What a joke. Carrots are rotten before you can open it. Everything is old. No vegtables are fresh. Don't think you are getting value buying there. You have to throw most of it away.

I was buying at Food lovers for past 3 years without issues, but recently i find either carrots,avocado or grapes rotten when you get home. I had mindset that all products will be fresh

Shop is always clean but have noticed that most often than not , the staff at the tills are clueless about the promotions / specials in store and if you are not careful you are charged the full amounts without the sale deductions. Constantly check your till slips before walking out

Fresh fruits clean place good staff and you finish your money 🤣😜🤣🤣😜😜I love buying my fruits and veggie’s in that place it is always at a reasonable prices love their R10 tuesday although you end up buying what you ddn’t plan to buy of course that is a business strategy 😜😜🫣😜 but will always go there for more cause I love their products

They sell a wide range of food at affordable prices, just have to compare with other places. I often just go there for their meat at the butchery which is very fresh with friendly butchers to assist with choice of meat. Quite affordable. No long queues.

I know we all go for fresh fruits and vegetables but hear me out! Those doughnuts. 😭😭😭 OMGGGG my last money always goes to FLM! 😂🥹 Those R10 Tuesday's a bonus in this economy really!

Their range of fruit and vegetables is very good. great specials and packages. a bit pricey on the butchery side. and great bakery section with wide range of baked goods. it is actually a one stop shop.

Wonderful selection of fresh and preserved foodstuff. They often run great specials! Their biltong & dry wors is not had at all. Try the Honey flavoured yoghurt, it changed my life forever!!! Only issue I've got is that the size of the soft serve on your cone varies according to whom is preparing it/on duty. I don't gamble like that. If I feel like I got a raw deal I'm not going to enjoy my ice cream!

Visit them again after my disappointment last year I must say what a metamorphosis. Shelves are clean fully packed, staff very friendly. Will visit again.

Sadly not what it used to be. Fruit are bruised and go bad quickly. Could do be with better check-out points....nobody likes to stand in never ending lines to pay

We always buy our bulk meat hamper from food lovers. We have never been disappointed. The meat quality is great and the butchurs are always helpful and meet our requirements of how to pack and for how many people to pack the meat. Selby I think is his name always go's above and beyond for us when he is there to help us. Overall great experience every month

I love their freshly baked produce. The muffins are huge, cheap for their size & you basically can get almost every fruit or vegetable regulated in S. Africa.

Being new in Nelspruit. I had my first trip to the local food lovers market today.... What a disappointment..... Understocked shelfs... Rotten vegetables.... The butchery department had little variety Staff to busy talking to each other to help.... Wont go there again.... Can learn a thing or two from Middelburg food lovers

Depends what you're looking for. I usually find the fruit to be overripe. Great place to buy prawns

Wow! What a nice, clean store with such a big variety of fresh food and more!! Definitely worth visiting. Friendly staff and lots of parking too.

It's a supermarket with fair price of veggies and fruits. They also sell other goods. You can find some various brands of products different from PnP, Shopprite, Checkers or Spars. You can also get cheaper olive oils here. In this inflation era, it's good to have this kind of shop.

Bought the last 3 to 4 years there and the fruit and veggies was always fresh and affordable. . But our last 3 visits was not a good experience. . the prices is still good and a lot of specials. .. it is not as fresh as it used to be. Apples, pears, carrots, grapes, tomatoes and even patatoes you have to throw almost half away. .. now it is no more a special or good price. We will rather pay more at other stores and use it in stead off throughing half off it away . The shop is clean and tidy but the fruit, vegetables and meat aren't that fresh as it used to be. Love the specials. As a plant based family, we know we can find what we are looking for at great prices. Would be nice if they made some vegan (potato/ corn/ mushrooms) samosas..

Thank you for the olive oil special, the prices have been really high lately. I go there more than once a week especially because they run a lot of specials and they are affordable. Like today, I bought a lot of stuff for my friends as well, ps stock more baked beans they were sold out and I wanted plenty of them

Well priced fresh produce. Look out for the occasional overripe veggies which won't last for more than a day. The store also stocks some basic Asian, Italian, banting and keto ingredients. The store always has some sort of special on fruits or vegetables and meat products.

I’m not big on giving reviews but yesterday 29 April me and my sister went to food lovers for the specials. Everything we bought was okay but besides the Lancewood double cream plain yogurt we bought,it legit tastes like inkomazi also known as amasi. I don’t know whether i was supposed to write this statement to the supplier(lancewood) or the distributors(which is food lovers) I am soo hurt because I know how lancewood plain yogurt tastes and it wasn’t the first time me buying it at food lovers but was definitely the first time buying a Lancewood nkomazi version 💔

Best super market I have ever shopped in, it's clean everything you want you get it, their food is fresh and the cashiers are very friendly ❤️
