this lovely place.

Part of the four waterfalls walk in South Wales, waterfalls spread around a 3 to 4 hour walk. Rough gravel paths with steap climbs and big steps. Car parks £5 and quite a long way from falls. Toilets in one car park but could do with a good clean. Very small shop.

Great place for a long walk. Good shoes is a must. Terrain is not difficult, but slippery when wet. I enjoyed every minute up there.

👍👍 Bloody hard walk and terrain, so much mud but the waterfalls are awesome, especially the one that you can go behind. Lots and lots of steps/stairs and slippery so make sure you are fully equipped. Took us about 5 hours but we spent lots of time at the falls

🫤 You can no longer park on the road and take photos of cars in the water. The river has been managed and changed and there is now a new bridge. A shame. Otherwise you can stop and it is nice to sit by the river.
