The railway station has been maintained neatly in recent days, you will be having waiting hall with AC, seperate waiting hall for ladies, for the travellers there are somany benches and seating platforms are provided. Each platform is provided with digital display of coach position. My overall experience here was good.

Neat and clean. But still have to improve

Nellore railway station Neat and Clean and it has good facilities like the elevator, Lift which is good for senior citizen, drag and drops ways which are good for people who have language. The platform has sufficient chair for people. One problem I found there that is the parking issue otherwise everything is good.

It's a neat and clean railway station , provided with all public amenities like waiting hall , wheel chair accessible platform , washroom for differently abled persons etc. And the station is well maintained and filled with greenery . Now new platforms , public toilet and foot over bridge to cross track also arranged .

I went to Nellore, DK Govt. College for Women as a Resource person. I was struck by the friendly attitude and warmth of the people there. Food was also good.

Nellore railway station is one of the best, clean and most available mode of transport. You will have many trains for Visakhapatnam, Bubaneswar, Howrah. Similarly to Chennai, Katpadi, Tirupati and Yeswantpur. One small trick if you are late. Platform 1 - Towards Hyderabad, Platform 2 - Towards Vijayawada, VSKP, Howrah, Platform 3 - Towards Gudur, Can be to Chennai Or Tirupati or Yeswantpur (I won't say these are dedicated but most times these are the platforms). I really appreaciate The Railways for keeping it clean. Mainly the cleaning workers.

It's first time for me visiting and boarding at Nellore railway station and I felt happy with the enclosure. Platforms are maintained neat and rest rooms also found good and comfortable. It's developed nice and one of the best railway stations in Vijayawada- Madras section.

Hai friends... Nellore railway station is 3 km away from bus stand. U can get no of share autos from bus stand . This is not origin station for express trains. But it is major junction. U can get trains towards Chennai and Tirupati and vijayawada ...These are the major stations where u can get any trains. U can use rail wifi here. Any this station is ORIGIN station for LOCAL TRAINS to Chennai and Tirupati and vijayawada and Ongole. D mart is located 5 km away from here. The address is Annamayya Cir, Ravindra Nagar. So many shopping malls available here in Nellore. SBI ATM is available out side the west entry near platform no. 1.

It was raining almost all the time I was there, inner roads can be improved and the most pleasing thing was the affordable rents of the houses. The Penna bridge was nice , Highway roads were properly maintained, railway station is also good. They could have started elevator services for ease of carrying luggage by passengers. Didn't find full digital display of trains.

Disgusting atmosphere. Advertisement TVs irritate you every minute. And also these SBI Credit card marketing people also unnecessarily argue with you and also force you to take credit card. Ambika agarbatti add is more and more disgusting, it's very loud and irritating wherever you go in the station. Station master should do something about it. I think these station masters will get commission from these agarbatti companies. These station deserve zero star. But what to do, we can't give review without giving even a single star.

Station maintenance and platform maintenance little good... It smells beside lifts and under steps on the platforms, so more cleaning maintenance is need. Mosquitoes are so high, in night times passengers are so suffering. Drawback is Not all the trains stop here. Autos are available for 24 hours from the station. Waiting halls and Washrooms in it should be maintained more neatly. Electronic ticket maintenance machine is too worst.

Please replace the digital display board to large one in 4th platform side entrance and display all upcoming trains in order. It rarely displays train names and numbers. It always shows "welcome to nellore" only. It's really difficult for the people coming from 4th platform side to confirm their platforms. The station is neat and good. But need to improve a lot as the district headquarters.

Has escalators and Lifts to most of Platforms. General waiting hall & Ladies waiting Hall available on Platform 1. Sadly AC waiting hall not available. Back side entrance (Platform 4) is closer to main road, than front entrance which is towards platform 1. Easy way to exit from platform 3 is to wait till train leaves the station and to walk towards front end of railway station (towards Chennai direction) and to cross the railway tracks.

Railway stand in covid 19 situation is maintained fantastically.

This railway station has 4 platforms. Escalators and Elevators are available for getting on to the over bridge to reach your required platform. Big but not very crowded station. Cleanliness needs improvement. Many hotels are available nearby. Bus station is less than half a kilometer away from here.

Nellore city is located on chennai - vijayawada national highway . River penna & swamy thalpagiri ranganadh swamy temple is very famous spots. For veg food komala vilas & murali krishna sweets is excellent quality hotels. Nellore is District head quarters.

Good City to visit

Good station like any one. But basic requirements like water fruits biscuits tea coffee etc available mostly. But no full fledged VLR which is at gudur and khana on trains delivered here. Most delhi bound vizag hyderabad tirupathi trains pass with halts for 2 mts mostly. But many passengers sit in reserved seats and hesitate to vacate for booked passengers which is hassle here always. Ramp lift escalator facilities are available. Mosquitoes are menace in seats in platforms.

Good station with stoppages of all express mail fast passenger trains, it has 2nos Gates of entry n exit. & One over bridge. And escalator & Lift facilities are available. Ticket counter are also available at both entrys. Don't cross track it's having treat to be hit with train

Safety and staff behaviour wise it is good. However, they should maintain better in this Pandemic conditions, outlet staff are not wearing masks at all and platforms are bit filthy. No cleanliness near catering outlets

Very clean and good amenities. Lift and escalators available, enough place to get shelter from rain and sunlight. Washrooms are just okay. Easy Transportation from the station.

The station location is good and very clean entrance in the morning. The walls have been painted with quotes and pictures of Gandhi ji. The subway leading to the platform could have been a little more cleaner. As it is not a major station, some trains stop only for like a minutes. So you have to get on or off fast. The waiting room is clean. This is a good location and connected to either side of road.
