Vedagiri lakshmi Narasimha swamy temple is very famous and very populor temple in nellore . It is very beautiful place, located on the top of the hill , Cool wheater . It is just near to jonnawada kamakshi thalli and mallikarjuna swami temple. On top of the hill we can see 2 turbines. Own vehicles can go or autos will be there for going hill top . It is very pleasant and calm place to visit with family or friends .You will enjoy a lot .

A plesent traditional place on top of the hill, lot of places around here other than Narsimha swamy and Lakshmi devi temples, the gopala swamy temple here is also a good place and the devotional 7 lakes where the stala purana says sapta maharishis performed yagas for the lord is a no missout place. The wind wanes here give the place an austonishing look like topings on a cake, and i noticed they are planing to arrange dasavatarams of the lord vishnu here in the near time, noticed very carefully sculptured statues at the tourist arrival center if it's so this will be a good addition to such a devine place, the view of nellore town and the surrounding villages from the top is awesome.

Located on the hill top surrounded by green fields. You can feel the divine greatness on reaching the temple premises. Must Visit place in Nellore. Darshan timings: 6AM to 12PM & 4PM to 8PM. Anna prasadam is available daily upto 1PM. How to reach: Public transport isn't convenient enough for families. Prefer going by own vehicle or book local auto from Nellore railway station/ bus stand which charges you 450-550/-. Ghat road and steps are available to reach the divine shrine. Happy journey 💜

Nice temple and nice hill to climb in car! All the 9avatars of ramar has been kept as statue upon coming the him via car. It’s just 1-2 kms hill. Nice place nice scenery, windmill sound will swoosh you 😊 Nice temple, good blessings!

Recommended to visit in early morning or evening as it is very hot in the afternoon. Windmills are very close. Views were also good. The way up had all the dash avatars of lord Vishnu.

Very favourite place of pilgrimage God is great

Visit the temple in the evening hours to have a beautiful view of the river and town around the hill. Just very near to Nellore with Jonnawada temple on the other side of Penna river joined by a bridge across. The mini Ghat road leads directly to the temple entrance without much pain of walking. Even the few steps are easy to climb as climbing bars are along the steps.

Vedagiri Laksmi Narasimha Swamy temple is worth visiting and happy to go there. Bike or car journey would be enjoying since the way is good covered with plants and trees. Road is clear about 90% but 10% would be struggling a bit. Avoid this route during heavy rains. The entry ticket is 10rs to go inside temple. But we can do darshan from outside for free. Ammavari darshanam will be at upstairs with few steps. View from top is great. There is a windmill and few view points. Autos will be available from nellore. Who would charge 800 - 900 for jonnawada and Konda Narasimha swamy. Have a wonderful visit and get blessings from God.
