This gluten free restaurant is quite close to Royal place. As I eat gluten-free and had not managed to enjoy a good waffle in the waffle city of Brussels, I was very excited to find this place, also forced my group of 9 to try a dessert here. It was nice to find a gluten free beer but the waffle was not quite what I expected. My home made gluten free batter for cakes and pancakes is quite like regular flour but this was quite thick and not easy to eat. Bit disappointing but it is good to atleast have a place which has exclusive gluten free options. O wanted a creamy waffle loaded with fruits but had to settle with blueberry pancake with fruit inside. Prices seem high, seating is OK and service average. In all, not my favourite place to spend time if I am a tourist here.

Everything in this store is gluten free. Everything has vegan OPTIONS. The sandwiches (amazing bread) and the fresh squeezed juices are the best options. The eggs are cooked medium so they don't spill when you bite. The waffles are good, a bit dense but nothing to worry about. Came here twice in two days amazing thank you. The soup was also yummy!

So fantastic that we came here twice in one day during our very short stay in Brussels. This place is perfect to accommodate very healthy, conscious people, regardless of whether they’re vegan or not. The vegan fried eggs are the best vegan fried eggs I’ve ever had. Focaccia bread and the veggie soup are also outstanding. Their vegan mozzarella is also among the best I’ve ever had.

The place looked like it could have been a great visit, with its rather quaint decorations and seatings. So the breakfast experience was honestly a big disappointment to us. I can forgive the dry waffle, being vegan and gluten-free. But the topping was also nothing special, and the espresso drinks tasted like ones from the single-press machines at train stations. All this on top of being overpriced (each waffle portion in the photo is 14EUR), and we didn't even get very good table service: long wait to take order, no patience while taking order, but super quick response when we want to pay.

The food presentation is good but doesn’t taste great. We took focaccia, vegan healthy morning, oat milk cappuccino and a black coffee. We didn’t like any of the food we ordered.

Great selection of beers and organic food. Friendly staff and convenient location a few minutes from the Grand Plaza. They have an extensive variety of vegan dishes if that's your thing.

I've been traveling for 2 months and this was hands down the best food I've had so far. The staff was amazing!! The joint is right around the corner from the square. I had the healthy nuts waffle wiff ice cream on top and the vegan antipasti. 🤌 And the beer was perfectly cold. 🥰

This is an absolute must if you are coeliac/ gluten free /gf. We ate here many times and every experience was fabulous. Super safe environment and we had no contamination issues. There is even a fully gf gluten free beer on tap which was such a joy.

Super tasty breakfast in a cozy atmosphere with very nice staff. Waffles are vegan and have banana in the base. This gives a great combination between sweet and savory if you order them with avocado, vegan "bacon" and sun-dried tomatoes for example. In addition, there is delicious coffee. Especially for vegan living people, but also highly recommended for everyone else.

Gluten-free island in the middle of Bruxelles with sweet and salty option - and waffles lovers I got both of it! Left this restaurant happy, highly recommended, everything’s gluten-free there, everything!! And vegan options of course, so get there and relax!

Decided to check this place to try somewhere new to eat. I got the waffle and my friend got the toast. The toast was good actually but the waffle tasted so spongy and hard to chew on, i couldn’t finish it. It also costed 12 euros for just chocolate and a small scoop of icecream :’)

The food was decent but the service was lackluster. We ordered the same thing but our food arrived 10 min apart and neither time was it warm. It took 20 min to get water and 30 and 40 min respectively just to get omlettes. Worst of all the girl pulled her mask down, coughed in her hand so hard that she fell forward and then immediately grabbed a customer’s drink and brought it to them without washing. Somehow it also managed to be much colder inside than outside.

They have an extensive menu of sweet and savory waffles. I had the eggs & bacon I thought they were disappointed. The dough was really tense and heavy, the few avocado slices more brown than green, few mushrooms, and 2 slices of bacon that were not crispy at all. Really disappointing as I love the zero waste & organic concept. But sadly more a tourist trap…

Charming Cafe off of Grand Place with a completely gluten free menu. Our food and drinks were delicious! We sat outside in the alley which was nice and the staff was also very friendly.

