You first get there and it seems like a very casual cafe but after having the food I am blown away. They cook everything top tier. I've paid way more for way worse quality food. If I ever have the option I am definitely going to come eat here again.

I was so pleasantly surprised! It isn't your average ice cream burger place in a park! They have something for everyone, vegetarian, burgers, hot dogs, regular and sweet potatoes fries, great looking salads, and kombucha on tap!! Great place to grab a bite after paddle boarding and playing in the park!

They have delicious food here and they make their own fries. They also have ice cream. And if you're vegan, that's not a problem here. It's so nice to go to Lakeside Park to enjoy community events or just a nice stroll to enjoy the views, as well as have options to enjoy the beach or rent a kayak for a very small fee, and have access to good food when you get hungry, or just want a snack. They have lovely tables with umbrellas for shade from the sun for outdoor dining, with views of pretty flowers and Kootenay Lake. :)

Cute little cafe! Sits right outside a large playground and is perfect to grab coffee, decent food or popsicles/ice cream while the kids play. There are only a few tables (covered) so bring a blanket for a picnic in case its busy.

Love this spot. Great burgers, ice cream and such. The unsweetened house made popsicles are awesome. And they do a proper tea service which is just super.

Great place to visit in summer

It's more of a cantina then cafe. The good. I've always Really liked having dinner in the park, it's so relaxing and peaceful some how. The food can range from good to quite good food for a cantina. I love it's location. I love the playground right by it. I love that they have tables or you can eat in the park at tables or on blankets. It's fantastic for families. Bathrooms are easy and reasonably clean. The bad This summer it seamed to suffer from issue after issue. I went many times and sometimes they were out of the item I wanted or the priece of equipment they needed to cook it wasn't working or the kitchen staff were on break. It seamed to be poorly run this summer. I do recommend them.

Beautiful location in the park next to the beach. Personally I didn't like the brown bread for hotdogs. Rest was fine.

Lots of interesting choices in a beautiful park and beach to lake

The food was definitely good, of the highest food quality I would say. Would I eat there again? Not sure as I didn’t actually eat there, yet! But I will be soon. Why? Because me and my kids are hungry. Why not? Amirite? UPDATE: we indeed did eat here and I stand by my review. They even gave me a silver platter to take my food out to the beach for my family. It was likely more of a zinc tin alloy, but it sure did look like silver!

This cafe is the most beautiful and yummy food provider. I love every aspect of the cafe....😍😍can't wait to have yummy fries, triple size of the favourite ice-cream, yummy creamy coffee, 😋😋 again very soon....
