TLDR: Powder capital, best ski in Canada. There really isn’t anything to hate about Revelstoke. The snow is always in abundance, the powder soft fresh and silky smooth, the moguls soft, and the groomed trails are packed with a punch. Only downside is the lower mountain trails, especially the ones connecting the lower Stoke terminal to the Gondola mid-station and the base. These trails are always relatively to extremely unmaintained, and even if they say they are opened, they can have so much exposed grass and rock it appears ridiculous that anyone with common sense would still believe it is “open”. Besides that, the small mountain in addition to the remoteness of this mountain and its corresponding town allows for a fun, awesome, quiet, and line-free experience without the crowds of Lake Louise or Banff Sunshine. 12/10 would recommend.

Some beautiful views of Revelstoke and surrounding mountains make it worth it to journey to the top of the second gondola. Unfortunately not many of the summer hikes were accessible due to high snow levels. There is a good selection of food at the top little restaurant. Long lines and fast sell outs making getting your turn on the coaster tricky during busy weekends. The ropes course and axe throwing were fun and unique. We ran out of time to try the disc golf course. It will be great when more restaurant offerings and shops are built.

This resort is huge and vast. The first time skiing there, I lost my way. It's worth trying the highest elevation and longest run in Canada.this resort is also part of mountain collectives pass that you can get half price discounts from other partner resorts like sunshine or lake louise. It is open until mid April and after that is closed for maintenance and then reopens for mountain biking and trails hiking. The pipe mountain coaster is a unique experience for you and your kids.

I fell in love with this place! The mountain resort is the only or one of the few ones in BC that allow paragliding pilots to use the lifts and take off in the resort. Just amazing! I did my first really long thermal flights there. Amazing views. Not just paragliding, also hiking and many other things can be done here. I wanted to stay 5 days in Revelstoke and ended up staying almost 4 weeks. I just love this place!

We spent nearly a week here and it still didn't feel like we ran out of things to do (or beautiful scenery) - very worth the long long drive out from Calgary. Bit too many moghuls by mid-day but they were soft, powder moguls so can't really complain :D

We had a fantastic time. Did some hiking, mountain biking and the pipe mountain coaster. We asked for assistance with directions and a patroller named Mike was able to help us. He's super knowledgeable, very friendly and approachable. He even recommended the restaurant at the mountain when we asked if there was anywhere good for lunch. Man was he right. Everything we ordered was delicious! We can't wait to come back again.

We were there on a beautiful, clear day. Gondola was only open part way up the ski hill and most eateries were not open yet (early season hours still). The Pipe Mountain Coaster looks to be a popular, family friendly activity!

Nice little mountain spot. Visited in the summer and participated in the pipe coaster. It was AMAZING! I highly recommend the experience but expect long wait times - our queue time was estimated at 1 hour when we arrived but it took two hours by the time we finished. I highly recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. Once on-site you scan a qr code to get your place in a virtual queue and then also scan your reservation qr code to get your gondola ticket. A few restaurants are at the base of the mountain as well as a retail shop and a spa.. Note that once you take the gondola up to the pipe coaster there are only port-a-potties available and no concession stand. There are also no hiking trails at this point, only a scenic view to take in as you wait in another line.

Awesome experience! Pipe coaster is a must do, good for kids over age 4 and the ride takes about 3 minutes. You can buy passes including different activities. Woukd recommend to go till top of Mountain for hiking.

The pipeline coaster is great fun. Ask the person working there if you can let the person I'm front finish before taking your turn as people like to go slow and it socks getting stuck behind someone and having to stop constantly but if you get down and that happens they will let you ride for free a second time. Really cool place , don't miss it if you're in the area. Also track 1 is better than track 2

Took my nephew on the mountain coaster, he absolutely loved it. One of the ticket options is 2 rides (there are 2 rails), axe throwing and free gondola up to the top, worth doing for the views. There is a small 15-20 minutes hike at the top as well you can do after having a nice burger & fries. A must do.

Bought the play all day pass so we could try a bit of everything. The mountain coaster was the highlight of our time here. Super friendly staff. Had lunch on top of the mountain which was a neat experience. Best burgers we’ve ever had, highly recommended the basic burger and fries if you have the chance to stop in at the restaurant!

We got the play all day pass, you can buy in advance and save 15% my son did the pipe coaster, aerial park and axe throwing. You can pick the number of runs for the coaster. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We went mid-week so not too busy. Spent about 4 hours at the mountain and finished with lunch at the McKenzie Outpost at the top of the mountain, best burgers in Revelstoke.

Had a great day here in the summer riding the mountain coaster, axe throwing and playing dishing before taking the gondola to enjoy the views. Great day here with very nice staff and fun activities. Super nice experience with just a small disappointedly very few, pricy food options.

Absolutely bomb skiing, we skied on the mountain McKenzie for four days, and we got a chance to ski most of the mountain and fortunately got snow dumped on us! The resort was EMPTY Christmas Day and during the week, the only exception was the Saturday of Christmas Eve and we had to wait in some lines. I definitely recommend lighting rod and the north bowl. I’m an advanced skier and the north bowl is epic if you go up to the sub summit area.

Loved our time spent here. Great fun on the Pipe Coaster - that's a must!! The gondola is a great way of seeing the fabulous views - especially from the top! Lovely restaurant there serving fantastic food. Great place for hiking & mountain biking too. Highly recommend a visit!

This morning, there was heavy cloud cover in Revelstoke, and it looked like a very gray day. After a short ride on the gondola, I was pleasantly surprised to find a gorgeous bluebird day (see photos) and lots of good snow that was mostly packed powder. The bump runs were fairly gently carved, making for some excellent glade skiing on the double blacks. Days' end came too quickly, and I was sad to be skiing down The Last Spike. I had a nice beverage at the restaurant/bar and went back to my hotel feeling wonderful. I love this mountain and the town of Revelstoke for all it has to offer. Off to helicopter skiing for the next 5 days with CMH!!

There might not be many lifts but the lifts they have are extremely efficient, and services a huge amount of terrain. There's great tree-skiing for all levels (check out the trees next to the Gnome Zone for beginner-friendly trees). Recommend the Revelation Lodge for food - much more spacious and comfortable than the Mackenzie Outpost. My only beef with the resort is that it's lousy with traverses, and the ski to snowboard ratio is quite high.

We didn't stay at the resort but visited for the day to ride the downhill trails. Awesome time. Short waits if any for the gondolas on a gorgeous Saturday was a pleasant surprise. One member of our group had a nasty spill and the Patrol staff were professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly.

😠 ATTENTION! Especially if you are visiting for the first time. No doubt the ride is fun but the wait time and policies sucks. I visited this pipe coaster from the lower mainland ( about 7 hours of drive). During my first visit they said all the tickets were sold out by 11 am, which I understand. Then...

😠 Trash! I was rejected from my childs grade 5 fieldtrip today over outdated vaccine passport. Not because I'm unvaccinated, simply because I won't prove it.