We visited The Sister Brussels Cafe today as one member of our party had a gluten allergy, and we discovered this spot on TikTok with seemingly glowing reviews. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed with the food. The waffles were bland despite the toppings and the vegan breakfast was a let-down. The drinks we ordered (an iced latte and various fruit juices and smoothies) were some of the most awful concoctions to ever enter my mouth. The food came out at different times. By the time three members of our party finished or discarded their waffles, my vegan breakfast still had not arrived. The drinks also came out much later than the food. We were given two glasses of water to share between four people. The staff were lovely, and the cafe was well decorated. But we were left with a bad taste in our mouth (both literally and figuratively) after having to beg for the cheque so we could pay and leave. We asked three times, and although we understand it was a Saturday and busy inside, we were disappointed that we had to keep requesting to pay to numerous different staff. Sadly this cafe was not a win for us, as frequent patrons of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, this has fallen very low on our list of recommendations.

It's an amazing experience, everything is gluten-free and they have ton of vegan options as well. The focaccias are to die for and also are accompanied with some vegetable soup of the day, incredible. 100% recommend to any celiac or gluten free intolerant in the city

Vegan fried egg! Super tasty. Made from natural ingredients too which is cool, very innovative creation by the chef. The egg industry is an absolute disgrace, they force thousands of chickens into dirty disease ridden barns and k*ll them as soon as they make less eggs - don’t support that, choose the vegan option!

Cute caffe with a lot of vegan options 🌱 The service was amazing but the food was pretty average, especially for the price 😅 I did enjoy it but nothing to die for… The soup was amazing tho!

I found this a great place for brunch/lunch if you're gluten-free. Loads of options, even traditional things like waffles, and I felt confident in my choices as the menu was clearly marked. The food was fresh and delicious! I visited several times whilst in Brussels.

Highly recommended. Cannot speak high enough for the sisters especially if you are celiac and need gluten-free diet. In most restaurants, I will be luck to fine one item in the menu that is gluten free and it is typically tasteless. In the Sisters, the whole menu is gluten free and bio, and to my surprise very very delicious at reasonable and comparable prices to other restaurants in the area. Go for even if you do not need the gluten free diet because it is so natural and tasty.

Gluten free waffel is a rare thing, but we found it here for my wife. There is also a few gluten free beer.

I was thinking about giving 2 stars but I like the variety of vegan options. Pros: - vegan - food was good Cons: - we waited for a bit to be served and again for the food - coffee is just bad. Sorry. - 15€ for a meal that maybe satisfies a new-born. - prices are pretty pretty expensive but hey it’s Brussels - the place is quite cold. Bring your jacket with you.

Hmm. Went there as I am vegan, accompanied by others who are not. I was keen to try their vegan eggs/omelette, but then realised that they only serve them until 1pm (we got there at 1.20pm) I did enjoy my foccacia - the Make Me Smile one - which had delicious vegan mozzarella and vegan bacon. We were all disappointed by the portion sizes though! Focaccias are advertised as served with a "cup" of the soup of the day, which is a small glass. Drinks and food took quite a long time to arrive, service was not that friendly or efficient. We were tucked into a dark corner not far from the bar; their juicer is pretty loud. We were still hungry by the end so went to have a gelato elsewhere. All in all, I might come back on my own for breakfast one day, as it's quite a central location, but would not bring others with me again.

A nice cafe in a narrow street overlooking Grand Place. Vibe is amazing yet the food quality is below average and a bit pricey indeed. Ordered cappuccino and black tea and none was tasty unfortunately...

  • 4/5 Stefania M. 2 years ago on Google
Good looking plates. The Buddha vegan bowl was good, tasty Bluemirella “cheese”, but it would have been better with more pomegranate in it. All in all, the ingredients were great but the flavour was a bit flat. My friend ordered a Nice to meet you focaccia, he said it was nothing out of the ordinary. A bit pricey for the amount of food. Staff was mega nice and helpful.

I tried the „Vegan sunrise“ savoury waffle but the waffle itself was so spongy and tasteless. The other ingredients, that came on top were tasting good and fresh. That dish costed 14€ The tables were so close to each other, we could share food with other customers 😀

  • 5/5 Laynie M. 2 years ago on Google
The gluten free waffles are to die for! Make sure to specify that you want other meal items gluten free if you have an allergy to gluten. Very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I had to go back for seconds it was so good!

I enjoyed my stay here; therefore I decide to come back next day too! Had The Brother Focacia Sandwich and ir was great - staff was very sweet even though they were obviously very busy, they seemed calm

Oh, boy, let me tell you about this "amazing" vegan joint in Brussels! If you enjoy gluten-free dishes and believe in cosmic compatibility, this place might be right up your alley! But if you prefer edible food and reasonable prices, you might want to steer clear. The waffle was like chewing on a used sponge, the raw cake looked more like sediment, and the smoothies? Oh, they were basically flavored ice! So, take a photo at the Grand Place, and make a swift U-turn to find a better dining spot.

