It is a recycling center. Single stream recyclables, cardboard, block styrofoam, yard waste, and scrap metal. The employees are super nice. Cardboard and single stream recyclables are accessible 24x7x365 but the other catagories require you show ID and a utility bill proving you live in Longmont. As such this service is available 08:00 - 16:00, 6 days per week (closed Sunday). It is also closed on official city holidays. This is a valuable service that contributes greatly to our city. I urge everyone to follow the rules for recycling. Put recyclables in the correct bin and don't cheat.

This was well managed. The line of cars quickly disappeared . The staff was friendly and competent. Thank you Longmont for such a good service.

I have been in Longmont for over 30 some years and it’s great we have this place. We need to be recycling and clean up this world and leave it a better place for our children. Oh sorry got carried away. You can recycle trees, leaves, grass clippings, cardboard, paper, shredded paper, styrofoam, plastic, metal, oil, anti-freeze, and I think car batteries. The staff are friendly and helpful with any questions you may have.

Great place to recycle anything but Styrofoam and film. If you live in longmont and bring a utility bill and an id you can dump Styrofoam, but I'm not a resident.

This is such a great resource for Longmont residents, it's great to be able to have a place to take stuff instead of just filling up the landfill. Thanks for everything you do!

Today was busy, never seen it before like this time. The city workers have been doing a very good job, trying to make room for everyone. But did not surprises me is that time of the year.

Easy to use... New ramps and walkways for quick dropoff. Tree and limb area is large, metal area is easy and open for dropoff, plastic bag, automotive oil and Styrofoam area is separate and easy to use.

Pleasant, helpful people at a great Longmont service!
