Its five star hotel with 5 star facilities. We recently stayed at windy woods for 3 days and had excellent time. The view from balcony was out of this world. Room size are big with good facilities. The breakfast, dinner food was amazing and the chef prepared wonderful vegetarian dishes for us. They also prepared wonderful pasta and pizza for kids. The view from dinning room and balcony is out of world. The waterfall and hiking within hotel is wonderful add on. We also enjoyed pool tables and other kids activities. My son really enjoyed towel creativity ( making various creations). I highly recommend this place to family and friends. The customer service is excellent. Staff & management is very cordial. This is very safe place for kids to enjoy peace, nature in serenity.

We had an amazing family vacation at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and made sure we had a fantastic stay with their friendly and attentive service. The restaurant breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a variety of tasty options that satisfied everyone's taste buds. One of the highlights of our stay was the in-house trekking experience. It was an adventure filled with breathtaking views of waterfalls and the soothing sound of flowing water. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the trekking expedition. Not to forget, the view from the hotel was simply stunning. Waking up to such picturesque scenery was a treat for our eyes and soul.

This is an excellent get a place. The service by the staff is exemplary. The room and food a great. Adequate amount of activities to keep us entertained. Overall a great for a family vacation. One downside is they will keep calling you to rate them, if you give them a 4 star they will either ask you to delete your rating or make it 5.

We had too many expectations of this hotel from reviews, and we were rather disappointed. The communication with the hotel for booking was poor The hotel has very nice views from the restaurant but not the rooms. The property is old but well maintained, but there is no soundproofing, which was annoying as we were next to the lift The last and most important thing to note is that this hotel is almost 4 hours' drive from Kochi, which one must be prepared for even though the road is very scenic

Rather amazing hotel which is built into a near vertical cliff overlooking a huge tea plantation. Everything goes down from reception at the top, where the road is, with the restaurant one floor down and then hotel guest rooms over the next series of floors. Knowing where you are and using the lifts is a good learning experience. There is a trail that threads down (or up) in the frame of the building complete with a waterfall bird noises and historical photos! The views from the top floors and the restaurant terrace are really stunning in decent weather.

Even though it is mentioned as a five star resort , it is truly a 7 star resort especially in terms of guest satisfaction. A beautifully constructed resort keeping nature intact. The staff is extremely cordial and friendly. The restaurant serves a good variety of food with a perfect mix of local cuisine and North Indian food. The Chef personally looks after every guest and is happy to share some recipes with guests. Was really impressed to see the housekeeping head visit every room personally and check for cleanliness. The whole hotel functions as a cohesive unit with the sole aim of guest satisfaction. Overall it was a fabulous experience for my family. Will be happy to visit again.

What a hotel! Words cannot even start to express how great is this place. From the moment we entered the gate, we were treated with warmth reserved for family members. All the staff members were respectful, smiling, and willing to go a long distance to make sure you enjoy your time with them. The cooking demonstration, the towel art class and other activities are a bonus, and the hotel staff can also arrange for sightseeing at affordable prices. Overall a very good resort with well trained and courteous staff. The resort has amazing in house trekking which has been design to meet the expectation of wild trekking and good for children. The meals have variety and options available with great taste. Disliked · North Indian food needs some more focus to meet the standards of multi cuisine at 5 star resort. But acceptance to improvise is something which is commendable.

This is one of the best resorts i have been to. The staff were really friendly and really professional. Have never seen such a wonderful hospitality. The food was really good with lots of option. Pleasant stay, nice scenery and excellent service. Good place to explore and nice view of the hill station. It was a pleasant stay at Chandys Windy woods. It is a nice place to explore. They have created artificial waterfall and in house trekking. The in house trekking was a good experience We will get a nice view of the hill station from the resort.

We had an amazing experience, would highly recommend this place. Custome services was phenomenal, staff were really kind and helpful. The rooms are great, however the height of the bed in the suite room is a concern, for elderly and also for the kids. In house trekking was a one of a kind experience.

