Amazing local non veg food. Had a good time with family. Our favourite was podi meen fry, squid roast, karimeen fry, porotta, kappa and toddy. Great location with paddy fields all around (amazing view) ! Family friendly.

Ruchiyidam serve different type of tasty shap(Toddy) food...They have Verity of dishes at economic price.. The location is really good but they have limited parking facilities...

Its basically a Toddy shop. But mamy families came there and taking very taisty Kuttanadan food. We got the information from Hotel Iswarya near Mahadeva temple Kottaysm. The food is taisty and fresh. Rate is very reasonable.

My experience at Ruchiyidam was amazing, it was a cloudy day. The combination of delicious food, nadan toody and the atmosphere was something.... beef fry and meen mulakittathu Highly recommended

I was here on a small get together with my friends in Mid Dec 2022. I would say the ambience is amazing even though the evening rain ruined it for us. We planned it due to a hype created by one of my friends. Kappa & fish curry was really good. Beef fry was awesome but the quantity is very less. Appam and parotta was good. Podimeen fry was really podi. Dear owner please take this review as an opportunity to improve. We really liked your service as such. You have to improve on the quantity aspect compared to other kallu shappu. Kallu was not so great but okay. All the best to you.

Rates are reasonable, ambience is good. Toddy shop is small and food is okay. Have tried Kappa and fish curry, beef roast and parotta. Waiting period was high. Kappa and fish Curry was ok. It was not hot. Beef roast was good along with parotta. I asked for other dishes like appam, palappam.. However, it was not available that point in time but it was not crowded. Hardly few guests were there. You can just visit when you r in chengasherry just to enjoy the ambience.
