Uttam is in the namesake. Actually some hotels never change in ages in that example is this hotel. Very old hotel with old thoughts and a very poor customer experience. Everything is costly and not worth for the price you pay from Room to dining Telephone in room doesn't work properly you don't hear what reception or room service are saying when u call them. Mosquitos and bugs in bathroom. Forget about shower which flows in all directions and water drain sound you can hear to your bedroom Ordered chicken 65 which costed 325 + taxes with 8 pieces along with below average taste. I immediately checked out and went to another hotel better than DR uttam When u give feedback when u check out in reception they even don't care atleast no empathy. Straight away avoid this hotel and look for others

The rooms are not so clean. Mosquitos during hot summer inside rooms. Disturbance in rooms due to road side . Even after request during check-in allotted road side rooms. Even after booking extra person fare, mattress was not provided. With lot of escalations, mattress provided at 12 PM Midnight losing the sleep. There are better hotels for this rate. Parking is a problem when there is any function and no help from security or staff as we are forced to park the car outside. except the location nothing is positive. Buffet breakfast not worth. Poor and delayed serving. Looks like staff issue as only one cook available to serve all the guests. Not worth the money spent.

Close to the bus stand.. The rooms are good.. Ample car parking is available.. The maintenance of the rooms is good.. Service staff are polite and professional.. The hotel is located in the busiest centres and almost close to all important locations of the city Overall it's a good stay with family

Worst experience ever.. they provide 20 Rs MRP water bottle and charge 45 rs to the customer.. manager at the restaurant was the worst person who does not know anything about dignity. He argues like a downgraded person and does not feel ashamed for his behavior. He says. We are running 3 star restaurant and said it will be like this in the rudest possible way. When asked about theatres mrp pricing for water bottle.. He just said.. we will run the hotel this way and asked us to compliant on the hotel and try to close it, as if that hotel belongs to him

Considered to be top hotel at Nellore. Still the ambience in the rooms seem to be of old infra. But food is good and located at the heart of Market place. Friendly and supportive staff

After reviewing other people's reviews, I felt I had stayed at a different hotel. OK, I didn't sample the food here. Even after the renovations, the finishing isn't that good for a five or four star hotel. The couches on every floor are very old and are in need of some TLC. The picture in my room has been hung 90°, which made me laugh. When using the sockets it's not possible to switch them on as the plugs are overlap the switches. The shower area has no screen/curtains so the area is wet once you step out of the shower. There is no mini bar. No spoon to make your tea/coffee. The round table was unstable. Main curtains had some hooks missing or just not hooked in. One of the towels provided was very old and torn. There were two side lights, one was slightly angled. 1 was very dusty. WIFI is free, the user ID and PW will be sent to your mobile phone, but each time you go outside the hotel, you need to ask for it again. In one day I had to ask 3 times. A/C was great! The bed was clean and I had a good night sleep. As the hotel is near the main road you can be woken by the traffic noise. However, we slept through that. I have been to a few Indian hotels, but this one is in a league of it's own.

Wifi available but signal may very by room location - stronger in courtyard/lobby. Air conditioned and Western style toilets and shower available. Service was very good. Some rooms still being renovated, ask at front desk.

Location and service wise great. But rooms and surrounding inside the hotel are worse. They stink and look disgusting. Not worth paying 5k for a suite...

Located in a small, busy and noisy area, but inside the hotel is calm and rooms are good. Service is also good and responsive. Food is very satisfactory. Complimentary Breakfast is available here from morning 8:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Expectations was very high comparing to 15 yrs past visit & taste of banquet food was not acceptable, quality was very low & made us to feel embarrassment in front of our guest.

If you are planning to celebrate any function here, it's better to hold your thoughts. They charge a bomb for each plate however, the food they serve is definitely not up to the mark. Even the welcome drink they serve (we chose badam milk, which is included in the pre-set menu ) will be only half filled in the glass and that too at room temperature (not chilled at all). I celebrated my child's first birthday here (for about 80-100 friends and relatives) and the guests are highly disappointed in terms of food they serve. Do not expect high when they show you the menu and the list of items in it. What you receive on the day of celebration might be the same but it may only be worth half the total amount you paid.

No basic standards at all. Only ground floor reception is well cleaned rest all amenities are waste. No proper maintenance.. Bathrooms are not hygiene better choose some other option around

The hygiene is very very very poor in the restaurant, rooms and all areas of the hotel. This is evident to any guest who walks in. If there was a negative rating I would give this place a - 5. The breakfast was average. The tables and chairs were unclean, the cutlery & crockery were unclean. Cockroach in the glass tumbler. The linen in the bathroom stink & bedsheets in the room are not washed. Simply reused. I went into the back room & was shocked. See the pics. This place should be shut by fssai who has given them 5 stars as per a certificate they proudly showcase in the reception. Fssai truly has no clue on what their mission, vision and values are. D R Uttama the owner has no clue on what is happening in his hotel. I feel sad for him.

It is one of the top lodging facility in Nellore with good maintenance. Good lounge for meetings, birthday functions.

I am familiar with this hotel for the last 15 years. Still this is very good. Not outdated. Good maintenance. Clean toilets. They are upgrading in many aspects. Food is good.

stayed here for more than 4days, Very clean rooms, everyday house keeping is done, also a good buffet breakfast is available, every day menu changes but the mutton biryani with mirchakasala is favourite here... After all, the staff here are very polite and supportive... They helped for taking print outs in late night... I wish to stay here for my next trip...

Excellent interiors and lovely food. If you're a food lover must go place. You get authentic food and global cuisine too. Their new sweet shop is very very good. Delicious sweets for economical price. Packaging too is superior. A 5 star experience.

Hotel ambience is good. Staff are polite. Hygiene is maintained well. Service is slightly slow. Rooms are good but there is continuous noise from outside (Generator / exhaust). This will not let you have a pleasant stay. Pricing is ok

Poor payment channels - cards won’t be accepted as they have 3 machines but none of them are useful and failed to work when we are paying in through credit cards (they said simply server issue). Instead They should have mentioned that only cash is accepted. Food is average - deserts are below average . I believe strong reforms should bring to bring the hotel back like how it was in past .

we had a buffet on Sunday 14th August as we were serving food I found a cockroach and informed to manager he just removed it and was silent very dirty is where cockroach is found he just refused to clean it. the food was totally spoiled

Rooms are very bad, windows aren't cleaned, food is terrible and when I lookedout the window there was a bird skeleton on the balcony thing.. mosquitos were everywhere and everything was so dirty including towels and there were leaks in our roofs. We moved to different rooms three times and it was still bad. never come he unless doin an Oni function or something

The hotel has lost its Prime Glory of the past.. it's not the usual self..Rooms are ok and maintained ok.. there's a lot of room for improvement on the maintenance front..The lobby is moderate..the restaurant is recently renovated , the ambience is nice and the food is good..Parking is a tight squeeze , you can only park below 15 cars..The only advantage is the location as it is located at the center of the Town..

It's not the D R UTHAM hotel anymore which I knew way back in 2014.We've stayed there for 2 days last month(October).The standards have come down very much. The entire hotel including the lobby filled with cigarette smell.Rooms were untidy. I've complained the same to the reception staff on duty at 9PM,which he didn't even bother to answer.I was very much disappointed 😞 Breakfast was good though.
