Srikalahasti is a must visit place if you are a Shiv Bhakt. It was personally very calming and spiritually rich experience for me. I went through general darshan line at 6 AM and got to do the darshan in 1.5 hours. It is recommended that you start early. I would definitely suggest going there. Two things that disappointed me are: 1st there are more price tags then temples within the temple. The priests won't give you a feeling of a saint but more of a salesman. 2nd thing is that there is no actual photo of the Srikalahasti shivling available. All are edited. Not a single authentic photo to take home with you. Apart from that everything was great.

This is a small town temple, famous for rahu ketu pooja, rahu ketu poojas are performed everyday ,temple is very well maintained and clean inside, but the outside premises are not that appreciated, Lot of scammers and fraudsters will be waiting for you to cheat there, be careful, don't buy anything outside the temple Take your own vehicle for better experience of travel

Srikalahasti is a Shiva pilgrim temple. It is located on the Bank of Swarnamukhi river. Approximately 40 km distance from Tirupathi. Pilgrims generally visit Srikalahasti after lord Venkateswara Darshanam in Tirumala. In Srikalahasti temple, we see the great indian rock sculpture.

Every step emotional blackmail, services are very poor, management & poojaris are for only for rich people & their superiors. Every step bribe, when people realise and boycott temples then we can see change

This Artur was built by Sri Krishna devaraya... It is very good to see ling heights.. Recently it can be damaged by high floors that can be renovated by the government... It is good to see and it is near and opposite to the srikalahasthi temple... This temple is amazing. Everyone must see it....

It was a sudden plan from Bangalore -Kalahasti-Bangalore within 18 hours. Direct bus fron silkboard to Sri Kalahasti bypass arch (Rs 499/- per head) then sharing auto for 1.5 kms(Rs 20/-ph). Refreshed in dormitory (Rs 50/-ph) went to 7 am RKpooja (Rs 500/- ticket for 2 persons) came back @9 am and had break fast a local resto (Rs 60/- ph) . Since we didn't find direct bus from Kalahasti to bengalore at 10:30 Am. We went to Tirupati by bus (65 kms/1.5 hr/120 ticket)then after lunch @ tirupati bus stop(for Rs 90/- ph) boarded bus at 2 pm to Bangalore and reached home by 8 pm. Divine journey
