Believe all the negative reviews! This place is infested with roaches, rodents, and flooded toilets to boot. The toilet from the room above began leaking and flooded our bathroom. Asked for a refund from the owner's girlfriend, but was very rudely denied. There are two hotels in Needles to stay at and this is NOT the one. Stay away!

Hotel room had roaches, mice and bed bugs crawling around. Dust all on bed frame. Sheets had hair and human stains so best to assume they were never washed even during Covid times. Be aware that I noticed too late the no refunds sign since you don’t go in the actual lobby area. She refused refund so she can deal with the credit card company ok not providing a reasonably safe place.

Room smelled very awful and restroom was disgusting. Towels had light brown stains on them. The owners live here and my room was right next to theirs. Woke up at 7:00AM to them arguing and cussing. On the second night I also woke up again to them fighting. The room doors don't even close all the way. This place is just nasty and ghetto. Would never come back.

Really nice place. Not alot of ammendaties but the room seems clean as well as the beds. We picked a dog friendly room which was an additional $10 but worth it. The bathtub was really awesome. The owner of the hotel seems like he is really trying to make this motel work. I would recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a cheap place to spend the night.

Smoking smell in the room. The bed is celan, the rest of the room isn't much celan. The ceil of the shower is brooken. The room is dark as only the half of the laps are working. It's definitely NOT RECOMMENDED.

Horrible place to stay. Was just passing through and needed to get out of the heat, a quick shower and couple hrs of sleep. The room didn't cool down as the AC filter was clogged making it uncomfortable so couldn't nap. No towels provided however I'd brought my own....but got out of shower to feel dirtier than when I got in due to everything being so disgusting. Pipes were showing holes in the walls. Don't understand how this establishment is still open! Big waste of 60.00

The motel is actually cute and old school, my room was nice, the front desk and housekeeping very sweet and helpful. However, I left with about a dozen bed bug bites. :( They need to burn all those mattresses and replace. Please invest in your property instead of just kicking back and collecting cash, you’re an embarrassment to America.

I would have given this place 1 star but the bed was comfortable. I had to remove the bed crumbs before laying down, heater was from the 1980's but worked like a charm. There was a water main break at night and fortunately I showered before it happened, so I feel sorry for the morning peeps... TV didn't work but hey for 50$ what do you expect. I'm not picky where I stay but for the sake of others here is my review

In 2014, a friend was helping me move across the country and one of our early stops ended up being Needles, CA. Yes, this is where Snoopy's brother Spike is from. There is a choice of two hotels in Needles, and this is the wrong choice. The building itself has a lot of problems, and the rooms and beds aren't clean. The ceiling had obvious water damage and looked like it was about to fall in, everything in the rooms looked antique in an original furnishings sort of way, and nothing was clean. The redeeming value that gave the hotel the second star in this rating is that the owners were nice people. They told me about the other hotel, places to eat in Needles, and they invited my friend and I to the bar for their son's birthday. The people of Needles were having beers and a low key party and we joined them. We had some good conversation. The moment the sun came up, I woke up with a semi-fright. It was time to get the hell out of Dodge.... Just a general feeling. The people were nice enough, but the place, just so run down was frightening in its own way. Remember, there's a choice of two (maybe more now) motels in Needles. Don't choose the Best Motel. Choose the other one!

The womanworking the front desk was very nice. I meet her when I had to go get towels.... Plumbing needed some work and I've never rented a room that didn't have a trashcan before. The roaches were good company until the learned i tend to kill them. Interesting to have cockroaches in a motel with no refrigerators or microwave to my knowledge

I'm giving it 3 stars because of the friendliness of the nice man who checked me in at 2:45 a.m. and gave me a noon checkout. The older man who knocked at 12:15pm and cheerfully gave another 15 min is also factored in favorably. Now the rest of the story: Google said $32, the sign said $35 but the man said $50. Why? "We sold out of the $35 rooms, sir". After some haggling I got it for $40, tax included. Which is about $33. This "$50 deluxe room" was very large. There were no less than 3 doors leading outside, all with cracks large enough to see through all along the door frame. There was zero toilet paper. The toilet didn't flush so maybe that's where it all went. There was a fitted sheet and a blanket on the bed, no sheet between. The TV was a small box about 30 feet away. No sense turning it on because I can't see that far. $10 deposit for remote. It was loud. I kept hearing a toilet flush and it sounded like it was in my room. Early (6-ish) in the morning there were people outside talking loudly and it seemed like they were in my room. They kind of were since we could see each other through the doorframe. Pros: Friendly people, cheap, will try to make you happy l. Cons: You have to ask for items normally considered essential, cheap furniture, falling apart building, as bare bones as a motel can possibly be.

The staff we encountered was very pleasant and helpful, the food at the porkys restaurant that is connected was fantastic! The room rate couldn't be beat and the room was adequate for our needs. No frills but everything worked and the shower had great water pressure which was a welcome change from most places I've stayed. We will stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

0 STAR Stop to sleep in Needles during our roadtrip! TO FLEE !!! Dirty room, sheets not changed for a while, dead insects and cockroaches under the bed.. And the shower room let's not talk about it I didn't even dare to sit on the toilet or take a shower it was dilapidated ! $50.... when we go back we will aim for more expensive hotels. And owners (very shady) not inclined to reimburse us in full because we left after an hour. The Indian who holds the cash register informed us that the cash register was at his neighbor's restaurant (across the street) it was dark and it was gloomy, they were shouting because they didn't want to reimburse... In short, it's scary!
