I went to the Ora E. Anderson Nature Trail today and it is beautiful. I also noticed how scenic State Route 278 in between the nature trail and the town of Carbon Hill is. I took some pictures of this small section of State Route 278 and Wayne National Forest.

Wayne National Forest is my personal favorite in the state of Ohio. I love the trails for hiking, water falls, creeks and scenery. It is a real place to get away from it all and relax. There are plenty of attractions and it is easy to loose yourself in the beauty of the forest. They also offer AWESOME ATV and motorbike trails. My husband's family has a cabin there and we go at LEAST once a month. I don't know how I would do normal life without that get away!!

Archers fork was a nice loop trail. It was a challenge but doable. Nice trail and kept up. Make sure to gauge your water supply, there is some around but if it's been a dryer week there isn't much.

This area is beautiful. Many great ways in, it, and around within to see the spectacular views of how life is meant to be system with nature. Always a favorite area during the change of seasons. Motorcyclist Enthusiasts enjoy the beginning of fall for the changing of the leaves. So many public access parks to have a picnic, trail hike, or just a short break from your travels. Some parks are equipped with play areas for the Littles, restrooms for the families, and classic openings for walking the fire babies. I noticed more birds and butterflies there than I have in central Ohio. I have friends and family living in the area so it's a great excuse to visit them and save time for a trip to the forest.

The only reason I'm giving this five stars is because our property borders it.... It would be nice if the DNR would actually come out and do some work cleaning it up but other than that. And it would be real nice if random people would quit parking on our property when they come out to hunt on Wayne national Forest land.

I love this place. I live here, so I am very biased. However, it is a peaceful and beautiful place to see in every season of the year.

So much to explore. Three different districts of the forest to adventure through.

Love riding here with 50 inch machines. Good for day trips or could go through most of the ATV trails in 2 days or 1 day Hussle. Good place for beginners before getting into the harder riding in Hatfield. Does have some tricky spots keep things interesting. If you want rougher trails go to Perry as they have much more challenging obstacles .
