This is a great beach for kids and dogs, plenty of parking and very clean. Recently redesigned and landscaping has elevated this space to provide a great riverside experience.

Park was recently redone. Its clean, pretty and easy to navigate. There is a sweet little beach with soft sand that is perfect for kids to play or to lay out and nap. When we were there it was nice and quiet and relaxing and not busy at all. Its located close to a market (Evergreen) as well so grabbing some food and having a picnic at Crescent Valley Beach Park is a great/ easy/ fun activity. Lots of parking and there are bathrooms as well.

Strong current in places. When the water is low, the swimming area is more of a wading pool. Dogs not allowed for certain periods of the year, heed signage. No glass or debris in the sand from my experience, but your mileage may vary. Busy swimming hole when I was there.

When I lived in Castlegar, I must’ve driven by this beach a hundred times but never stopped. It is a beautiful piece of serenity well-worth the visit. I imagine it gets busy in the summer if the water isn’t too fast/choppy. It’s great to see how well taken care of this spot is and I hope it stays that way. Stop in if you need a nature-fix and listen to the water flow by.

Most of the beach is rocky and the water is fast moving. It is clean pleasant place to spend the day.

Beautiful area for spending time with the family and friends, except the fact that some of the dog owners seem to think that they are intitled to bring their dogs. Sure would be nice if a bylaw officer would pass by on a regular basis.

No dogs on the beach from may to September. We walked past the beach and found a spot near the edge where the dogs could swim. No shade on the beach side son couldn't stay as long as we wanted.

This is a beauty spot on the river. Catch the sun like a tree. I love watching the kayakers practicing here. The river is always changing.

Great walk, bring the dogs off leash on the other side of the park boundary. (heading towards the frog peak cafe).

It's a fun beach, but not much of it is sandy. It gets insanely busy on a nice day, so get there early.

    Beautiful spot. A must see

Very nice little park. Only complaint not designed for trailers. All parking was for cars. We have a 25ft trailer and parked close to the fence. Along the hwy not alot of places for trailers to stop.

So cute! The beach is large and sandy (for the Kootenays) and the mill ruins are very interesting.

Beautiful xeriscape garden and gazebo. Great job on the bathrooms, parking lot and paths. Would be nice to have a dog friendly zone but okay to have dogs onleash through park (not beach) to outside the park.

I just want to thank everyone for doing their part to keep socially distant and also clean up the garbage on this treasure of a swimming spot. It was nice to feel the cool waters of the Slocan again!

We joined all our tubes and did a three hour float. Rope swing and a couple of small Beach's. Even some deep spots for a swim. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
