If you looking for a peaceful weekend get away this place is not the place. My fiancee booked for us a weekend get away for my birthday at Mercure. It's Friday night 23:47pm 14/10/2022 as I m writing this review, and we trying to sleep and there is people outside taking loud, room next door, car hooting and revving, and we have already phoned reception twice and the noise continues. What is annoying is that when we checked-in we did explain to the reception that we don't need noise, we just want to relax, but they still checked in next to us people who are busy making up and down the stairs during the night, talking and laughing. They have other room that are not occupied for the weekend, they should have at least respected our request.

We ate there, sorry to say that the food was not as good as we thought it to be. The veggies was between raw & partially cooked , they should be either raw or well cooked. The meat was tough not well cooked either. Next time if there is going to be a next time we will ask the cook to come & taste his own food & tell us if he is satisfied with it. Otherwise the service was good & very friendly staff, no complains there.

It's a good clean hotel, we mostly held out work meetings here, and their food is always sufficient and taste delicious.

A total face lift since our visit in Feb. 2022. The whole atmosphere has changed to being friendly, caring, professional and eco friendly. Service was prompt and friendly. The meals were well prepared and tasty. I have attached a photo of the upgraded pool area. Amazing. It is apparent that more upgrades are in the pipeline. We will be back!

This hotel is a hotel. Value for money. Clean, spacious rooms are beautiful. That you have a stove, fridge and microwave tops it. The service is amazing. The one thing is a long wait at the reception as a proffessional Kenneth was working alone. Besides that the hotel is amongst the best. Have backup for lo ad shedding, mall just footsteps away. My best.

Ive been staying in Mercure hotel for many years but the level of the hotel in general has been falling these past years. We stayed in room 410 on the 3rd of October. Upon arrival in the room, the floor was very sticky / dirty..there was no kettle, cutlery , the air con in the room was not working...there was no soap in the bath The floor was really bad. Dust. We had to walk around the room with our shoes on and could here the sticky noise every time..

I don’t think this place still qualifies to be called a hotel. The room gives off student varsity accommodation. The food yoh there wasn’t enough options for dinner. Even with dessert it’s one thing. There were flies where they put the green salad😫 ai. The staff is very nice and friendly though. I think they need to revamp and upgrade because ai no

Staff are always on hand when a problem arises. Service was friendly, going the extra mile. Relaxing atmosphere in the rooms and the highlight was the pool area. A place were full relaxation can happen, with the convience of having your breakfast delieverd to you, via a call to the resturant from your room. A pool area to relax in the sun. The mall is within walking distant which makes this, the place to be. Room prices are value for money, especialy the family room. Aircon units are fantastic and the reliable use of electricity supply even during load shed, ensures that work can continue. Impressive accomodation for an exceptional price.

The hotel is good, and the service is very good. The only snag was that some clients come in groups with buses, and they make noise to others in the rooms. Please you should reinforce the no disturbance rules. Everyone needs his -her privacy and all guests should respect others in this regard. Thank you.

This such a fabulous and simply amazing place. Management and staff go all the way to ensure an unforgettable experience. The hotel has lots of vegetables coming straight from their organic garden. The hotel is a stone throw away from iLanga Mall. Great service, value for money and a home away from home for all your needs.

We had a booking made on 30th November 2022 reference 4303929. Then we made payment on the 23/1/2023 ref 97225 refers. When we booked in on the 30th of June, our booking was no where to be found. We asked for a top unit, that was a battle aswell, we asked for the 2nd room just to move the 2 beds together, that was a mager issue, although that was arranged with booking. Rooms were in a bad state, light bulps were not in place. Service was absolutly poor. We were locked out Saterday night of our rooms.

Beautiful accommodation, well located, family suits are clean however their breakfast pack is way limited.

It was a beautiful experience. Friendly staff, beautiful and warm weather. You are neighbours to the Mall, restaurants, outdoor activities.

It’s a nice hotel 1st one in nelspruit can say 1st one in SA to have traditional cuisine the menu was launched today and it was awesome the excitement. The food was well prepared and nice different dishes to consume the place is clean and the staff is friendly and know how to treat customers go to place that one can visit where you can enjoy your food and siping your drink while chilling to their swimming pool

Great hotel....rooms were comfortable but does need some work. The generator was too loud during loadshedding but we do accept the fact at least there us a generator to keep the power on. The supper menu was limited but tasty. Overall a great experience at the hotel and conveniently located next to the mall.

Not a bad hotel overall. Rooms are a bit far from reception and you need to go outside to reach your room. Not ideal if it is raining, I would expect this of a Lodge not a hotel. Rooms are huge and full supported by the generator so if you are here for business nothing stops you from working. Feels very safe and secure. Walking distance to a mall which makes it very convenient.

I've been to a few conferences here. It's never at the professional level one excepts. One summer the aircon didn't work. We notified them on venue inspection a week prior but nothing was done. The bar closed early so we could not get refreshments at breaks or afterwards. Parking is also an issue.

My family and I visited Mecure Hotel. What a wonderful experience, from the friendly welcome at reception to the pleasant waiting- and bar staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. Had nice wholesome breakfasts and lunch. Lovely pool area where the kids can swim and play while parents can relax on the deck chairs next to the pool.

a good place to take a rest during a trip. service is good. there's a pool too. overall a great hotel

Conveniently placed, walked to Ilanga Mall for dinner. Rooms clean, bathroom needs a little revamping and the beds a bit too hard for my liking. Service at the reception was great.

It has been a while since I stayed in there but as far I know is recommended place to stay if you're visiting Nelspruit

Next to ilanga mall, good venue when travelling with kids, two story structured. also good for business meetings with various meeting room / hall sizes. average food quality. good wifi. clean facility. a bit of a struggle with parking, you can also park in the mall for free.
