Very calm and quiet place with dam, kids park, garden and open gym. One of the best thing in this garden is the sky cycling which started recently. That's an awesome experience and you must go for it. It will cost you only 100 Rs. Also they started the open gym, you can take the kids to the park and allow them to play, at the same time you can do the workouts near by gym

Nice place to visit with family. Evening time is apt for visit. Vehicle parking is little tough during holidays. Kids definitely enjoy this place.

A nice place at the foothills of Neliyampathi. The park is a good place to enjoy as a family group. Since they collect a fee for entrance i think it can be maintained little better

The area is preserved very nice to have real leisure experience. The view is very scenic and the gardens are good.Children can enjoy the variety of free rides inside the park.Additionall there are special rides which will be interested for kids who like to have bit adventures. The rates are economical also.Good place to enjoy with family and friemds.

It's a fun place with a children's park and has 4-5 adventure Activities. The entry fee for adults is ₹20/person and the cost for adventure activities like Valley Crossing (₹100/person), Sky Cycling (₹200/person) and some archery and stuff. Good lace for family get-togethers. Kids will enjoy it here a lot. Nice garden and kids play area. Entry fee is very less and there is less parking area available. Need to park on the side of the road.

The place is located on the base of pothundi dam, one of the oldest earth dams. It is not very far from Nemmara town and is easily accessible by bus or own vehicles. Parking is to be one on the roadside. Tickets may be obtained form the entrance gate. The garden was having a calm and quiet atmosphere. The view of the dam is very good. The garden is maintained well. There is a small cafeteria with limited drinks and snack items along with ice cream. There are good items in park for the kids to enjoy a lot. There is a fitness park also nearby. Those who are interested in adventure rides there are some interesting adventure rides like rope cycling near the other end of the garden. Going towards the end of the garden the maintenance is very poor with uncut grass and dirty ditches with smelly waste water.

Dam Situated on the way to Nelliampathy, the Pothundy Reservoir Complex is a charming location for picnics and half day trips. Parking space is adequate for big vehicles too. No fee for parking but fees applicable for garden entry. Easily accessible from roads. Highly recommended to visit during mornings or evenings with friends and family together. Fun place to hangout and spend a half day outings.

One of the good gardens associated with Dam in Palakkad district. This on the way to Nelliyambathi. There is a good garden, small park for the children to play, an open gymnasium and an adventurous park. We enter the dam through the garden. Its neatly maintained. Worth visiting.

They also provide boating services in the lake. The place is right at the foot of nelliyampathy. You cant miss it .

Pothundy Dam Best place for kids as well as youngsters and elders. The garden provides with different kinds of rides for all the age group. Well maintained. With security and Public toilet facility. The dam situates at a beautiful location in the valley of Nelliyampathy it's an earthen dam.A garden is set beside the dam which requires proper maintenance and further development for the tourists to amuse.There are so many similarities between this dam and Aliyar dam in Pollachi.

Pothundy dam was located near to Nenmara town in Palakkad district. It is like around 40km from Palkkad town and around 8km from Nenmara town. One of the good peace and calm greenish tourist spot and it is the starting point of the Nelliyampathy hills. There is a very good park and play area for kids and some few adventures rides. There is a small entry fee. And there is good parking space.

In my opinion, Pothundi dam is the second best dam in palakkad, after Kanjirapuzha Dam. Pothundi has large play area for children, adults and adventurous game zone, beutiful dam with scenic background of Nelliypathy Hill station. It's worthy, worthy.

Had a good morning run 🏃‍♂️ outta here! This is my best route to catch some fresh air at an altitude en route to Nelliampathy hills during my trip here. A lovely park maintained by the govt, has a memorial surrounded by beautiful mountains on one side and lush green farms on other. On the middle, you have the liberty to walk and see the best of both worlds. Few pictures were worth sharing here 😀 Things have changed now and I see a lot of youngsters coming here for doing some physical activity along with their trainers. Best route for cycling 🚲 though as i was informed that the road from Nemmara till the Pothundy check post is the only rubberized road and claims to be the 1st pilot project in Kerala making this Pothundy dam, made up pure soil with just huge stones for support the most unique one among all the dams!!

Very nice place to visit with Family.... Lots of playing options for Kids Snacks, water, cold drink and ice cream shops are available. You will also find an artist sitting near the main door entrance who charges very nominal charges to do pencil sketch

Located just before entring the nelliampathy range, Well maintained dam, surrounded by lush green hills. Has washroom and a canteen. Entry fees was Rs. 20/- Per head

A decently maintained garden and park at the foot of Nelliyampathy. The parking has to be done on the roadside, which might be a bit of a problem during the tourist season. Tickets need to be purchased to enter the garden. There is a small shop to buy snacks and ice-cream inside the park. There is a lot of stuff for kids to play including slides, swings, seesaws etc. Kids will definitely enjoy spending a couple of hours here. The garden is neat and well maintained. There are toilet facilities available, they may not be as clean as one in your home but it's manageable. Will recommend this as a stopover if you are planning a visit to Nelliyampathy.

This is really wonderful dam. It has scenic views in all directions. The dam is a long stretch and people can walk from one end to another end. The location also maintains a nice flower garden with long stretch of park and children's playground.

The dam is located en route to Nelliyampathy Hills. A beautifully landscaped, well-maintained garden and small park is there, also there are resting places in which you can relax some time..There is a small cool bar, from there You can buy tea,coffee, ice creams. You can go to the top of the dam by taking the steps and can see the view of nelliampathi hills and the reservoir.. There is ticket fee of 20 for adults..

Nice place to spend an evening with family. Very easy to locate and reach. Ample parking space is available. If you're going to nelliyampathy, it will be better to visit pothundi dam on return journey.

You can spend one hour or two with your family here. Not much facilities available. Definitely it's an add on point to visit on the way of Nelliyampathy hills. Dam view with the background of western ghat is the highlight. Children's play area is available in the park but it is not well maintained. One restaurant and few fast food shops are available in the nearby area.
