The ambience is good, old fashioned but warm. Good service and good food. Their cakes are delicious. I loved their furnisher and deco, the gramophone took me back when my late father used to play King's messagers quartert records. The nursery is so beautiful, my kind of vibe! I enjoyed every moment. Thanks to my family that I was visiting in Nelspruit.

Very interesting and well decorated place. Huge variety on the menu. We had curry and rice, and quiche with salad. It took a while to come, but the food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Friendly staff

This place is just close to my heart. A good old fashion farm stall with all the breakfast and lunch trimmings. Old school. Down to earth. I love to escape from the modern world and come here. Great coffee too! Probably one of the top 3 coffee spots in the Lowveld.

What a quaint little place to stop. Wow. They have alot of little goodies to buy, from locally made clothing, to rusks, jams, etc. Shop is clean and staff are so friendly

I was slightly disappointed by the quality of the food served in the coffee shop. None of the people in our group was happy. The service was good, not the food. The adjacent nursery stock extremely high quality plants and knowledgeable staff is friendly and helpful. The gift shop has a good variety of products to take home etc. Clean toilets and ample safe parking under shade.

Friendly staff, nice and cozy enviroment. Small milktart with coffee is brilliant idea Food is pricey and not worth it. Livers was basically just sheba with few small bits of liver.

An outstanding place to stop when passing through. Set in a lush nursery the food is tasty, fresh, well presented, well portioned and the menu varied. There is new ownership and thus far it seems that the standard has been maintained. We arrived way after lunch and so stocks were a little low, hence the 4 stars, but the second options that we chose were just as delicious. First time having the lowfeld seasonal fruit salad and it was superb, freshly cut, assortment of ripe fruit. There is also place to sit inside which is cozy in winter. The shop sells a variety of items, from foodstuffs to decorative items and more. They have the most delicious honey and home baked treats. Good pricing too. Looking forward to the same great quality next visit. A great break on a long car trip. Kids can play and walk around the nursery.

I lovely gem, worth taking the detour for. Good is good and well priced, farm produce and crafts are great, and the service is friendly and efficient. Only complaint was the milk was overheated in the coffee, but this isn't really a coffee shop.

What terrible food!!! Paid R110 Are you kidding me, no salt or spices gave me chips instead of salad 😡

An incredible tranquil place to enjoy a nice quiet lunch, breakfast, or just drinks with friends, family, or just by yourself.

The food was great and well priced. The staff were very loud in the kitchen. The staffs dress code was shocking. I did not know the difference between the staff & the customers. [ staff need to look more presentable & professional]. Halls Farm Stall is well stocked with alot of fresh produce and gifts. There are loads of interesting items in the store. It is a great place to visit.

I didn't have a good experience. I'm from Jhb. I bought rusks and when I opened them here they somehow seemed as if they were not completely baked and tasted old, despite the Selby date of 9th March 2023. I was there before COVID 19, it's very changed and their service is shocking!!

Halls is a must stop if you are passing through. It's a really well-stocked farmstyle stall with lots of goodies, drinks, and trinkets. Sitting in the nursery for breakfast or lunch is really nice and there is space for kids to play.

Most amazing scones. They are light and fluffy and not a hint of baking powder in the taste. Such a pity though. We used to frequent this stall in the 1990's and early 2000's. The jams were amazing as were the juices and fresh fruit. What they offer now is not their own products and the prices are unbelievably expensive. I mean R150 for a jar of preserved peaches- just one example. 3 grapefruit for R30 (they're in season at present and the quality of the fruit was questionable).

Hall's Farm Stall.... after 50 years from small beginnings no no no. Your business concept of individual owners for multiple business under one roof not working. 2 x different plates (see picture), we also were forced to walk into restaurant and call for serving of 2 x tables (elderly).

Always a treat to stop here. Always something interesting to see and the produce they sell is of top quality! The restaurant is also recommendable.

Nothing to add. So very disappointed. Can't rate service because it was non-existent. Coffee Bar was ok but not worth 2 stars. Had to ask for sweetener and then for spoon. Only sweet things in fridges in the stall - no freshly baked pies. When asked for plastic spoon to eat lemon meringue, we were told there aren't any. In the end I took a muffin which I could eat whilst travelling. Was always a pleasure to visit the stall. Not today though.

A huge variety of products but very pricey. A little cafe inside the shop provides cake and beverages. Nursery stocks a good selection of plants

A must visit. Meals are tasty. Fresh bread to buy. Nuts available and good selection home preserves. Outside seating next to the nursery peaceful. Knick knacks for sale.

Hall's Farm stall - around for years already Great to visit again after a long time I always like the farm stall feel with goodies to buy, taste and browse The Farm restaurant was inviting with wifi available and a place I could work on my laptop- I had a Peanut Butter Late as a "snack"- decadent treat!

We are regular customers after we discovered what nice breakfast, they served at The Farm Stall. The breakfast with the chicken livers are to die for or order the half and half breakfast. It is chicken livers on toast and mince on toast combination. It is very value for money and very tasty. The setting in the nursery is so refreshing and one of the very few places in Nelspruit that really takes advantage of our beautiful scenery and climate. Coffee quality is always a determining factor for a restaurant and The Farm Stall delivers big time. Not only breakfast but an added bonus is the absolutely divine bite of chocolate cake they serve. The food and setting combined made for a really memorable morning! We regularly return for breakfast and the quality remains of high quality as always.  With regards to service, I understand and appreciate that you prepare everything from scratch and the food therefore takes slightly longer. So, don’t go for a quick bite but sit back relax and enjoy the scenery. When you are done you will feel you have been on an outing and will be ready to take on the world. If you have not been to Halls, make an effort and you won’t be sorry

A lovely little place! The Farm Stall is massive, mainly focused on selling local crafts and packaged foods, sauces, sweets, and snacks, not fresh fruit and veggies. The coffee shop is a cosy little spot, with great period decor and friendly staff. The food is tasty, though not particularly well presented. A great stop and worth your time. The nursery next door is just as great. A real gem. If you’re heading to Kruger National Park, make this a stop on the way.

Super wide variety of things to eat and drink - we saw some amazing milkshakes being brought out but after our meal we were too full to order one to taste. The chips were under cooked but the nachos were delicious :) there is a market outside with cute goodies to buy and a gift shop inside with craft gin that was really well priced. Other gifts like homemade jams and sauces as well as dried fruits and sweets.
