I called ahead and had to wait an hour for my food. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. They had no name for the order and made me sit inside the restaurant for another 20 minutes...and the food wasn't worth the price. They didn't seem to know how to price my food and that gave me anxiety. Are they overcharging? They only gave me $20 worth of food and I spent $35? How? Please avoid this place. And they have someone hanging out in the place?

My family and I experienced this welcoming, friendly atmosphere that has a nice selection of food tonight. The food was made to perfection and left me with a couple meals worth of leftovers and looking forward to coming back! The Pratrone Burrito is huge! They offer a punch card so you can earn a future discount too! This place is definitely worth your try! The staff is very attentive, helpful, and kind. I can't say enough! The owner brought out a couple cups of soup and some extra homemade bread for my children (who are picky eaters but gobbled this up) to eat at no charge to us while we waited for our food to be prepared. Such a generous kind gesture!!! Believe me you wont be disappointed when you eat here!

Ok, its a diner. It doesn't look great. But the food is solid. More than solid. I feel like a Mexican family decided to open a restaurant and had to include all the standard stuff. But if you want the best of what they do, order off the Mexican side. Huevos con chorizo? Excellent. Mole? Tasty. The service could use a lot of work, but let it go. Get some great Mexican food. Oh, and the pancakes, etc are also good! Portion size is outrageous. No one leaves hungry. Or in need of lunch...

Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. One male server was a bit shy but checked in as appropriate. Food: Large portions, very fresh ingredients, and well made. Price: Great prices Atmosphere: Artwork is random and unrelated. This is such a great place, but it could really make a statement with a minor visual overhaul. Simple large prints that pull in the various wall colors would make a huge difference. Bright, bold, large petal florals would work. Tie them together with wall hanging baskets. Summary It's definitely worth a visit.

My family of 4 all ordered very basic breakfast food and my bill was around $80! When I went to pay, my card was declined for an unknown reason. I hit print decline receipt and it appears as though they were trying to charge my card $203 for ear buds! Shady practices?

This place is so good, the food was hot, and fresh, and the gentleman waiting on us was so friendly! He was extremely attentive and was wiping down the tables and cleaning each salt and pepper shaker. To say I was very impressed by this young man and his business is an understatement. If you’re visiting and looking for an amazing place to grab some food with people you can trust, make sure you stop by Garden View!!!

This is a great little restaurant. Yesterday I had 2 eggs scrambled, 3 sausage links, perfectly done hash browns, and toast cooked just right. Very good service, prompt fresh food, great prices and a portable credit card swiper.

I called to ask what the hell was going on with this "stuffed french toast" and the guy said "daaamn you're mad over a peice of french toast" I wasn't looking for a refund or anything, just wanted to tell them that this isn't stuffed, it's literally a sandwich. But whoever I talked to had awful customer service skills

This felt like a typical downtown diner experience and it was great. Went here for a late morning breakfast and it didn't disappoint with the blintzes and waffles. I did wish more of the breakfast items came with sides, but it was still tasty what we got.

Bananas were in big chunks. Got sausage instead of ham. Food was terrible. Will never order from them again.

Food was average.the blintzes basically had a hunk of cream cheese put inside.definitely didnt enjoy the flies either...for the money I've had much better..

Mexican omelet and Chopped Steak & eggs were delicious. The coffee was perfect, and we never had to wait on a refill. The atmosphere is lacking but overall a great place!

Do not recommend. Over an hour wait, with no explanation why and the food wasn't even worth it. We got there with maybe three or four tables already seated around 11a - not during a breakfast lunch or a busy lunch rush. Two had already eaten and about to leave, the other hadn't gotten food yet (which their food came about 20 mins into our over hour wait & they ate and left before we even got ours). More people walked on in, and it was pretty much full after a point. Multiple of those tables got served before us. There was only the two of us for a breakfast skillet & and cheesy beef burrito. Unfortunate, we wanted to try a new, local place but left disappointed and not impressed. Pretty much highly certain, we will not be back.

Absolutely the worst on getting orders ready for Grubhub/Uber/Door Dash. The lady I talked to was very short with me and couldn't even give me an estimation time. The guy at the cash register seemed pretty nice though. I posted this on 11/5 at around 7 PM. Might want to check up on your staff....

Waited forever to pick up an order for Eatstreet. No one came out to say anything to me so I called the restaurant, finally someone walked up. Very dirty...

We ate here for the 1st time today, and we will definitely be back! The servers were very friendly, they refilled our drinks as needed, and the food came out quickly, hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Have been too Garden View quite a few times. The food is always good but the woman who owns it always seems to have an attitude. Went there for the fish fry yesterday. When people ask for a refill of fish she always rolled her eyes. Then when the bill came out we asked her to tell us how much each thing was and she's had an attitude with us again but yet she did. As we were adding the prices she came up and gave me $4 and said a gift to you . By this time I just finished adding up the bill and it was right so I apologized to her and gave her the $4 back. She said oh no you keep it you need it. I done said no I'm sorry it was my mistake. She done the state it that I need it more than her. I said wow that's an insult then she said if the prices are too high I can't afford to eat here. It's sad when the owner has to try to downplay people just for asking questions. I love the food here but I'd rather go someplace when the owners realize the place is kept open by the customers.. I saw without you knowing it they add a charge on for using credit cards. Wish i didn't ad on the $15 tip since i need the money!!!
