This bridge is the best way and easy way to enter into NELLORE CITY who are coming from the Kadapa highway and also for kovur people. We will directly reach to Ranganayakula Swamy temple through this bridge. This is a two way bridge constructed on penna river with 40+ gates to conserve water for people of Nellore city.

Officially our Nellore people can proudly say that we do have a barrage with a ample space to spend time with our friends or family. Thanks to the government of AP to complete it and we will have to make sure it can be of the tourist attractions in Nellore. The nearest and historic Ranganatha Swamy temple is an added advantage to this place to kill the time. Please don't throw plastic and let's make this place an environment friendly and peaceful place to chill. It would have been a wonderful place if the Govt can arrange more laser or LED lights just to attract more and more people.

This is the few places in Nellore where you can spend decent 30 mins.. Not much is there but ok for sometime.. Not many places are around in Nellore so this makes it a visiting places for people who want to visit spots in nellore. Not many in Nellore would visit this oftenly.. Not much crowd is there..

This is an old barrage constructed on Penna river which supplies water to the Nellore city. Unfortunately this bridge allow only one way traffic and any small trouble can affect the traffic on this bridge. Nellore people expecting one more new bride for traffic free transportation to and fro from the city.