The most beautiful and innovative hotel in Munnar. The room had a stunning view over the tea plantation and in the morning the hotel looks unbelievably picturesque surrounded by mountain mists. The staff and the service were excellent. The variety of all meals was superb. Truly recommend a stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights. Exclusive location and facilities. Rooms and staffs were up to the mark. Enjoyed with family. Missed the experience of in-house old tea shop due to maintenance, which the management need to consider with advance information to the customers.

This resort in Munnar stands out as one of the finest in terms of service and accommodations. Having experienced both the deluxe and suite rooms, it's evident that the suite room surpasses in quality. However, my rating reflects a concern regarding the serving of Christmas cake containing alcohol to all guests. This practice is perceived as disrespectful to Muslim communities. Despite the team's awareness of cultural sensitivities, continuing this approach is deemed highly unethical. The good part is they’re mentioning to the customer about the alcohol content in it and I have rejected with a beautiful smile. Expanding the scope of cultural sensitivity training could help address such concerns and enhance the overall guest experience.

Everything was elegant meant to this hotel. The hospitality, rooms, interiors, outdoors, facilities, activities...so and so on. The chef was very kind, had a nice conversation with him. If i could add a suggestion, then it would be for buffet dinner. Include more mutton & seafoods dishes for the buffet dinner also beef dishes. And there were no dishes with beef when I was there.

I stayed at the property for 3 nights and we had great time. Excellent location with beautiful views. The staff are excellent and very cordial. The Rooms and very well decorated and clean and they have excellent House keeping team. The star of the show is the restaurant team. They even arranged a little cake and decoration for my wife’s birthday at the terrace section of the restaurant. Probably the best food I have eaten in Kerala. Every night they are hosting DJ night, karaoke night and it is amazing atmosphere. They have various activities throughout the day. A splendid place to stay for family and friends at Munnar

Awesome, well designed resort. One of the best resorts in the area. Kudos to the Architect and team. The central waterfall and hiking track is a great concept(would have been better if it was made with natural stones). Great views and nice greenary. Highly recommended.

Such an amazing experience.There are no words to explain the experience we had. Food was fantastic. We appreciated the surprise welcome when we reached at the venue. The view from our hotel room was so pleasant. You could hear the waterfall and birds. Mornings were so beautiful with the nice sunrise we could see from our window.

A really good property located in Munnar. The main town is just under 10 minutes drive. The check in and checkout was super quick a d they take good care . The service is good, no complaints there. Excellent resort with vast facilities. Beyond words to describe even minute things. Moreover, all staffs are well trained and professional. They are amiable even to kids. it is doubtless that the services of the staff are the main reason behind the success of this resort. it's my first experience seeing such a cooperative staff. All credit goes to Chandy's windy woods. Besides, all foods are fresh and mouth-watering. Heavy breakfast and dinner with numerous options. All the staffs are ready to prepare the dishes even if it is not listed on their menu. Furthermore, there is a small tea shop inside the resort that enhanced the beauty and marked the uniqueness. Overall it was admirable.

Room was spacious and nicely laid. All in room amenities were working fine. The problem was the promised view in the balcony was completely blocked by trees. When we asked reception to change the room ..even upgrade..they said there is no room available to spare but promised to look into it next day. They did not change the room second day also, in fact no one even called up to say for courtesy sake that sir...we tried to change your room but unfortunately none was available. Rest everything was fine. The hotel has 3 different complex ..different lifts...half the guests were lost like us...working out the maze of 3 different lifts. Resto, rooms, forest all at diff levels and you have to change as much as 3 lifts to reach there. Food was good..not much north Indian food option for travellers coming from north side of India. We gave the feedback about the menu selection and even the taste of it but honestly we did not expect much action in that. Overall it was 4 star property...which is posing, pretending or trying to look as 5 star and charging for it.
