We ordered the Bacon, Cheese and Chilli loaded fries- incredibly tasty, some of the best cheese cheese sauce I’ve ever had. Be warned though, those chilli’s are really hot! I feel their portions could be a bit bigger for the price. But really is worth the money. Drinks are good, service is really good and the staff are incredibly friendly. Nice atmosphere. Overall a really nice place to have some drinks with friends.

Its my second visit and the people really makes you feel welcome, the food was great i had burgers both times and i highly recommend the grilled chicken burger...

This was the worst food ever in Nelspruit. Snails with garlic that taste like nothing. Chicken livers in water sauce. Boneless Ribs was an oblong hamburg slathered with sweet sauce and boiled fries. Sorry, never again. Marc

680+ reviews, so Upperdeck must be doing something right to average 4 stars…Hmm, I know, it’s gotta be the ½ price cocktails from 13:00 to 20:00, Wednesday & Saturday (I stand to be corrected on time & days). Hey I’m not complaining, I love yummy boujee lookin’ drinks that suit my pocket. I’ve only ever had the chilli cheese chips, chicken strips and crumbed mushrooms as nibbles to line my stomach but it’s scrumdiddlyumptious. Waiters do need to level-up though.

Honestly the Kola Tonic and Lemonade wasn't bad and quite delicious but the food was unfortunately inedible. The ribs was soggy and the chicken strips was unfortunately tasteless, all I can complement on is the chips and the samosas, but not the rest of the Meaty Basket.

Waiter was awesome, starter (livers) good but portions are not what we were told and they clearly have no idea how to prepare meat, temperature was all wrong!!!

Nice relaxed place. We sat on the deckwhere we overlooked the main road. The Alfredo pasta was good, generous portion . The fish and chips was so-so. Chips nice, a generous portion but the fish was firm and a bit chewy, especially the skin, which was weird. Definitely not hake.

Upper Deck apparently does bookings but to helping us book it was not an option. No table reservations are allowed while you're waiting for the rest to come either, which I clearly don't understand! Upper deck also just uses COVID regulations when it suits them the best! Every other weekend they are fully packed and have tons of people in close distance to each other but a group of friends were not allowed that due to them. Having a rude waitress on hand with a terrible attitude, calling the owner of the place to come and talk with us and mind you we were not even rude or disrespectful at all. On top of that for tasteless food! Raw chips and no flavour either? Cheese sauce had a super strange taste, it is quite a disappointment to have your money wasted on horrible food + service. So uncalled for Upper Deck. Luckily for me and the of my family they will not be seeing us anytime soon.

Was there on Thursday. Service good food good.Today Saturday afternoon.Siting at bar counter service good up to a point then they ignored me.I paid my bill with a good tip and sat outside.Only had 3 drinks. Outside had 2 drinks good service. Then 2 women walked in.It took longer to wait for the bill than it took to fin those 2 drinks.The staff totaly ignorde the customers. They were dressed like whorse.If I want special treatment I will stay at home and pore my own drinks.This was not good.Sorry.

We had such a great time. Service was a bit slow to start with but it improved a lot. The food was good. There was a nice atmosphere around.

The Upper deck is a simple resturant bar with mostly outdoor picnic style seats serving up cold beers, burgers, salads and larger plates like ribs and chicken. They have a small bar and a few video slot machines inside as well. The service was quick and the beer was cold. The bathrooms were clean w/ soap and hand towels which is always nice to see. My first visit I had a burger with side salad and on my second visit I ordered the ribs and wings. Sadly, the wings were the world's smallest wings. The food was tasty but if you are ordering a combo, do yourself a favor and buy them as extras. They staff was also able to offer salad instead of chips which was nice and house dressing was really tasty. They also have a nice view for sundowners.

Nice to have a beer, management has a not so friendly vibe and when busy the service is a bit slow. But overall a good place to have a few drinks.
