It is rare that I give a 5 star rating in all categories, but I would give 6 to Pitchfork if I could. We found this spot for breakfast, but I would be happy to come back again for lunch or dinner. The food is made with quality and care, delivered to the table with a smile, and the cozy atmosphere is perfect. My eggs Benedict were amazing and the Bloody Mary delicious. Wow.

Great cocktails. Beautiful location up the hill. Unfortunately, the outside space was closed, because its really nice to sit there. Food is excellent quality, staff was friendly.

Super quaint little place - we only stopped in for cocktails which were fantastic! A bit pricey for the amount you get but you won't be disappointed because they taste delicious!!

Had two excellent dinners at Pitchfork on a recent visit to Nelson. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is delicious, cocktails and wine list are impressive. The Old Growth cocktail is fantastic! Pairs well with the calamari. Also loved the pan seared Brussels sprouts. Seared char was perfectly cooked with a crispy skin. Burger was tasty and clearly a fan favorite; everyone seemed to order it. Second night we enjoyed the mussels and clams in a really good broth and a well-executed tuna poke bowl. This is a great restaurant and worth going early if that’s the only reservation you can get.

My wife and I had a wonderful evening at the Pitchfork Eatery this evening. The service by all, particularly our server, Sylvia, was fantastic and the food was divine. One of the very best meals we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back! FYI - I had the crispy skin chicken and my wife had the seafood duo - each an absolutely inspired creation. .

We shared a half order of poutine that was very delicious. The gravy was so flavourful as well as the potatoes. The cheese curds were fresh & yummy! Drinks were delightful though small portions. Overall a really lovely visit! Thank you Kristen for your recommendations 🙏

This is the best place I have ever eaten at. By far the best Eggs Benedict I've ever experienced in a restaurant - it's such a hit and miss restaurant dish, but this place NAILED it. I had the benny with wild mushrooms. The savory mushrooms coupled with the lemony creaminess of the hollandaise was such an incredible pairing. Coupled with home grown roasted potatoes and house made ketchup, it was a delightful, delicious meal. The whole esthetic, the background music, the staff, the whole character of this place was just perfect. Everything complemented each other. My only sad thought is that I don't live in Nelson (or BC) and it'll be forever before I return. If and when I do, Pitchfork Eatery will be at the top of my list of reasons to. Thanks for such an incredible experience!!

Had Sunday brunch here. Patio is positively beautiful. Service was slow and a little sassy though. The slow service was understandable, but the attitude from one of the servers bringing our plates was not appreciated. Had the Wild Mushroom Benny ($16), which was delicious. Eggs were perfectly poached and I loved the touch of dill. They don’t do substitutions so I added a side salad ($6). It was good, but not worth the price. The server asked if we wanted ketchup and hot sauce, which I thought was free, but apparently it was an upsell for their homemade versions. Both were $1 each and he gave us each our own set. Really didn’t need that much for the table. Would’ve been happier with regular ketchup. I’d come back again to try the burger and experience a live show here, but make sure to always ask about extra charges.

Our reservation was taken easily and we received a note that out table was ready. Service was great. We ordered some appetizers a feature chicken dish, a steak and a burger. They were are prepared well, but were ALL abit salty and we gave that feedback. My friend visiting from another country commented that his burger was the size if a slider; It was. My other friend didn't complain but his steak portion didn't look amazing either. The chicken portion was good and tasted good, just a tat salty. The drinks, coffee and service were all great. Portion, value and over salty.... all things I'd mention.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in awhile. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming with friendly service. We were there for brunch and I had the warm root vegetable salad. It was incredible—full of flavor and a beautiful presentation. My partner had the burger of the month, which was also a hit. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Second time here, I cannot begin to explain the delicious excitement you get here, you’re guaranteed to have delicacies, that’s it, amazing, atmosphere here is splendid as well. All the cocktails are amazing, presentation and all, the frequent changing features enhance the desire to come back more and more. By far, one of the best places you could ever eat. I would completely come out of my way to eat here. Beyond fantastic. This visit I had the cabbage rolls and started with the smoked arctic char (must have) ate it too fast to grab a photo. Dessert was the citrus cheesecake, great, two cocktails old growth forest, and the strawberry negroni, amazing.

Stopped in lastnight after going through the night market. Lucky enough to get a table on the patio after a short wait. I had the Backyard Burger and it was probably the best darn burger I've ever had. So amazing. I LOVE that they use local ingredients. My friends had the lemonade and one was infused with lavendar....they said it was heavely lol. The atmosphere is amazing. I'll definitely be back.

Great service and cocktails. Calamari was by far the best, love the addition of candied salmon and sauce. Mains were a massive letdown at the price. Fish of the day, tuna was just a large cold hunk on lettuce. Stick with the burger, it's a solid choice.

The best Restaurant in our area. We love the food. Always top notch With presentation, technique and execution. We love this old building and are so pleased to see Pitchfork doing such a good job here. Olivier was our server and he is a total natural. Comfortable with just the right amount of knowing how to give space and pleasant formality. Shout out to Zeva too. She’s a wonderful, professional server and it’s always a pleasure to see her. We shared our dishes. The calamari is unique and delicious. We love the Brussels sprouts and the burger is always number one! The drinks list is creative while still being approachable with a nice range of mid to high range price options. We topped it off with a gorgeous vegan choc hazelnut dessert. These days it’s a challenge having a date out to be perfect hitting all the checklists of service, ambience and food. Thank you Pitchfork for making our November day so cozy and wonderful. xo Richard and Jill *Photo from one of our previous visits a couple years ago.

Amazing gluten free restaurant! The food was absolutely fantastic from appetizers to dessert. We had a group of 8, 4 kids with us and they loved their food too. Definitely quality and you can see that the chef put his heart into making it perfect. I wish the staff stopped by the table more often to check in. Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend.