It’s a brunch/breakfast place located in a tiny street close to Grand Place. We run into the place, find it cute and sit there with no expectations. However, I was expecting a little bit faster service and bigger portions. We had omlette and eggs&bacon. It was okey but tiny for the price. The place was very crowded and maybe that’s why service was super slow. The waiters were friendly however we waited for 30 mins for an espresso that we kindly wanted before the food arrives and 30 mins more for an omlette and 30 mins more for just water which never arrived. Again the staff were really kind and friendly and I understand that it’s hard to serve everyone on time when the place is super crowded but we waited too much for the food that arrived.

Good food. Friendly people. At first a little difficult because we had a big group, but after helped us to sit outside and it was very nice. Humus was good, 3 kinds and really so good with the bread. Beer tasting so so( there is much better in BXl), waffle was nice also(although they could add some sauce, little dry). White wine was very nice price quality (24 for a bottle). Falafal is really not good, but soup on the side is very tasty.

  • 5/5 Megan M. 10 months ago on Google
Excellent place for a gluten free/celiac traveler! Almost the entire menu is gluten free, with lots of gluten free beer options. The food is quite good and service is reasonable. For those sitting outside, you will have a direct view of the grand plaza, which is not the worst place to enjoy a gluten free beer! I got the beer tasting, which had all gluten free beers, and a delicious sandwich with soup. 10/10!

Extremely cozy place and vegan-friendly. Food was of great quality and tasty. Maybe a bit overpriced but I mist say that it could be also for its central location.

  • 5/5 Celeste H. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely delicious! Had a cinnamon coffee and the “Only me,” so filling and bursting with flavors. The atmosphere was lovely and the baristas were so kind. Highly recommend!

This place ticks all the extra boxes: lots of vegan options, organic and independent. And it also ticks all the normal boxes: tasty, friendly staff and cozy! It was a great, quiet and chilled atmosphere and even the WiFi was good. My partner and I enjoyed our experience. I'm definitely coming here again next time I'm in Brussels. I can't comment on the prices as I don't live in Belgium but the drinks prices seemed very reasonable.

  • 3/5 Gleyca L. 1 year ago on Google
The vegan waffles the we’ve tried were too dense and flavorless. Definitely the raspberry waffle is not good and I do not recommend! However, they offer a wide variety of vegan food, so maybe I just made an unlucky choice. The fresh juices were great!

  • 5/5 Kimberley S. 1 year ago on Google
We came here to have breakfast on my wife’s birthday and we absolutely loved the food! We are both vegan and had the vegan sunrise waffles and iced chai lattes. Definitely a must-visit if you are vegan/veggie/gluten-free or just interested in experiencing local and healthy food. We’ll be back!

  • 3/5 Michal A. 1 year ago on Google
We waited approximately 30 minutes or more, for getting our meals (3 sandwiches). Also the waiter told us that there are no more waffles but other guests who entered to the restaurant after us did got a waffle..it was really strange. The food was great, also they have vegan dishes and gluten free options.

Belgian classic in veganized version with delicious maple syrup side. Overall I had a calm morning breakfast. Beware, kitchen and bathroom are in close proximity. You may not like it when you see it. Also bathroom needs through cleaning.

This cafe is located at the grand place! A very lively place! We tried their waffle with dark and white chocolate, hot chocolate and lemon and ginger tea with honey. The waffle was good but the drinks were okay.

Amazing gluten free food and drinks including a flight of GF beers! Waffles, sandwiches, etc - a celiac’s coeliac’s dream!

  • 5/5 Rachel G. 1 year ago on Google
Stopped here looking for a good breakfast/brunch and it didn’t disappoint. Oat milk cappuccinos were delicious, the fresh-made juices were exactly what we needed after a long travel day. Breakfast toast options were tasty and made with care. A great place to sit outside and watch the crowds go by!

A truly 5 star experience, nestled in an unassuming part of Brussels. We experienced a calm vibe, with knowledgeable waiters who spoke great English that were able to provide food recommends. And the food was fantastic, no sugar in the waffles (which I love), everything gluten free and packed with nutritious ingredients. You'll not be lacking for choice for wholesome food.

  • 4/5 Juliana F. 2 years ago on Google
Great gluten free waffles! They are made with bananas which makes them even tastier! Staff was nice and the location is great! I will not give it 5 stars because I think the Waffles are too expensive. I understand they have great ingredientes but 10 euros for a waffle is to much.
