A little bit of everything, antiques, clothes, food, toys, and super nice lady’s running the store. We also had a cabin for the night and was a little older, but very clean, amazing views, and just a cool little place. The ice cream from the store was super good, the kids loved it and so did I!

Hill Top is a fun little junk shop in Red Feather. The new owners are very nice and welcoming. Nice place for an ice cream break. The lake is beautiful!

This store has many cool things. I recommend shopping here before you anything for camping or fishing, Hill Top General Store might have it for less. The customer service is amazing! Great people!

The Hill Top General Store is a great place to get warmed up and grab a good cup of hot coffee. There is a variety of general merchandise, new and used. There is firewood and camping goods for you, too.

First of all, I can't say enough about about the amazing staff. Real people. No plastic, fakey, city customer service. We had a room booking in Red Feather go sideways on us and had to find a place on pretty short notice. Hilltop had availability for the night we needed. I had spent some time in Red Feather back in the 80's and the Hilltop had been run down over the last few decades, but the new owners have done a great job sprucing the place up. The cabin is clean and comfortable with a kitchen. It's not The Ritz, but a great place for a very tiny mountain town get away for some fishing, hiking, paddling or golf. The store has plenty of food and drinks (including adult beverages) to support a multi day stay and many, many curiosities for browsing. Thanks for the hospitality! We'll be telling our friends.

Most unprofessional people you'll ever come across. Take your business elsewhere to the much more deserving business nearby. Edit- I am referencing my experience with the owner herself! Rude and extremely unprofessional!

What a gem of a place! My 2 granddaughters and I stayed in one of the cute and rustic little cabins in the center of the little town. They are walking distance to Gnome Road (this is a must see) and right on one of the lakes. The cabins are located right next to the general store which has just about everything you need and then some at very reasonable prices! Great ice cream, great pizza and great sandwiches served by the super nice family that owns the store and cabins. We are most definitely coming back.

Posting your hours here would be nice. Drive all the way there just to find out you're not open.

This is a really cute store. The selection of general items is pretty far and wide but very minimal in quantity. The down side was the amount of people working and the accessibility of help while in the store. It is part General store, Ice-cream shop and Antique store. While I was there I was able to navigate the entire vicinity while only seeing one person. The prices of the general items were as expected being in a mountain town. Above the average of your ordinary grocery store but still affordable.

Not a fan of all the old junk. Only like their ice cream cones.

You can get some food supplies and fishing license for the private lakes in Red Feathers. Best to go down to t Dowdy road they have a pretty good stock of food. Just not the friendliest. Our clerk kept looking at her watch. Even though we had several hours before closing. Guess she was anxious to leave. Not much personality.

This review is not just about Hilltop as a business but about the incredibly kind, generous and helpful family that runs the store and cabins. We had stayed at an AirBnB in Red Feather and were on our way home to the Denver metro when our car died. We were pretty sure it was the alternator. It was a Sunday and no garages (in Ft. Collins) were open so we were stranded. Luckily, we met a woman at the library who told us to see if Hilltop had any cabins available and they did. When we checked in and explained our situation, Arnie helped us get our car to the parking lot and called a friend who replaced our alternator for an incredibly reasonable price. Arnie even ordered the alternator for us out of his own pocket and his sister drove down to Fort Collins to pick it up! We ended up having to extend our stay another night while our car was being worked on and they gave us our room for free! I am absolutely blown away by the kindness shown to us and will recommend Hilltop to everyone and we will definitely be back soon. This experience makes me feel better about humanity. And I look forward to paying their kindness forward.Thank you Hilltop!

👍👍 I live up in Red Feather Lakes and I don't care to go down to the city so I give them alot of business and they are fair priced and they always have what I need. I've won many beats with the wife thinking they would have some item. I'll be a customer for life.
